Terrible follow up customer service
My layer was rude said my area was pig dressed in a white coat
When asked to come back to check lifting as it needed more trim he said this would be the last time he would come before he even looked at the area
Was told by Manager before he even saw what problem was that I would have to pay for fix
Was then told by layer that wrong vinyl was used
Please don’t go there
Good if no problems

Recently had 115 sqm vinyl planks + 70 sqm new carpet installed by FX Browns Plains.
Perfect experience from start to finish. Great customer service, quality product at competitive prices. Attention to detail & quality of workmanship by installers excellent. Will definitely recommend.

The guys arrived first thing in the morning to start, worked all day and didnt stop and did an amazing job. Very neat and tidy and very professional. Highly recommended.

I recently had my carpets installed by Flooring Xtra at Browns Plains, Qld. The whole process went quickly and smoothly.  The was a large selection in store for different budgets. Matthew arrived on time to do the measure and quote, and brought a selection of samples.  The carpet was ordered from interstate and delivered within a week, and carpet installed a week after my first visit to the store. The installer, Jamie, was very friendly; the carpets are professionally finished.  I highly recommend this store, everyone I had contact with was very friendly. Thanks again for the great service. The carpet looks beautiful.

I should have known better when the owner told me he was an ex real estate agent. I will never ever deal through flooring extra again. Worst experience in renovating I have ever had. I have renovated many houses and never had a worse experience. The story would be too long to explain just trust me DO NIT DO IT. The quality of the job was THE WORST I have ever experienced. AFTER SALE SERVICE even worse.

I purchased a 1 bed unit and was thinking about replacing the carpet in the bedroom. Jane came to my unit and suggesting ripping up all the carpet and replacing with vinyl planking through out. From the first appointment I was very impressed with her professional suggestions, quoting and always getting straight back to me. The process of laying was over 2 days and the end result was beautiful. I am a perfectionist and Wayne, that laid my flooring, completed a perfect job. He was polite and very helpful to deal with and I couldn’t find any faults with his work. I would highly recommend this company and highly recommend Jane who did the quotes and Wayne who laid the floor.

Dave Toal from floooring Xtra lawnton was so helpful even came out 2 times to re measure when I changed my mind , he was very professional, the prices were exceptional ( I had several quotes)
And then the installers were fantastic, on time, tidy and very friendly !
Couldn’t speak more highly of them

I recently purchased carpet and laminated flooring from the Hornsby store. Doug was great and amazingly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He kept me informed at all stages of the job and made sure I was satisfied on completion. The installers did a fantastic job, were prompt and pleasant. A great job by all involved plus I loved that the store is open on a Sunday. Outstanding service.

Thanks to Matthew I now have 3 rooms carpeted at a reasonable price.
The installation guys have done a great job so thanks to them aswell.

From the moment we entered the showroom the service and communication was first class the staff were very friendly and obliging and an inspection to quote was arranged for the afternoon. The quote was very satisfactory and included moving some heavy furniture. The installer came introduced himself explained what he would do and how it would happen.His professionalism as a tradesman first class his respect for our home second to none so obviously the install went according to plan he cleaned up backed his truck and said farewell unfortunately it asked for no personal details but he was exceptional and a very worthy employee not forgetting the showroom staff well done

This company is avoiding fixing our carpet since we built almost 5 years ago. Wearing really fast and ripped and lots of pulls in the carpet in the first year.
They are blaming the manufacturer!
Reconsider this company, Burbank use them as a flooring supplier!
They don't call you back and make excuses!!! KEEP CLEAR!!!!

Adam Taylor has worked with us on 6 different jobs over several years and we have always been happy with the result. Adam has demonstrated excellent knowledge, professionalism and patience finding us the right product for our needs. We had a number of jobs recently done, Karndean Longboards on two floors and stairs carpeted. John was very helpful and knowledgeable and provided excellent service and advice. Bouquets also to Emma and to Len the carpet layer. Recommended!

From when I first visited the showroom then the next day Jane Campbell came and measured up, I had every faith in her. The following Friday Craig came and installed it.
Thanks both to Jane and Craig on their professionalism, I love my new carpet with no hitches....thanks to you both.

I was going to use Carpet court for my floating floors, then just by chance, I walked past the new flooring Xtra store in Toukley, I went in for a browse, then I spoke to Darcey the store Manager. I asked him about the company. He told me it's a family-owned business. Then I was sold regardless of price, I like supporting Australian family business'. Turned out they gave me a better price than Carpet Court & a much better guarantee on workmanship.
I am very distrusting on leaving my home unattended while getting work done. from the moment I met their installers, I knew I had nothing to worry about & for the first time I went out while having my floor installed, very rare for me to do so!!
I am so happy with the work done & HIGHLY recommend to People living near or far to use Flooring Xtra for floating floors or Carpeting get behind an Aussie company lets help them grow. You will not regret it!
Great Customer service, they make you feel welcome & it's not just a suck up for your business, it's just how they are TRUE BLUE AUSTRALIAN SERVICE JUST THE WAY WE LIKE IT!!!
BTW I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN A INCENTIVE FOR THIS REVIEW, I always tell it how it is, give me bad service I give you a bad review

Installers do a great job , very neat and professional, BUT apparently even though our floors were completely uncovered when they did the measure and quote there was 'unforseen' floor leveling required and we were told on the day of installation we had to pay $500 or they would 'pack up and leave' this is not mentioned anywhere in the contract and I had even asked if there was going to be extra cost for floor prep as another local company had said in their quote that floor prep was required but included in their quote. Both people I spoke to refused to negotiate and were dismissive and said 'pay or we leave' and I had to sign another peice of paper that even said only if floors were covered could there be 'unforseen' floor prep.
Then on day 2 the installation team accidentally broke our new oven door glass and the bosses in the office instead of saying 'sorry we will fix it' tried to get out of paying it because we hadn't paid a $60 fee for moving furniture!
I had to explain it was 'unforseen' accident and they agreed to pay.
So very stressful process made much worse by hidden costs that should not have applied to our contract as nothing was 'unforseen'

For the second time we have used John and his team at the Canning Vale store for our flooring needs. The service provided was professional, honest and reliable. John is always willing to go the extra mile to provide good old fashioned service, he provides a great product at a good price. We will be recommending John to all our family and friends.
