Gave me only 1 week notice that item could no longer be hire. Did not have items as descriptions. They took them out of order without refunding the money. I have sent several emails to require my bond back. Never heard from them. No phone calls, no emails, they tried to avoid my number when I tried to call. It now has been 3 weeks since the date the bond was claimed to be released. But I have received nothing back yet. Rishel from Customer service made promises but never kept. I was told that she would send email/call me back to follow up but never did.

The 6 metre high dry slide and boxing ring were surprise activities for our athletes Christmas party. Time to celebrate and have some fun after a huge year of local and international competition success. The activities were perfect for all of our athletes who ranged from 6 years to 24 years old. Thank you Funtime for delivering and setting everything up and packing it up again. Thank you for the small discount i also asked for to keep within our event budget, much appreciated.

We hired a jumping castle for our 3 year olds birthday. We couldn't fault the service process in answering questions and booking in. Delivery was on time and the driver was fantastic in setting up. Jumping castle was exactly what we wanted and ordered. Can't speak highly enough, thanks so much Funtime Party Hire, we had a lot of very happy kids and made the party!

Having placed an order for the hire of a photo booth with an attendant and also a jukebox, I received a call 2 days before the event saying drop off will be between 5.00pm and 5.30pm. On the night of the party, that time came and passed. I rang the office at 5:46pm to find out where the delivery was. The lady said she would get someone to ring me back. At 5.52pm I received a call saying that they were 10 minutes away. They turned up at about 6.15pm and I signed at 6.17pm. It then took about 30 minutes for the photo booth to be set up. We then asked when was the jukebox being set up. The attendant kept saying soon. Then on the 3rd request he said it would be here soon. So they had forgotten the jukebox and the other guy had to go and get it, I assume, from your warehouse. In the meantime, we also discovered that the props for the photo booth were not there either. The jukebox and props finally turned up at roughly 7.20pm. The photo booth kept breaking down over the night, and each time it took about 5 minutes to get it going again. Then the items were packed up earlier than the 3 hour hire time I paid for. So all up I only got about 2 hours and 15 minutes hire time. The attendant wasn’t very involved either, spending most of the night on his phone. Other parties I have been to with a photo booth, the attendant had been highly involved getting everyone highly interested. But as you can see from the photo, wow. The venue I had the event at, were appalled at the whole experience with your company. They even wrote down in their daily run sheet the whole thing. They said they would back me up. I have written emails to which no reply. I attempted 2 live chats, both times got disconnected without even an attempt at an answer, and I rang, again no call back about my complaint. So people, really think before using Fun Time Party Hire, more like Bad Time Party Hire.

I am still waiting for the return of my bond after 3 weeks! I guess I am not alone. When you ring up the company they tell you they are “processing” it. If you dare complain that their “processing” is taking a long time they hang up on you.

On January 26th we had hire the large combo Micky Mouse jumping castle to be delivered to our property at 10am and removed after 5pm - 7 hour hire service. Here is a breakdown of what went terribly wrong.
1. Delivery man was late. I was told he would arrive between 9:40am and 10am. I gave the benefit of the doubt and waiting 15 minutes and still nothing. I rang the office and they said the driver was caught behind with the last customer and that is okay. He arrived at 10:45am left at 11am. $20 removed from total price so that was fine. Still the driver was late and no one seemed to care.
2. Once it was set up, I found a dirty bandaid, dirt, rocks and grass inside. It was NEVER CLEANED! I rang up to tell them and they stated it was clean and that's that. I have photos and im telling you now it was not clean. I requested it to be removed and have a refund.
3. I was told that someone would come out A.S.A.P to remove it and I wouldn't get a refund! I argued and stated i wouldn't return the item if I got no refund.
4. They rang the police and told them I stole the item even though It was still in my lease time frame 10am - 5pm. I agreed to have it collected and collect A.S.A.P
5. There is no manager on call? The call centre didnt have the managers phone number which sounds completely stupid.... how can you run a business without having your bosses phone number? Just stupid.
6. Told I would have to wait until monday the 28th before someone could decide if i can get a refund by a manager. Apparently they tried calling me but i have no record of a missed call or voicemail message.
I admit I spoke to the lady on the other end of the phone rudely, but she just wasn't listening and wasn't making any effort to resolve the conflict.

Very unprofessional and would not recommend at all. I've read the reviews of other people and it seems like a lot of people have a problem with cleanliness of hired equipment. If the owner reads this.... get your business in order and stop disappointing so many people.

I ordered a juke box, pizza cooker, photo booth, tables and chairs, the delivery staff were outstanding and very professional! I'll only ever use Funtime party hire now for all my party needs, the equipment was high quality at a reasonable price and all my guests absolutely loved they party. 11/10 service :)

I hired a jumping castle for my daughters 6th Birthday Party which has now been cancelled due to government restrictions and this company are forcing me to postpone without the offer of returning my funds.The response I've received from [name removed] is well we can still deliver as we are a delivery service" to throw it back in my face that I can not hold the event due to the covid19 restrictions by saying "oh well we can still deliver" so this is my problem is disgusting.

Leading up to the party we had a few changes and every time I called the person taking the call was always helpful, understanding and was actually able to explain things.... this is the first time we have ever hired party equipment so i was nervous about the day....

Funtime Party hire contacted me the day before and asked if it would be okay to drop everything off the night before - this made the following day alot easier!

We hired a slushy machine and jumping castle - the driver showed us how to use the slushy machine and was very helpful with all questions asked....

I can’t fault their equipment! We had 50 adults and 30 kids at the party and after 6 hours of hire it was obvious that we didn’t need anything else.... we hired the medium sized jumping castle with external slide and the twin tub slushy.... this was perfect for our party - it really made our night!

I would only say if you are worried about anything read their terms and conditions and if you are still not sure - call....

Thanks again Funtime Party hire - we will definitely hire with you again

We hired the Sumo Suits in July and hired a Photo Booth for a different party this past weekend, had great experiences both times. Staff were friendly and communicated well ahead of time, had confirmations days before both events. Drop off and pickup was organised within certain time frames and worked perfectly with my events. Products were as described, and had no issues with them.
If I did have some constructive advice it would just be to update the props that come with the photo booth, they were definitely well used. Nonetheless we still had a fabulous time with them. Thank you !

I have been waiting for a manager to call me back for three days with vague email replies. Hired an item which came incorrectly, wrong coloured fairy floss, shocking staff on the equipment, burnt floss smoking up a hall for a kids birthday. They dont answer calls or get back to complaints. Would not recommend. Beware!!!

Booked in April for my Gransons 1st bday and left $100 deposit which still hasnt been refunded till this day & been 3 months now. I paid $580 for a popcorn machine, fairy floss & slushys with an operator. Driver arrived 2 hours late, didnt get not one serving of floss as the operator didnt know how to make them. Slushys had metal pieces in them. It was dangerous & embarrassing. I have called the company numerous times but they hang up on me. I will be taking legal action!!

Called needing to hire a pancake machine two days out from the event, and they were able to fulfil my request with no trouble. The only issue I had was I wasn't given much help to set up the machine. In saying that it was pretty easy to work out.

I ordered a wiggles jumping castle for my sons 2nd birthday as it was a wiggles theme. Paid my bond a month before, everything was all booked. ) days before the party I got an email saying the castle I wanted was no longer available however they had a plain one I could have at additional cost. This didn’t suit our theme, so I told them I only wanted the wiggles one. They couldn’t do it and offered a refund of my bond.. it’s now been 10 days and I’m still waiting, can’t get hold of a manager or anyone higher than a sales rep. Save ur self the headache and hire through ash’s jumping castles. Cheaper, friendlier and u can have it for longer

We decided to hire a photobooth with this company for our 10 Year Vow Renewal as they were the best priced. I did see the reviews, both good and bad, but decided to focus on the good reviews. I looked at their social accounts and they had a good following. So I trusted their company. We did our part as customers. We paid bond, deposit and full payment on time. We communicated with the company and they confirmed with us.
1. As 1st picture below, they got the design, date and text wrong when they confirmed everything was good on their end.
2. Since contact (2nd picture), all they have done is put the blame on us and not once acknowledge that their company confirmed our design and text and they got it wrong. They wanted us to spend time during our event to sort their mistake.
3. Their props were absolutely filthy and disgusting.
4. They changed delivery time to earlier meaning we were not going to be there during drop off.
5. Print outs were overexposed (3rd picture).

Things I wish I noticed before booking with them:
1. Their Facebook page doesn't show reviews and doesn't show bad comments from customers.
2. The business is managed by people from the Philippines, India and only 2 people from Australia.

We have reported our experience to NSW Fair Trading. Funtime Party hire has now blocked us from Facebook, meaning we cannot message them anymore and also probably means our review will not show. If they reply to this review, I have no doubt it will be full of excuses and blame.

We really hope our review helps future customers. Spend that extra money, go elsewhere, and get what you actually pay for. Do not book with this company and help spread the word.

I find it really sad that with all the hysteria happening at the moment we decided to cancel our party and booking and they refuse to give us a $50 refund. Considering i also run an events based business we have been inundated with cancellation and have a "non refundable" deposit but under these circumstances have had the heart to refund everything in full! Very disappointing. Will not be using this company or recommending this company ever.

I hired this company for my son's 1st Birthday on Saturday and am disgusted at their port service and quality of their product. The drivers vehicle broke down, the jumping castle deflated, luckily the children did not get injured and I managed to get them off the castle. I had to then contact the main line and it took me 4 consecutive tries to get someone on the line who then did not know there was a pick up Time. Your drivers should know the drop off time and pick up Time of every event. He did not come to the venue until 2.50pm almost 2 hours late to pick up the jumping castle. Really?? I then called a few time to provide feedback and was told by one of their representative that they did not know who to put me through to make a complai t and all she can do is pass on a message. Unprofessional, I called again 3 times and managed to speak with a Shandel Brown and again said the same thing. Management do not care and I advise anyone looking to hire through these people DO NOT DO IT. I paid $610 and then they tell me I had to pay $70?? I sent them 2 emails to which no one has gotten back to me on. Never going to hire through them ever again and have made a formal complaint. Disappointed and disgusted at their lack of services, product and how they supposedly have bad phones lines. Never have I had an experience like this. They RIP you off and do not respond to anything. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

I ordered a jumping castle for my daughters 1st birthday. The company called me twice to advise me that they were going to drop the jumping castle off at 930am. As we were having her party in a hall we obviously had to be there so the hall was open, this was no problem as we would be setting up anyways. At 10am the driver calls me to tell me he will be 10 mins away he is running late. 1030 no sign of him 1045 still nothing so I call to ask where he is. He says he is 5 minutes away. He arrives at 11.15 and myself and my husband have been waiting there when we had other things to do. To make matters worse he storms into the hall telling us where does the castle need to go, you need to move this table move that out the way! Very rudely!!!! no please nothing!!! we left it and just did what he said. He then comes in and says you need to give me my money and sign here before I bring the jumping castle in. My husband then extremely angry said to him no mate you need to bring the castle in and put it up so we can see it is working. He refused so my husband told him to leave! Worst customer service!!!!!!! we then had to get another jumping castle from a different place after waiting 2 hours and rude customer service! it seems like a trend with this place. Fast forward a week Im still waiting for someone to call me back and for this company to give me my bond money back!!!!! absolute joke that we didnt even use the castle yet they havent bothered to give me my money back!!!! the least they could do considering they are out there making people's events an absolute disaster!!!! if you want to keep customers learn how to treat them properly and make their day go smoothly!!!!! otherwise no one will bother coming back to you!!!

I spoke with them on the 14/02/2020 about 9:40 am. Spoke with Chandelle asking if there is heavy rain and can not use the jumping castle we were looking at booking (due to the recent heavy rain event we've been having in NSW) for a party, do we lose the $50 deposit. She said yes (which is fair enough) however, she also said you CAN NOT cancel, only reschedule for another date. And if we chose not to use it at all and not reschedule, we would STILL have to pay the full amount ($240) for something we did not even get. This is even if we don't use it at all and no matter how much notice we give. I asked to speak with a manager, waited on hold for 8 minutes and then they just simply hung up on me. Ridiculous!!

I hired a slushies machine, snow cone machine and 3 power extension cables. At the beginning sign the contract it said will supply good condition machine and clean. They asked for deposit, and it will get refund after hire period. I did as they request. On the day of event the machines delivery late, supplied only 1 power cable but charge still charged 3. Snow cone machine the blade blunt did not work properly. When I made a call for help the girl on phone said she will find someone that can help and will call back but she didn't. I had to made several calls then she replied will send some on come have a look and at the end the man came after 7pm and said nothing wrong with machine. One day of my business gone. The worst thing they didn't refund deposit money as the contract said.
Stay away from this company, bad service, supply doggy machines. Dishonor people. Terrible company I ever meet.
