I had my Transplant exactly 4 weeks ago. Cosmedica and Mike Smith were a pleasure to deal with. I can't thank them both enough. They made me feel so welcome. Only 4 weeks in and starting to feel more confident as I know I went to the right place. Mike is there to answer any questions I have and he has been an legend since day 1. 100% happy with Cosmedica and especially Mike Smith who made my hair transplant journey so easy.

Travelled from Dublin Ireland for the procedure.
I had already got a cosultation and price in Blackrock. My Brother got 3000 fue there at 10 times the price I paid Cosmedica.
I decided to use Cosmedica after a lot of online research and a chat with an Irish politican that had the procedure done with them.
I have to compliment all their staff From Mustafa the driver to Dr Acar. Totally efficent and professional.
I had 5200 grafts and would highly recommend. I felt that comfortable I fell asleep during Surgery.

I would just like to thank everyone at gmh cosmedica, I had my hair transplant done on the 12th November 2019. I could not ask for anymore than what they did for me Mike, Killan and all the team in England and Istanbul were amazing from start to finish, they kept in touch with me checking to make sure everything was ok and I can't forget the chauffeur, Mustufa he was very helpful and very polite. If anyone is thinking of getting a hair transplant I would 100% recommend ghm cosmedica. I was very nervous as I went by myself but when I arrived I was put at ease, it was like one big happy family I made a few friends I can not praise ghm enough good luck and keep up the good work and all the best.

Well cut a long story short as possible I’ve been botherd about my receading hairline since I was 18 I’m now 27 so a long while too be botherd about my own appearance tried all the shampoos minoxidil everythink but let’s face it nothink helps so I new I would have too have a hair transplant too improve my hairloss/hairline I contacted mikes team one I had the funds available definitely couldn’t afford Harley street and was happy with cosmedica,s reviews / results pictures so on I decided tooo book it and take the plunge as they say I called mike just too have a chat and he’s a down to earth bloke told me I’d be fine and looked after which he was absolutely right ! I went with my sister so was nice too have some support was abit iffy travelling too a diffrent country for this type off procedure but literally it went so smoothly Turkish airlines are the one by the way whach new films there and back transfers/ taxi hotel is sorted for u get too the raddiaon which is a nice hotel got the time for my procedure day before went in was nervous obviously but I went for it met doctor acar he was a great guy drew my hairline then I paid for the procedure had it done took about 8 9 hours the pain is minimal if I’m honest the anesetic does hurt a little bit but they have too do it so u don’t feel anythink kept checking I was okay through out if I felt any pain they put more anstetic so yea honestly was well looked after while I was with cosmedica guys/girls would deffo go back again if needed but it’s 7 days post op so just gonna chill now and wait for my results can’t wait so happy I’ve had it done and it’s all over mike and doctor acar are very good guys all the woman and men working in the clinic are very hospitable people honestly lovely don’t be worried about it if your thinking off going :)

From start to finish the whole process was faultless
Mike takes good care of you before you go over and is able to answer all questions first hand
From the moment I landed in turkey I was looked after very well ,hotel was lovely all staff very helpful, food was great
Once at the hospital everything was explain in great depth wilth honest expectations of the out come
I had two a day surgery everything went well everyone there makes you feel at ease and nothing is to much trouble
The surgery is basically painless considering what is being done
Flight home was absolutely fine
I was able to wear a cap four days post op and was scab from after a week
Now at month five the difference is incredible
Can’t thank the whole team enough
Your in safe hands with these guys
Even now mike is always at the end of the phone if you I have questions and is always happy to help

I am 6 weeks post procedure and I can honestly say I am very happy with the progress and ongoing contact from Mike and his team so far.

I initially looked into getting an FUE around 18 months ago - speaking to a variety of specialists across the UK & Europe - whilst conducting my research I came across Get More Hair via an endosement from Calum Best. Naturally, I was always sceptical travelling abroad for the procedure but after communicating with Mike (and Calum via social media) my concerns were quickly put to bed.

I could only compare my experience with GMH and Cosmedica as the "Rolls Royce" of Hair Transplant industry. The most important aspect for me was always how much the Consultants conducting the procedure could educate me - DR Acar simply blew me away with his knowledge. He was able to explain (in detail) his methodology from; hair line design, graft extraction, and even down to making incisions and aftercare.

Whilst on my second day I met the father on a patient, who turned out to be a Clinical Director at one of the largest cosmedic hospitals in Germany. He had been recommended Dr Acar via a colleague as "The best FUE / Hair transplant Surgeon in europe." It was this moment that I knew thaf I had made the right decision.

Not only was the experience at the Cosmedica fantastic but Mike Smith was a true professional and I am extremely grateful for his support. From the moment the plan landed I was taken care of until the lsst day.

I was debating a transplant for 2 years and spoke to many company’s. I couldn’t decide who and was sick of the outrageous figures English companies wanted.
A close friend and a lot of research recommended get more hair / Cosmedica and once I spoke to mike Smith I knew where I was going to go.
I then decided to save up and Mike was patient with me and once I booked the help was almost like I had my own PA for the experience. Checking my flights , organising and more than anything making me relax knowing that I was in safe hands.
The whole experience was easy due to mike and the staff in Istanbul it makes a mockery of our country’s health care.
Dr acar explained everything in great detail and made me understand the whole process
I had the 2 day mega session 15 months ago and it’s took 10 years off me .
Even though I’ve paid and have no reason to speak to them, Mike REGULARLY checks in on me and ensures I’m still good. I’ve recommended over 5 friends and 3 have just come back and are all the same - surprised at the service and the quality of the product they give you. My results are absolutely ridiculous. No patches , looks natural , completely all binded. Hair is healthy due to the after care also is explained clearly and easy to follow.

Both my girlfriend and I had hair transplants with Get More Hair/Cosmedica in September 2018, I had the usual front and back crown (4200 grafts) and my girlfriend had her fringe lowered to cover a childhood scar. What can I say other than THANK YOU to Mike at GMH and Dr Acar and the team at Cosmedica.

We flew into Istanbul late on a Sunday evening and surgery was booked for early Monday morning. We stayed at the comfortable Radisson Blu, just minutes from the airport. We were picked up in the morning by Cosmedica's friendly driver in a luxury people carrier and transported to the hospital, which looked like a hotel, so straight away we both felt very relaxed.

We had the usual check-up and form filling before going in to see Dr Acar for our consultation and deciding what type of hairline we wanted, he drew his plan on our heads and off we went to surgery.

I was in surgery for approximately 10 hours, however, it went quickly due to some administered Xanax (I slept for most of it), it was relatively pain-free, the only thing I felt was the numbing injections right at the start. My girlfriend was in surgery for about 4/5 hours.

After surgery, I was whisked back to the hotel with my neck pillow and medication for a nights rest (GF had been back 4 hours before me), I must say, the neck pillow was my only discomfort (and for the first 7 days after whilst using it.....its just unnatural for a side sleeper!!)

The next morning after breakfast we were picked up and returned to the hospital for a check-up and hair wash, given our shampoo and discharged.....all very straight forward.

We opted to stay one more day in Istanbul for some sightseeing, which worked out well.

We are both almost a year down the line and couldn't be happier with the results. Mike, thanks for your help, advice and reassurance......

I was nervous at first about going to turkey for a hair transplant but I really shouldn’t of been, From the minute we landed (my dad came with me for support) we found the travel desk easy and got our transfer, which was shared by another 2 guys from Germany, to our hotel.

Hotel was nice and it put me at ease just to see how many people were there to have procedures done themselves. GMH gave me a pickup time and Mustafa was there to pick me up, unfortunately there was no space in the van for my dad to come along to the hospital.
Hospital was very clean and modern, much better than my local hospital. I went with the Dr Acar package and I was whisked away to see him first out of our group. Couldn’t have been nicer and helped to put me at ease, he designed my new hairline and had a brief chat with me regarding my hair.

Then I had my bloods taken and then before photos taken, head was then shaved and it was ready to go through to start the hair transplant. The needle free injections were only 2/10 in pain but in my opinion they done very little in the way of numbing for the main injections which were sore, probably a 7/10. Technicians then started harvesting the grafts before Dr Acar came in to make the slit incisions on where these hair were going to be placed, then technicians placed the grafts in after.

Whole procedure took around 6/7 hours and I did not feel any pain after the injections, also the Xanax they give you really helped to calm me down and stop shaking. Everyone in the clinic were really helpful and nice and most spoke English.

Day 2 and 3 I was back to the clinic in the morning to have my hair washed and to pick up medication, I was free to explore Istanbul on day 2. I would 100% recommend the experience of going to turkey and also GMH’s service.

I spent months researching hair transplants in Turkey and came across get more hair. These guys were Uk based from the moment I contacted them I knew I’d found the perfect fit. I sent them
My photos over and they pretty much did the rest, sorted out the clinic (cosmedica) my hotel transfers answered any questions I asked them, constant support. I ended up meeting a couple of lads over there who were also booked through GMH and spent the next four days with them. We all said the same thing if we tried to explain how good the service was and cosmedica and all the doctors an techs we couldn’t do it justice 100% 5 star would recommend to anyone thinking about it GMH are the guys you need to see

Having previously had an Fue procedure in England 2yrs ago (which I wasn't happy with) I decided to look at Turkey to get more work done.
After much research, I chose cosmedica / gmh. I definitely made the right choice.
On arrival in Istanbul, my driver collected me and took me to the hotel. (a really nice hotel btw)
At check in, I immediately felt relaxed as there were many other patients staying there.
The next morning I was picked up and taken to the clinic which was only 5 minutes away. The clinic is very clean and modern. There was no waiting around, the staff got to work straight away and were all super nice & friendly.
The operation lasted about 7 hours but it honestly felt more like 3, I was completely relaxed throughout. The only slight discomfort is the injections at the start. After the op I was taken back to my hotel.
in the morning, I was collected and taken back to the clinic where I was checked over, cleaned up, and given some medication, then taken back to the airport for my return flight.
Everything went smoothly and now I can't wait to see the results.

I had spent two years looking into getting a transplant, I was very nervous about the whole thing. I came across GMH/Cosmedica on instagram and had confidence in them straight away, they had lots of live feeds to watch and it seemed like the place to go.

I’m just home in Scotland after getting my surgery on the 02/01/20 and could not be happier already! Everything went exactly as was promised from getting picked up at the airport to dropped of for departure! The surgery itself couldn’t have went better it was 100% pain free, getting the anaesthetic was a wee bit nippy but nothing uncomfortable. The clinic is very professional, clean, staff covering all languages and very friendly. I honestly couldn’t of asked for a better experience and highly recommended anyone that is affected by hair loss to go for it!

After doing about 12 months research I choose gmh/cosmedica to do my hair transplant and I couldn’t have made a better decision, I was a little nervous about going to turkey by myself but when I landed my nerves were put at ease, I was taken from the airport to a great hotel which has a really relaxing atmosphere, the next morning I was brought to the clinic by mustafa who is a really nice guy , the clinic is amazing and has a relaxing atmosphere, all the staff are so friendly and nice, dr acar is a great guy and gave me a high graft number for a very reasonable price, I can’t recommend gmh/cosmedica enough! My experience has been an excellent one with Mike and his representation of Cosmedica in Turkey.

I was sceptical to be honest about having my transplant done abroad, and anywhere other than Harley Street, London would have been a No No for me.

However my friend convinced me to try out Turkey and I soon got on to the internet searching for the best of the best! Many came up but Cosmedica in Istanbul, Turkey shone through for me. The reviews were almost too good to be true.

My friend told me that he had cousins who had been and had booked the VIP treatments and also friends of his cousins too.

With the unbelievable reviews and close family friends who had been, I needed to check it out for myself.

That's where Mike came into his own. He's the UK Representative for Cosmedica Turkey and boy was he a breath of fresh air. He was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect and when he didn't know he would find out and promptly reply with the answer within a few minutes. He was the pinnacle of customer service, as if he knew exactly all the worries and and fears one goes through when contemplating hair transplant surgery. He was amazing, answered questions immediately, very reassuring, no pressure tactics and very supportive. Everything one would need to feel comfortable about making such a big decison with a company in a foreign country.

Other than the flights, he arranged and took care of everything and I mean everything. Basically I felt I was on autopilot, from the arrival and pickup in Turkey to the 5 star hotel booking and taxi back to the airport, everything was surprisingly efficient and professional.

If you have any doubts, squash them now, I'm a sceptic and only believe when I see myself, and yes I can confirm that it is even better than you could hope for, yes that's right, better.

I must mention that his post surgery support has been magnificent. You know how you feel that something this good can't go on for much longer and that after you get back the aftercare can't be at the same high level as the pre and during surgery support, well it was.

If you thought you were anxious before the transplant, you're gonna be so much more after. You have so many questions even though they tell you exactly what's going to happen in the coming months, clearly laid out in their information pack, as well as telling you everything after the surgery.

But fear not, Mike is always there again to reassure you and help you through. I'll bet you'll have atleast 20 questions for him after you're back in the UK, even though you know the answers to all and more questions are written down and given to you in Turkey, you won't be able to resist asking him anyway. And that's where he once again comes in to his own. He is eager to reassure you and help answer those questions.

And that for me was the icing on the cake, rather than refer me to the information sheet with all the answers, he took the time to speak to me on the phone and Whatsapp. That's all I needed and now 2 month's in, I can happily report that everything I expected and more is happening just as he said it would. Don't get me wrong, there's alot of remembering to wash your hair everyday, take the right vitamins etc etc, but so far it's been worth it. Can't wait for the final results over the next 6 - 9 months!
