Highly efficient and friendly service at every level, from start to finish - from Andrew the move manager, to Michael, Celio and John Smith, the removals men. They packed, removed, and delivered all my stuff from Cambridge to the south of France with speed and professionalism, and were friendly throughout - even despite the super hot temperatures. I couldn't fault the service, or the value for money.

Martin gave us the very best service, attention and all the help we needed, he was fast gave us a reasonable price and easified the whole moving process dramatically for us. The collection/delivery teams were professional, fast and efficient, truly a 5 star company.

I used GMS for moving from the UK to Germany. They were vey professional.

Apart from delay in collecting in Germany (instead of 8-10am arrived following phone call at 1pm) the crew was very efficient and hardworking. Delivery in UK excellent and co-operative a very professional job. My only criticism in Germany was the driver claiming he had no street parking permit and I would pay any fine. In the end there was no issue but a little worrying as GMS had agreed to provide the permit.

The very best service from the first day and throu the whole procedure.

We tried 6 different companies to move from France during the C19 lockdown period. All the other companies had too many difficult conditions and added charges and their customer service was OK to poor.

Martin at GMS was genuinely interested in our needs, offered great advice and was completely flexible. Within a day of booking two lads (Dave and Chris) arrived to complete an assessment of our load and access - they just happened to be nearby and 'dropped in'. They left us with some materials and advised us on how to prepare our packing. We had 5 days to get it all together as we were able to slot into an empty return trip.

The uplift day ran very smoothly, Dave and Chris arrived early, set about their business - socially distant all the time - and were packed and gone in an amazing time frame. They took great care of our antique furniture and spent time getting the load right for the trip to the UK.

The delivery 6 days later was equally as smooth and they took great care with our newly painted walls and door frames and the unpacking of all our things. Nothing was damaged/broken or misplaced.
We would recommend GMS to anyone (and in fact our buyers are taking up our recommendation and getting GMS to move them to France).

I was in Johannesburg and needed to have personal effects moved from my apartment in London to a home in France. Clearly an undertaking of this nature has logistical and practical issues that have to be sorted out, Richard and Lisa at Global Moving Services were really professional. They responded very quickly to emails and had a very "can-do" attitude. I felt comfortable that they were going to finish the job and keep me appraised as matters progressed, This they did and their team delivered as scheduled in France. Both my sons in London and my Wife in France commented on how pleasant and helpful the Staff were.
The "hands-on " management approach from Global was re-assuring and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

From the start of organising my move, I felt very confident that my Move Manager James Hewing, was aware of the various potential problems involved in the move. He responded quickly to my e-mails and gave me advice and sorted out potential
difficulties due to the rural location of my move. The pick up from Scotland was carried out efficiently and the arrival in Spain was within the time that I was told it would be delivered, unlike other companies I have used. Everything seems to have arrived so I am very pleased.

I rarely write reviews but feel the service I got from Andrew and his team warranted the effort. Moving 12000 miles to New Zealand away from family is always going to be stressful. Global provided clear advice about insurance and how the process works, gave me a detailed quote which included everything except customs fees. When I asked them to dispose of my vacuum cleaner as i hadn't been able to wash it for customs they cleaned it! From collection to delivery this end everything was managed brilliantly. Constant communication throughout. Every person involved was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. A few days after collection my goods were on their way. On delivery their costs included all unpacking and heavy lifting What they didn't know was that my husband is seriously ill and their help made a big difference. I struggled to find a company I could trust after being seriously let down by the local company I'd used previously. Their packing was clearly carefully done, despite taking out their insurance no claims were needed. My high value items were incredibly well padded and protected. I unreservedly recommend Global on my experience and will definitely be using them for the return trip.

Professional door to door packing & unpacking service from Italy to Australia. Responsive, affordable & cleared the goods through customs & quarantine. Apartment sized move with furniture and many fragile items. Fragile items were really well packed & survived the trip. We weren’t there for the packing but all went well. Recommended.

I was moving an apartment full of household goods, paintings and small furniture, all special treasures from years of staying in Switzerland. The move was coming back to the US. I was arranging this move for my parents an elderly couple who really did not have any idea of how to go about this situation. Initially, I was unsure of what to do and how to pick a company. I got a lot of quotes and talked to many many movers. The quotes ranged in price. It then came down to other reviews and the personal contact. Global moving Services was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but they were the most personable. Raj was patient with me and was able to constantly help with this move. This move was not an easy one considering I was arranging this from the US and then trying to appease my parents. Raj was amazing! Bottom line, Raj sealed the deal for me. She was able to answer all of my questions, take my constant calls, keep me sane especially dealing with my parents and accommodate the dates that the move had to take place. Once we had signed the contract, then the move happened. The guys that came were professional and made sure all of the items were wrapped and secure in the boxes. The guys itemized every thing. My parents did not have to lift a finger. I am sure my parents were nervous as this was happening (I was not there during the actual packing) but after the movers left my parents felt their precious items were safe. They were comforted by this. On the other end of the move, the goods arrived in the States with no issue. The company handled everything arriving through customs and arranging for when the movers can bring the items to the final location. The household goods arrived in perfect shape, there was no item broken. Best decision I had ever made! So in sum, if you are looking for a mover, this company is awesome. Raj was amazing. Do not waste your time, I would highly recommend this company. This company is above board and they will really help to accommodate your requests. I can not thank them enough.

Whilst my move from Spain to UK was only a part load, it was something I had never done before, but this is their business, with very competitive prices, and it was carried out with all the professionalism and skill that you hope and expect. My dedicated move manager, Richard Dumbill was always available to answer anything, no matter how dim, and very reasssuring. The two removal lads, David and son Mark, were the real stars, they went above and beyond, with nothing was too much trouble. A first rate top notch service from start to finish, highly recommended

I approached Global Moving Services with a really short deadline to remove my things from Sweden to the UK. Andrew and the team couldn't be more helpful and attentive. They sorted out the removal in a really short notice. I was kept in the loop via phone and email and the delivery was arranged quite quickly. The delivery team was thoughtful, respectful and helpful, they even brought cling paper to avoid staining my carpets!
Overall I was really impressed and satisfied with the removal, especially when considering their quote was the most competitive I could find.

My move from the South West of France to the North of England went very smoothly. Communication with the company was easy and I received any information I needed very quickly. Good prices compared to other companies. The actual removal guys were amazing !

There seems to be trouble with coordination between the UK office and the Netherlands offices. The actual moving staff were very good, polite, friendly and helpful. However there was only one man in the truck sent to my home in Germany -which did not really seem to be adequate. Staff seemed to face challenges caused by poor coordination by the two offices. This considerably impacted and slowed service provided to the customer. also I understood that my belongings would be wrapped for shipping by the company. I was advised by the British office that they would not be wrapped. So I obtained materials myself, at the last minute, taking time off work, only to learn when the moving crew arrived that they had come prepared and expecting to pack all of my belongings .

Our Move-Manager, David Bell was first class at keeping us informed and sorting out any queries or problems. I would recommend them and be happy to use them again. At first it was a bit confusing as although our initial contacts were with David we were then assigned a new move-manager and a couple of days later a third one. All in all a positive experience though the removals pick up was excellent. Our goods went from France to storage in England before being delivered by another removers to Ireland. Everything arrived altho a little battered.

David did his research on the logistics of how they would get to me through the tiny village roads before calling me (the only company of six who did this!). I was impressed with the level of service from the start. Collection from two places in two counties was not a problem. The furniture arrived in France on the pre arranged date. The guys on both sides of the Channel were polite and helpful, even when I changed my mind about which room things were going in! No it the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and I would highly recommend.
