I am new to Good Club. My review is based on my experience so far..
I placed my first order on the 13.3.2021 and was expecting a delivery on 18.03.2021. I was really low on my oatly milk, so my delivery had to arrive...as i was self isolating!
But I received an email on Thursday morning (18.3.2021) to inform me that my order had been cancelled as the items were out of stock.
I checked the website and stock was available.. I swiftly emailed Carly who apologised for the inconvenience and arranged an immediate next day delivery.. Order arrived the following day without any issues.
Eco-friendly boxes are good! Thumbs up!

I have since referred 2 friends and received 2 voucher codes.. However, you can only use one voucher code per order (as advised by Carly when queried). No where in their terms and conditions can I see this. So really, although they are receiving new customers via your referral, you don't benefit as you should!

Based on the whole experience, great response times however given the cancellation of my order, last minute, they could have considered a good will gesture by allowing me to use 2 codes on my next purchase or equivalent.
I am reluctant to refer to new friends and family as I'm still to understand how I will gain. Your referral gain instant benefits however you now been to wait for 1 month until you can use your voucher.. By then you are signed into a paid membership.

I was looking for something like Good Club for a long time, with healthful, low-waste food at good prices. I am very happy to have found them! The products are good and the list keeps growing, and the delivery and pick-up went well. I highly recommend Good Club.

I loved the idea of Good Club - a zero waste, organic, planet friendly company... I ordered and the order has NOT arrived. DPD has said that the item has confirmed that the parcel has not been received from GC for delivery. Despite the fact I sent numerous messages/emails yesterday [and today] to Good Club. NOTHING!
It is clear that they do not monitor their emails or Chat effectively and I can see that messages from 24 hours ago have not even been read.
There is NO phone line to ring either.
In effect, no redress.
However, despite not receiving any goods I have been charged for them, as I can see it has been processed on my AMEX card. Really dreadful experience and I'm wondering when/if they will even contact me.
Order number: CNCDNK7DQT.

You’ve changed the way I shop. Combined with a veg box, I only need to do a small shop in person once a week for tofu etc. I love the zero packaging range and I’m really excited it is now extended to include herbs and spices. I’ve found new products with you too eg compostable sponge scourers. Thank you.

I was a bit hesitant at first because of a £40 yearly membership and some not great reviews I read. But so far I had 2 deliveries from Good Club and I have been very happy with them. I love the fact that I can buy things packaging free, which is my main reason I joined it. This is the future for this planet. The delivery service was also great: orders came exactly when expected, brilliant reusable packaging, boxes collected next working day. I also think the product range is rather good already and I see it being expanded with time. Also, thanx to the webinar GC organised for members I am learning about ecological and socially just investing now. It all really makes me feel a bit better about this world. So all great so far and I hope it’s going to stay this way.
A very happy customer.

I've been getting one order a month from Good Club for about 6+ months now and absolutely love the service. Initially it was just my excessive oat milk needs that I planned to sort via GC, but have now been adding quite a few of their zero waste products as the range keeps expanding - oats and grains and banana chips (so many banana chips!!) etc. I've really appreciated the improvements to the packaging over the last few months - even the cable ties are reusable - and this just seems like a really good idea that is being really well executed, by a team who clearly really care about what they're doing.

I decided to trial this for a year - and so far (2 orders in and a 3rd on the way) I'm very happy. The box and tags have been dead easy for me, arrived on time, collected on time (although a friend's was 24 hours late).

I buy a lot of plant based and eco friendly products, so this makes absolute sense for me - from a values point of view, pricing and driving to the best/most cost effective shop (30 + minutes away).

If you care about the planet, hopefully the small glitches (that will get ironed out) will be worth it to make a difference to our planet.

Being a member of Good Club has been my best decision this year. Shopping with them has changed the entire way I look at buying food. It has allowed me to reduce the eco-anxiety I get from shopping in mainstream supermarkets and purchase low waste products at an affordable rate. I will continue to support them and their mission to reduce waste in all walks of life.

Good Club provide a fantastic zero waste and ethical product delivery service and I’m so glad I found it! The product range is brilliant and I can get most of what I need on my zero waste shopping list. Plus they’re always expanding their products and asking customers for suggestions on what to stock. The delivery and packaging return system is so useful, especially for me at the moment being heavily pregnant and not having many immediately local options for zero waste shopping. I can’t recommend highly enough.

I love the ethos behind Good Club. As I no longer live in a city it’s harder to get hold of quality, eco-friendly, free from and natural products. Then I discovered Good Club! The way it’s set up is great, the deliveries and sustainable packaging all work well and they’re constantly tweaking and improving the service. It feels very good to be part of Good Club!

Bad club. These guys don't hold any of the stock themselves, or manage there own deliveries and so expect multiple problems that they will just blame on a third party. They show items as in stock that aren't to push you to buy, and then notify you just before your delivery that the items were out of stock. You will have to pay then for an additional delivery. Your order can be delivered by multiple different people throughout the day, and sometimes you can wait a week for someone to come and collect the boxes out your garden. Items are like super super expensive!

I canceled my membership today and will not miss this company.

Decent prices while on free trial. Once you are a paying member, prices will be the same as a supermarket when you factor in the membership charge.
Boxes are a nightmare. To open the tags, to close the tags, and to put the box out. It never got collected on allocated day. The day after, box was there in the morning still, and now when driver is here, box has gone awol. It was so windy today.
The box idea is a bad one. It is a hassle. The driver ringing my bell, the putting out the box, the non collection. It's all too much. It's not saving the environment. Think about all the gas the driver needs to come back and forth for a single box? One plastic bag I could use heaps of times. It's less impact than all the pollution from courier driving around. Also zero hassle.

Joined in December 20 on a 30 day trial, after 30 days then I would be charged the membership fee of £30, the membership offer was 1 free delivery per month which included NO minimum spend. The item that I buy happens to be bulky. First month no issues, paid the £30 at the end of December, comfortable to continue. Next order arrived with no issue at the start of January after my membership fee had been processed, the orders are always just less than £40 due to storage issues. On the 3rd order, totally out of the blue on the final order page before paying 'you need to spend a further £4 to meet the minimum spend of £40'. Where did that come from? I did not continue with the order. I had received no notice or notification at all and it was clear to see that various parts of the web site information did not match up. I tried politely telling them that they could not alter the T/C of my membership without notification. Load of tosh as a reply - 'you could of course order every other month or share your order with a next door neighbour'. Urm, no you need to comply with your membership terms. Contacted CAB who immediately sent a report to Trading Standards. I was supplied with a 'notice letter' to send, i.e. return your terms of membership to those originally quoted as 1 free delivery pm with NO minimum spend. I posted it to the 'return good' address as (still) quoted on their web site: Unit L.07, Pop Brixton, 49 Brixton Station Rd, London SW9 8PQ. The letter was subsequently returned as 'gone away'. I then emailed the letter and received a reply and a full £30 refund quite recently. They have also confirmed that my account is closed. Beware of any company who thinks that they can simply alter such things as membership rules to totally suit themselves and disregard members rights, regardless of the reasoning behind it.

I inadvertently signed up for this club. I thought I was just buying bulk oat milk as a one off. I had no idea they were going to take a £40 membership from my debit card. I run a very busy business myself and don’t have time to read junk mail, so I just thought “Damn it, I’ve been duped and will just have to go a long with it”. First 2 orders arrived fine and were left at our gates. Third order due Thursday evening. No show. Text received to say arriving Friday. No show. Driver apparently came but we were out so he didn’t leave it for us as before. We have never met the driver before nor had to confirm or sign for delivery. So there’s something mendacious about this 3rd order. Apparently arriving Monday now, too late for what we needed it for.
I don’t particularly like the range of GC it’s quite dull. Like I said, I thought I was buying milk. Didn’t expect it to cost me £40 extra. I’ll be closing my account once my tardy order has arrived, particularly because the customer service person blamed me for not leaving delivery instructions, which I find quite rude and irresponsible on her part (the use of emojis in customer service emails, is a very lazy and disingenuous tactic, by the way).
This business has been set up without proper planning. I’d be interested to read their business plan, if indeed they have one.

Good idea that is executed so poorly. No problems dropping off the items. The collection of the crates however just never happened. Contacted Good Club multiple times and they rescheduled multiple collections but it never happened. We live in a small flat and just do not want or have the space for large crates hanging around for weeks - they ended up in the bin (not exactly eco friendly is it!) because Good Club just could not sort it out. Further to this, they kept without my permission adding our various email addresses to their database for generic emails. You need consent for this FYI Good Club! Wont be using again as it just wasn’t worth the genuine hassle.
