Buyer beware!!!!!!! Ordered ballasts that according their paperwork was shipped out right away. Waited three weeks before they were shipped, even after several requests for tracking number. Then the incorrect ones were shipped. They issued RMA but would not call or reply my inquiries for proper ballast shipment. This is the worst customer service I have ever received.
The first person I talked to at GoodMart said that they will not allow an exchange, and I would have to order the part I wanted. He did not offer to process a return of the original order. Someone followed up by emailing me the part number for the correct size (which I already knew), and reiterated that I would have to place a new order. She did not mention the possibility of returning the original order either. I finally checked their return policy, because not allowing returns seemed ridiculous. They do accept returns, charging a 20% restocking fee if it's the customer's mistake.
When I wrote and explicitly requested a return, it was processed immediately.
1) It would have been nice if when I asked about an exchange, I had been told "you can't exchange it, but you can return it for a refund and place a new order" rather than "you can't exchange it, you have to place a new order" -- TWICE!
2) There would be fewer customer mistakes if the product description were displayed in the shopping cart or in the order confirmation. It is not shown in either place.
One had a large chip approx. 3 inches by 1 inch missing. There was no extra plastic in the carton so this didn’t happen during shipping. Careless handling ??
The panels that were shipped were 46.5 by 23.75. That’s an inch too big. I specifically ordered the 22.75 size to fit in my tenant’s fixtures. The ones shipped did not fit. Email to customer service went unanswered. Too much hassle to box and return, plus tenant wanted replacement. I had to find a shop and have them remove an inch off each and every one of the panels. They charged me $3 per panel. Plus all my time.
GoodMart price was considerbly higher than Home Depot or Lowes. I could have bought from one of the local big box stores and paid the same $3 to have them cut to size. And my tenant's wpould have been happier a week earlier.
Great light, can't go wrong, easy to install, just hooK up to a 120V outlet, your entire 500 square feet deck is lite up like daylight.

Unfortunately, the dining room and my computer room have chandeliers which use 6 and 4 candelabra (small) base bulbs, 240 and 160 watts respectively. For 2 years I searched on the Internet for the smaller candelabra base bulbs which could output 55 watts of incandescent light but only use 14 watts. Home Depot sells fluorescent candelabra base bulbs but they only use 9 watts, not enough light.
I finally found GoodMart.COM and their Technical Consumer Products (TCP) offerings. TCP has fluorescent candelabra base bulbs which use 14 watts and output sufficient light. GoodMart.COM sells two different versions, 2700 and 3500 Kelvin color output. I bought the standard, warm white, 2700 Kelvin (10714C) bulbs. They only sell these TCP bulbs in cases of 12 and each bulb costs $7.39. These bulbs only use 14 watts, throw little heat, and last 8000 hours. The chandelier in the computer room is on 8 hours a night so I expect to save money over the long run. Instead of using 160 watts and having the air-conditioner on, we only use 56 watts. Initially I got flickering in one socket on the chandelier no matter which bulb I used. I installed a small surge suppresser and I no longer get any flickering. I have been using them for 7 months and none of them have failed yet.
Regrettably, when I received the case from GoodMart, 5 of the 12 bulbs were broken. GoodMart does not actually ship the TCP products. GoodMart takes the order and TCP actually ships them from their warehouse. TCP only placed a UPS sticker on the case and shipped it. They did not use another box with insulation. I complained to GoodMart and TCP sent me 6 replacement bulbs. If you do buy TCP bulbs from GoodMart, call your order in and request TCP use an extra box for shipping. Otherwise, your product may arrive damaged. Because GoodMart has the best price and their shipping fee is only $5, I would buy from them again (this time over the phone of course).
Sincerely,
Daniel Martinez.
