Great tour we saw a lot of Chicago in just 4 hours. Mitch the bus driver and guide was very knowledgeable on Chicago history. He was very sociable and funny and made the ride very enjoyable.

The 130 Chicago North Side Tour on Thursday July 19 was cancelled. We were never notified and found out when we got the bus. I finally figured out I had to go to the hotel gift shop to find tour agent. When I got there she was away from the desk. Requested money back and have heard nothing since. Was supposed to hear from Tiffany. Please let me know how I can get a refund.

Driver and speaker need to be two different people. We will think long and hard about repeating a tour like this. Driver can’t focus on group and information sharing. This tour was just okay.

I paid for the grand tour at a cost of $73 but I was only given a partial North Side tour so therefore I want my refund for the additional money I paid for the grand tour I think the difference is $20 as for the driver needed to be a little more knowledgeable about the history of the area of which we were touring that's the reason I take Gray Line tours but this driver though nice young man was not very knowledgeable of the history of the area

It was a good tour that let us know more about Chicago as this was my first time here. With my parents, it was easier that just sat on the bus relaxed and kept watching all the attractions. The driver also bought us to taste the Chicago hot dog, so we really enjoyed this tour a lot.

Our driver was at nice as one could be so we were happy with that. But the only thing that was troubling was the amount of information about restaurants around all of Chicago and little by comparison of information about particular sites and occurrences in Chicago, whether historical or current. We have taken several similar bus tours of major cities and we would have say that this was the most uninformative of all.

Examples: No mention of the amazing Chapel added to the 24th(?) floor of the 1st United Methodist church by the widow of the founder of Walgreens, stalwarts of Chicago, upon his death. Free tours at 2pm weekdays, including the awesome views from the outdoor patio of the pastor's manse on the 22nd floor.
The largest, spectacular Tiffany stained glass dome in the world, and an amazing 2nd dome, in the Chicago Cultural building, free to see.
The amazing frescoes at the 2nd floor lobby of the Palmer Hotel. The amazing wood carved paneling at the 2nd floor lobby and bar at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel-also free.

The drivers need a new script!!

Windows were so heavily scratched so you couldn’t see through them, no narration from the driver and I had already been to 2 of the 3 locations we drove through. Wish we had more time at zoo lights.

Tour guide was courteous, but the tour information provided was flat, uninteresting, and in several instances wrong. (Louis Farrakhan is not the "leader of the Muslims," he is the leader of the Nation of Islam. The Federal Reserve is not "one of the largest banks in Chicago," it is the Federal Reserve Bank, an agency of the U.S. government. A Jewish temple is not a "church.")
The guide seemed well-versed in shopping malls and pubs, but had very little information about the history of the city, its neighborhoods, architecture, or even music. One little mention of blues at Chess Records and the park next door, but that was it.
The guide also kept talking about how much better the city was in the summer, and how much prettier it was. Ok, but we were there, paying for a tour, in the winter. Tell us interesting things about the city that don't change with the seasons.
All in all, a very disappointing experience.

I booked for 7/29/19, but got a confirmation number for 7/30/19. When I arrived on 7/29/19, I had to buy 2 more tickets. Your office staff was not helpful. The tour was excellent. I contacted the phone number and explained my situation. I was given a refund for 7/30/19. The driver was excellent with the tour of Chicago.

Our driver/tour guide, Anton, was informative, entertaining, helpful. In concert with the magnificent city, Chicago, Anton created a wonderful experience for us! Anton is a great representative for Gray Line Chicago. Give him a RAISE! ! ! !

In the first 5 seconds of starting the tour our driver stopped on the side of the road and let 5 random people on and told them it would be $25 cash for each adult (we had JUST paid $40 for each of us!) and the kids would ride free (we had JUST paid $29 for 2 kids each!) Driver/Tour Guide told us very little about what we were seeing. He was most interested in High Hefner’s mansion and spent the most time there. He also stopped the tour so a toddler could go to the bathroom but didn’t stop for the scheduled 20 min period during the tour and our entire tour was 1/2 hour short. Windows are steamed up and incredibly hard to see out of which is the point of a tour. Do not recommend thus tour.

The driver was/guide was very knowledgeable however, the PA system was not functioning properly and the voice of the tour guide/driver was not clear.

Loved the tour guide but unfortunately there were issues with the first bus which delayed our start and limited our time. They also didn’t have Christmas music because 93.9 had already changed their music.

The guide was excellent but it was so hard to hear what he was saying with the windows in the bus open. I wish there was a way to hear through a headset or something.
