Beyond that, you CANNOT review a Groupon merchant unless the voucher has been “redeemed” and if it has been “redeemed” even if you haven’t actually used it, you cannot get a refund or trade it in. So, no review doesn’t actually mean people just haven’t gotten around to reviewing them; it means that customers can’t even get in touch with the vendor to use (or not use) their Groupon at which point they would be able to leave a negative review. There is NO other way to leave a review, like if you’ve been swindled by Groupon’s continuing to offer the vouchers they know are not redeemable in order to earn other customers not to purchase!
It is important to mention that one of the biggest complaints about Groupon is that they give Groupon Bucks (their currency) instead of refunding your credit card because it’s past the three days to request a full refund. If you accept this offer, you will likely lose your positioning with your credit card company, but if you request a merchant credit through your credit card company, giving your bank or credit card company, who actually values your business, the opportunity to fully express the issues you’ve experienced with Groupon’s new poor business practices, you are far more likely to get a full refund through your consumer credit rights, than you are expecting Groupon to do the right thing and stand behind their product.

4. Groupon accruing interest on my payment for goods purchased and not received neither any form of information offered as to what has happened or when items will be received
5. Chat helpline was ended without any information as to what has happened to my goods
It’s absolutely frustrating as to why such a company is unable to relay and communicate informatively
Prior and after checkout I was not given neither was I offered the service of receiving my goods and then deciding to pay them when I was able to ??

Once I told Groupon they would not refund my credit card and would only give "Groupon Bucks",

I wanted the mirror it wasn’t my fault it arrived damaged because it was poorly packaged.
Ridiculous they can scam people out of money. Spoke to an online adviser and I asked to put a complaint in. They said they was putting me through to a manager but then ended the chat!! Very rude. Will never use again and am deleting the app from my phone. Steer clear

I have written a bad review about them previously and now have another.
Due to a previous bad experience, I was given £140 in Groupon credits (after they wrongly took my money and would not refund me).
I was not informed that my credits would run out within 12 months (which would have been in July 2020) and have now been told that my credits have expired and that I am not entitled to an extension of any kind due to the pandemic.
This company are absolute crooks and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of them. So many bad reviews!!!! Mine is just another to add to the list.
