This is William Woodruff and I just want to express my experience with Tammy one of the individuals that does the hair and I want to say she is going to fantastic great job with me and she helped me get the best out of my hair for me and these she displayed that only courtesy but she displayed her experience and skill pertaining to the her are we highly recommend her to anyone for a great job an experience and for the money you can't go wrong she'll tell you how to get the best out of your hair and her styling is fantastic she's there the please the customer and and to point out what will be the best by talking to them about what they want and how they want to look with the hair I highly recommend her cuz he's talented courteous and skillful

Is been 1.5 years since I started at Ann Arbor MI hair club. Most of my guy friends are 10-20 years younger than me. They all still have hair. Mine was receding rapidly. We are all bodybuilders together and i am the biggest and strongest. Also the baldest. I know i can't have my youth back but i looked 10 years younger before, now i look 20 years younger with hair. Not my opinion, others can't tell I am 62. I love styling it, looking at it and the feel of it. Can't be described how much more confidence I have. The whole crew at the Ann Arbor club are awesome. Kelly is my wonder woman. Love it!

I joined Hair Club about 40 years ago. My overall experience with this company has been excellent. I travel a lot, so I have been a member in several major cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Atlanta, and now Chesapeake, VA. Like many others, I was hesitant to make the leap, but I'm very glad I did. My 'secret' has been safe all these years, without incident. I don't think about hair loss at all and my hair always looks great. I look lots younger than my age, thanks to HCM. If you feel uncomfortable about hair loss, as I did, and you have $3000 or so dollars a year to contribute to the cause, I would definitely say, "Go for it". In the beginning, my hair loss wasn't super extensive, but no one noticed that I had 'extra' hair afterwards. :-). That was my biggest concern. However, the transition went exceptionally smooth. I just looked better and felt better about my self-image. Every work place has issues with supervisors, I imagine. But I have always been treated well at every HCM office. I really enjoy going in, chatting with the cute stylists and always come out looking supurb! I've been through many of the transitions, starting with a weave technique. The products (shampoo, etc) are a little pricy, but hey, you don't have to use them if you don't want. I use most of them because I like the products. While in LA, one of the stylist 'jumped ship' and started her own business. I liked her so I stayed with her a couple of years and she did well. I also lived in Japan for seven years teaching at a university and used a similar Japanese service while there, not HCM. They were also pretty good, but HCM is all-around better in my experience. They are professional and that means a lot to me. Every stylist I've had has had good technical skills as well as good public relations skills. They must have a good training program. I find their hair systems and products to be exceptional good. Hair Club has always been fair with me, helping me to get the right program that fits me and always offer good advice when I want to try something new, like change in hair color or style. I can't think of anything bad to say about this company and I'm one who can give out criticism easily when I don't like something. To recommend this company, for me is a no brainer. Stop worrying about your hair and go in for a consultation. Years later you will hardly remember any uncomfortable feelings about your hair. I'm at the Chesapeake office now. They are going through some changes now in staff, etc., but I have always found everyone friendly and professional there. I give this club my highest recommendations and I have a boat load of experience with them for over 40 years. Just do it!

Well I have been a client for over 10 years I am appalled that they are asking me to pay a monthly bill for a service that I have not seen for hair that I have not been given for color or services. The extension of the COVID-19 nonessential business to May 18 will now make it two months that I will not be able to go to hair club how is it possible that they have the right under the law to charge me? I failed to see how that is possible. I was told by one of the managers that unless I paid my bill I could not be given an appointment I wish to speak to someone on the executive level.

Oouuh reception....There is a lady called Ashley at Dallas branch...ooouuuuuu she has the worse personal relation skill.i cant believe they put her over the phone at the reception. She sounds as if she is always angry.

Have been a Client for over 25 years. The staff at the Northern Virginia location have always been fantastic, they deserve 5 starts and more. Great stylists Ross, Vania, Rondette, Corey, Maggie, Nikki and others never disappoint. The unusual situation that we live due to Covit19 and the required closing of all establishments has been hard for all of us members who rely on a very unique service from Hair Club. The center at Tyson has been able to assist me in the best feasible way that anyone can do given the situation while keeping the center closed. I was not very happy about the situation and the handling of closing but I realize the safety of everyone prevails. Silvia Kentes is the most efficient and personable manager Hair Club has ever had and was able to help me through the process of getting what I needed while the closing was in place. I have seen Silvia expanding her career at Hair Club - very well deserved.

I have been a client now for 32 years and so can honestly say that I have spent more money than almost any other person reviewing HCM. Obviously I’m still a client so have been overall satisfied through the years but let me share with you what I have noticed over the last year or two. The products have clearly gone down hill and I’ve had to completely replace the shampoo with my own this past year. The conditioner is excellent but the shampoo after about a week is almost impossible to massage through or comb through the hair. Thank God for the conditioner. My 2 biggest complaints though would be with the recent chemicals I’m being told that are used to perm or wave the system. They create a strong smell which NEVER really goes away during the weeks. I would describe them as smelling a bit like Fritos. My wife notices this smell in between visits. Mind you I am METICULOUS about keeping my system clean and have been a long time client so I KNOW more than any stylist, when my system has a different smell. THIS needs to change. Lastly Hcm needs to get some videos and actual clients willing to show off that new system they are offering. There is NOTHING I can look at and have had to order it BLIND hoping that it will look good. Dont pitch it unless you can Demonstrate it looking good on someone’s head. HCM is shut down due to Covid - and my husband was automatically charged for his treatment, which he could not have. They said they would not issue refund, and would see about future opening and charges. My sister-in-law owns a hair salon and didn't charge her customers for services scheduled, but not rendered due to shutdown. It's now about a month later, and his next scheduled appointment is coming up. I don't think they should charge him again.

This was one of the worst experiences of my 68 year old life! Every time you walk into their office it's like voluntarily subjecting yourself to a used-car salesman. Their whole goal is not to work to satisfy you, but to sign you up to one of their monthly, bi-monthly, semi-monthly, or some kind of regularly scheduled program. Until you sign a contract for one of their programs it's hard to impossible to get them to answer any of your questions. If I asked them what the weather was like outside, they'd say it depends on what program I sigh up for. They were constantly trying to get me to sign a contract for one of their programs. They got my hair color wrong twice (it's still wrong) and never refunded my money. They styled my hair the way they wanted to (twice) - not the way I asked to have it cut (twice). The second time I went there, I went into a private room, and one of their salesmen came in and gave me a lecture on tipping. How to tip, when to tip, and how much I'm expected to tip each time I come there. 15% was OK, but 20% or higher was expected. It doesn't matter what kind of service they perform (which was extremely poor to none) you're still expected to tip them! I went to their office in Tukwila, WA, and I'd recommend you stay as far away from them as you can! All they care about is your money - and definitely not their customers satisfaction!

I have been a Hair Club member for over 30 years and have been serviced in both Ohio and Massachusetts, the Elmwood Park location is the best by far. The receptionist/administrator Joann is professional, proficient and flexible a true professional.

My stylist Alicia is totally professional with a deep focus on ensuring you are totally happy when you leave your appointment! Her creative abilities and customer focus make coming to your appointment a satisfying experience. I would recommend Alicia to any new client!

I have been going to the location of Orchard and I-25 in Denver. Since I started close to a couple years ago, the communication has been poor. My hair is often ordered wrong, and recently, there’s been several stylists leaving due to management and how they’ve been treated. My stylist left and she was wonderful! I’m now with the main stylist eveyone sees as a new client. In my opinion she is extremely over-worked and taken advantage of by management as well.

My hair is very important to me since I have very little of my natural hair left.

I have been with hair club for over two years now and have had nothing problems. The "units" have not fit right, the front doesn't adhere in the front, the hair mats up and falls out so much that it's embarrassing! The office manager, who is no longer there, would constantly question/ imply that I was intentionally damaging the hair to get free services or would say that i wouldn't have those problems if i would upgrade my membership. So, because I didn't go with the one of the more expensive levels of membership, i get the crappy hair. I have purchased every product that they suggest in an effort to "fix" the hair from both product lines! I began with the Maxxam line and was told after I spent hundreds of dollars over a few months to stop using it and switch to the Trima product line. Now I have to change the type of hair i chose and hope it works better. I have yet to experience any real freedom since I am constantly concerned about it looking like a birds nest or cleaning up hair everywhere i go. The only reason i give two stars is because my stylist is great. She does all that she can, within the constraints placed on her, to improve the condition of and get suggestions about the hair. I give her 5 stars!! I'm trapped.

Been customer over 3 years now and am truly happy and 100x more content than with the hair transplants l had decades ago. The stylists are all professional but for me Zuki stands above them all. Whenever i have an issue or not pleased with procedure by another she jumps right in and immediately fixes what ever i am unhappy about. She is the best of the best in my opinion but all the girls know what they're doing so i say 5 stars for sure. My base is the San Diego salon in Mission Valley. Again well worth the cost for me......

I have been a member of hair club for several years now and for the past year I have been totally disappointed with the maxxam products.

We spend all this money on systems only to have all the moisture stripped away by the so called new and improved products. Which as a result end up ripping the hair out because you can't gat a brush through it, it is so dry!

I am also thinking that synthetic hair is starting to creep into the matrix. I hope when I get my hair tested I'm wrong, otherwise, I will be taking my well earned dollars elsewhere

I have a hairstylist, Farzana, in NYC that is, by far, the absolute best I have ever had. Each visit, when I think I can't get a better style than the one before, shocks me when I see that I get an even BETTER styling look. I am always thrilled when I see the results.........and.....she is gorgeous, to boot!

I have been a member for over 15 years, love my HC in Plymouth, Ma. The management & stylists are like family, most caring, compassionate people! They do everything they can to provide me with the best service, BUT they are given the products, shampoos, conditioners, etc to provide us,the clients. They are given the hair to provide to Us, the clients!!
Products have been horrible the last yr or so, which as we know is pricey enough,but when the products screw up your system, gets dry, unmanageable, to the point I have actually been asked for the 1st time,if I am wearing a wig!!! NOW, the owner is raising our rates!!! Excuse me! Really!! Shouldn't you make sure ALL the products are doing as promised, that we as clients are being provided everything as agreed too!!!
I have heard there are "new" products, shampoos, etc being provided, but honestly, I have been afraid to try them to put more $$$ out there!!
I am elderly, living on ssdi!!
How can you justify raising rates, with lousy products!!!
