I ordered two 3' x 5' Nepal rugs from handknotted. com at $700 total, which arrived surprisingly fast. However both rugs were full of rust and oil stains as if both rugs had been used in a car shop. At my immediate complaint I was told that I could return them for 10 % as the stain were supposedly visible in the pictures and if FedEx was supposed to pick them up at my door another $5 would be subtracted. What a scam!
I will attempt to steam clean them ad if that does not work, throw them away.

I have ordered 4 rugs from HandKnotted over the past week. I took advantage of the 10% new customer discount and the buy one-get one 10% discount for my first two. One of the first rugs was damaged prior to shipment and over the course of finding a replacement rug, I fell in love with an additional rug.
Kudos to Anya, Amina, and JoAnn (especially Jo, because she had to deal with my inability to do do basic math this week). Everyone worked to resolve my problem. Everyone was kind and eager to help. And unlike other companies I have dealt with in the past, this company was able to find my orders instantly in their systems and pick up where a previous phone call left off. Stellar customer service. Someone give JoAnn a raise!
Also, fast shipping and good work keeping me in the loop.
Yes. I now have three semi antique rugs.

I'm a bit of a collector and have spent tens of thousands on some special one-of-a-kind antique Persian rugs; and I'd do it again. This time I needed a colorful rug for our new sunroom and decided to go with a Nepali rug for just a bit over $1K. It is spectacular--beautiful vibrant colors and an unexpectedly plush thickness. Delivery was quick and the rug is perfect. We are extremely satisfied.

I was nervous about buying something as unique as a Persian rug online, but I was very pleased with the quality, price and speed of delivery. Have bought four rugs so far and pleased with them all. So much better than going to the local rug store. Size, knot count, and condition were exact.

This past year I have ordered two oriental rugs for my home. One works beautifully. The other didn't quite fit in with my decor, so I had to return it. But no problem. They arranged for the free pick up and return of that rug. I will gladly shop here again.

They advertise to have a phone number 24/7. And free return all lies. No one answers the phone always no one available to take your call. Didn’t respond to my email about returning the rug. Wrong description on line about the rug I order

I have four rugs now from handknotted and all have been exactly as described. I’m super pleased with all and really love the selection of vintage, antique and new rugs offered in a range of prices. I’d purchase from here again.

We ordered an alleged 11k rug for 5k. The site, handknotted.com, claimed that the rug was "brand new" according to the website. When it arrived, not only did it have a 3 inch hole in it, it was clearly a used rug with several stains. We also had the rug appraised and its actual value is estimated to be under 3k. It will cost about two hundred dollars to get the hole patched and more to have it cleaned. We have tried repeatedly to contact the seller with no response except an auto generated e-mail. We have attempted to call to get a return authorization number but have never received any answer. I have contacted my credit card company and filed a complaint. They are also doing business under the name esalerugs.com. Buyer beware.

Rug came one day later but only due to snow but right on time the next day.
It is the size as stated on the sight and beautiful!

I saw the pictures of the Kazak rug on line and thought it was beautiful. However, I was concerned that the colors would look different when it arrived. I called them and told them my concerns and they informed me that if i did not like it i could return within 30 days (call them and they would send a return shipping label). I went ahead and ordered and the rug is just as advertised....it is stunning.

I spent hours going through all the rugs close to the size I was looking for. I finally picked one, ordered and received it. It was as described and the colors I saw online were a very close match to reality. It's a great rug for a decent price.

Ordered 2 rugs on 2 orders.Both were well packed ,thoroughly clean and in very nice shape. Pricing very fair.
One suggestion;
I would like to see more accurate color rendition in photos .the main photo for our more expensive rug had accurate color but was slightly overexposed and warm.
Detail shots were underexposed and way too cool. More consistent,professional photos would help a lot.
