The rating for the electricity fuse box was disappointing as a 3, when compared with many other properties with the same fuse box were rated as a 2 on their home reports.

I had to wait a few days as my application had been put into the work basket of someone who was on holiday. I had to contact the estate agents to get things moving. However, the valuer who did come was excellent & dealt with things speedily.

I was disappointed in the length of time it took to receive an accurate home report, selling your home can be one of the most stressful in your lifetime and in my opinion there seemed to be a lack of urgency on their part.

Home report carried out 21 March
Not able to be published until 15 April due to errors on report which took several attempts to rectify, this was also day AFTER house was sold
The initial verbal report took 4 phone calls over 10 days before it was released to me

As this is the first time I have sold a house, I found the surveyor David Cuthbertson (I think was his name) to be very efficient and approachable. After noting all relevant information given, he then just carried out his survey. Any subsequent queries were dealt with promptly by Anne Sweeney who kept me in the loop.

Excellent service from surveyor and office staff but suffered a frustrating and worrying weekend when their survey reporting internet provider went down before I had a chance to report on survey.

Service was quick but surveyor advised certain things would not affect the rating (1-3) and on receipt of my home report it was the complete opposite to what was discussed? I then had to dispute these things in order to improve it, but in the end really dissatisfied, if it was not for my first viewer not looking at the report and purchasing the house then I would of moved estate agents

Nick from Harvey Donaldson & Gibson was excellent. He was very professional, polite, considerate and did a great job of our Home Report. He turned up bang on time and was super efficient. He was very quick in getting our HR to us; he got it to us that evening, much quicker than we had thought he would be. We would definitely recommend HD&G's services to others.
