This is a review of "Westminster To Greenwich River Thames Sightseeing Cruise".
Our school group boarded the boat at Westminster pier, point B, intending to visit the Maritime Museum at Greenwich. However, on arrival at London Bridge pier a member of the crew explained that even though our tickets were for Westminster to Greenwich, they were valid for a journey if 1hr duration only! He further explained that we could not continue to Greenwich unless we paid an additional £10 per person! Sadly we were forced to abandon the trip to the Maritime Museum, and instead took a second boat back to Westminster. (The one hour time limit was NOT made clear on the Headout.com website). Needless to say our afternoon sightseeing trip was ruined, leaving the children very disappointed.

Furthermore, the commentary was unprofessional, yet surprisingly a bucket was passed around for passengers to make a donation. Shouldn't the commentary should be included in the ticket price?

Disappointingly Headout.com have so far failed to give a satisfactory response to my refund request. Will not be using them again in future.

Still waiting on promised refunds over 6 weeks ago - and now dont seem to be replyng to emails. If we ever travel again we would use one of the companies that have given us our refunds.

On the 30th of March I asked for a refund, due to Covid-19, the event was cancelled. After several emails and promises to pick the refund up with "the highest priority", nothing happened since! It is almost June and no reaction at all anymore. This is really a scam.

Received a cancellation notice for a show in London originally scheduled in late March, which was understandable. Then received another note offering 25percent more as xredit, but I requested for cash refund. i was expecting this by this Tuesday according to their note, but received today another note asking if i want to keep it as credit otherwise will take 2 to 4 weeks....wonder what was the time I took to read their note and to show my intention for refund.
Anyways, if only anyone from Headout will be commenting on this, no need to put any excuse or status of yoir escalation, but please send me a confirmation for refund. Thank you.

I have been back and forward with Headouts for a WHOLE month regarding the cancellation and refund of 2 experiences in Italy! They sent me an e-mail at the beginning of the month confirming the cancellation and the issue of the refund of one of the experiences but until this moment I still didn't receive it and now they are saying it can only be issued after the experience date, which is NOTHING consistent with what they told me before, SEVERAL times. Regarding the 2nd experience, they say they have to wait to see if the venue is going to be close (in 5 days), which is not coherent with their OWN POLICY in the Headouts website. Absolutely inconsistent and unprofessional, since not responding to e-mails for 2 weeks to keep on changing the information and not issuing refunds when they told me they would. NEVER USING AGAIN!

Booked a Seine River Cruise with champagne for 8th April which obviously didn’t go ahead due to coronavirus. I have emailed this company twice to ask for a refund, which they promised. They are now retracting that statement and providing me either with an extension to the original booking (doesn’t say how long for) or head out credits. HEADOUT YOU ARE BREAKING THE LAW. I AM ENTITLED TO A REFUND FOR MY BOOKING - NOW GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

Got e reply from HEADOUT saying they have processed are refund on the 9th April so I rang my bank this morning oh and to my surprise (not ) NO REFUND and no pending refund with the reference we gave them . HEAD OUT are quick to take your money but please dont expect a refund if the event or day out or travel is cancelled because no refund coming just read reviews about head out on trip advisor its definitely NOT just me that has had problems with headout ps. I would sooner do without than book with headout again

I was promised my refund 14 days after the date of the cancelled show and it has been more than one month now. I have sent an email and I have not had a reply. Next time I will go directly to the venue for bookings - not good!
Please refund my payment ASAP!!

I have been waiting for a refund for 2 month, which was offered to me in March, because my event in London got cancelled due to Covid-19. I tried to contact Headout through e-mail multiple times, but got no response. A month ago, got another general e-mail, stating that they will give me a refund soon, but a month later, still nothing!

I have previously left 2 negative reviews. These are now deleted as you have finally "done right by me" as promised. Thank you.
Whilst I appreciate for a lot of entertainment companies this has been a hugely difficult time, please remember that it is for some of your customers too. I don't feel I should have to have left negative reviews for you to acknowledge that your supplier had already confirmed to me that you had received my refund. However, the matter is now resolved and I sincerely hope the refund appears in my account.
Overall review, could do better.

I paid 90£ for two London show tickets. They'd have cost me 75£ if bought at the theatre : 15£ fee!

I had 2 experiences booked in Rome during the lockdown. I was told in March I would be getting a refund. I then had an email to say they have issued credits but I can request a refund I requested this refund on the 11th April and I still haven’t received it. I’ve had no reply to my last 3 emails and the refund request keeps returning to credits. Really disappointed with the service and lack of communication.

I went to Italy with my mum back in March this year, and bought tickets for the Borghese Gallery from Headout but unfortunately on the morning of turning up to the gallery it had closed due to COVID19.
Since then I have contacted Headout on at least 4 occasions, each time being told that I will get a refund and hear from them in 72 hours or less. IT IS NOW MAY and I have received NOTHING. They don't even send you updates, just ignore you.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am unimpressed and disappointed about their level of customer service and will certainly not be recommending them unless something changes.
UPDATE- I have increased this to 2 stars because after this review I got an email saying a refund would be in my account within 2-7 days. 2 weeks later still nothing so I had to contact them AGAIN and they said to give it another 48 hours. Finally received a refund on the 25th May.

Back in February I booked tickets for the Uffizi gallery in Florence for myself and my daughter. We were going to visit in March, but Covid 19 meant that the museum closed a day or so after arriving in Italy. I contacted Headout on our return and was told by email on March 13th that the refund would appear in my account within 2-7 days. It is now May and nothing has been refunded. I’ve contacted Headout but am getting no response. I’d read reviews before using this company and all looked ok, that’s not the case anymore. If you want to be sure of being safe in your bookings, unless they change their customer treatment STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
If anything changes I will gladly change my review, until then it’s a one star, would be less but that’s lowest I can give.
