I have been purchasing items from Hobbylinc for a year now, approximately 10+ times. I am into O Scale trains, 1.72 scale World War II airplanes and 1.700 scale military ships. Hobbylinc's prices cannot be beat, but that is far from the only reason this company is tops in my book. Their selections in so many categories are awesome! Often offering multiple choices of manufacturers for the same item. Also, Hobbylinc keeps you informed of the progress of your order, the shipping of it and if an item in your order is backorded, they will ship everything else in your order and then your back ordered item as soon as it is in stock and that portion of your order is shipped free to you. Of all the orders I have received, all are packed extremely well and actually delivered on time or sooner. I have spoken to their customer service/order line a few times, and the associates are always helpful, friendly and strive to make sure you are informed and satisfied. I have been a loyal costumer of this company for so many years but it also has gone worse by the years as a costumer service, stock items and variety of those. I did place an order for some kits about 8 months ago but items just became available now, well, price has changed to higher and they wont honor the original price by not fulfilling the last 2 items from my large order. This company has lost one more costumer, me. I will take my business some place else.

I've always been into scale models because of the history behind them.Growing up I served papers/cut lawns just to support this hobby.Now being a old man I still try to keep up with this hobby.Times have changed.I used to go to my local hobby shop,along with other local stores.They don't exist anymore. I'm starting to order models from them, which upon opening a package, we had 10s of 10s of ants coming out of the box. My wife goes to break down the box and another bunch of ant came out. Now we might have to get someone in here to spray.

In today's business world where profit maximization techniques rule and where companies dictate the quantity and appearance of products they offer that has even crept into the hobby industry including JTIM or Just in Time Manufacturing Techniques. So, it was a pleasure to do business with a family owned company with which in general I have had little experience. I had been looking for an HO interior for my MOPAC Eagle passenger car for some time since IHC had gone out of business a number of years ago when I stumbled upon Hobbylinc. I was surprised to find that they manufactured simple passenger seats as back in the days of real American rail service and for only $5.89 plus shipping which was $6.00 a bit pricey but I got the seats at a 19% discount. I couldn't believe it because other hobby outlets were gouging, I mean charging far more and offering less quality because typically IHC interiors when still around had to be trimmed to fit older style passenger cars properly. These didn't. So, I thought this was a pretty good deal and ordered a set of blue seats (Blue, green, brown and red are available) on Nov 12th, 2019. I got a prompt email from them informing me that my order was received and to my further surprise it shipped the next day with a USPS tracking number! Delivery was guaranteed by 8:00 PM on Saturday Nov 16th. I was further surprised to find the order in my mailbox on Friday afternoon Nov. 15th. Opening the package I found 36 blue seats that could be properly aligned with armrests facing towards the center of the car. The seats are pretty good quality and can be further detailed with typical model paints. I have to rate Hobbylinc as a five star service operation.

I've been buying from Hobbylinc for many years and have always found their prices hard to beat. My only negative comment is that from order to their shipping date can take days. Maybe they should hire more help in the shipping dept.

DONT ORDER FROM HOBBYLINC...I used to order from them alot...new management--they failed to deliver the items and they wont resend...You want to give business to smaller vendors...but they just dont have the service of Amazon.

Where do I begin? I placed an order on 8/10 and it didn't ship out until 8/16!!! How does a business like this operate??? All my items were in stock...it shouldn't take 4 business days (There was a Saturday & Sunday between the 10th to the 16th) for in stock items to ship out. I also paid for Priority shipping....but Hobbylinc and their infinite wisdom shipped it First Class Package. I'm sorry, but If I pay for a service, I expect that service. Third, I ordered K&S brass angle; Hobbylinc decided to shove these into a box they weren't meant to fit in and lovingly curved them to the point of almost being unusable. Their idea of packing material is popped air bags. Brilliant. What an absolutely embarrassing company to do business with.

This site is really my only online choice! read some other reviews and yes, shipping can be slow, that's your choice-you can pay for faster shipping! I try to plan ahead and the standard shipping is fine! Also have had good results with customer service inquiries. If a popular item is out of stock, just click the e-mail me when in stock feature it works! Great job Hobbylinc employees!

Found them online searching for paints when I couldn't go to the store. Their selection is amazing and the prices are better than any other store, including big name retailers, that I could buy online. I have shopped with HobbyLinc multiple times since and plan to keep buying my model supplies from them.

I'm very impressed with Hobbylinc customer service. My order was lost in the mail and even though Hobbylinc wasn't obligated to replace the item they sent me another kit anyway. They'll be getting all of my business in the future.

Very disappointing ordered product Dec 15 apparently on back order that's fine haven't heard a thing back to date although my charges have gone through customer service not the greatest don't know if I will use hobbylinc again

I have bought close to 75 model kits from this company over the last year and a half. So far their service has been five star. I wish they were a little faster with the processing of the payment but that is a minor thing. Only time I had a problem with them was one item did not show out of stock but when I ordered it that is what came up. They shipped the rest of my order and kept the other on back order. It came in stock about a week later and they shipped it out. No problem. Will continue to use them as they have a large selection of the type of kits I am interested in. Would tell anyone to give them a try you won't be disappointed.

My first experience with this company and I was impressed. Good selection of items. Competitive pricing. Easy online shopping. My first order was received earlier than predicted and in good condition. Overall good online shopping experience.

i have placed many orders with hobbylinc and i can say that they are one of the finest if not the finest companies i have ever used. orders are shipped on time,arrive on time and i have never had any reason to complain or even contact them

Ordering for the very first time all the way from Mumbai, India i was apprehensive i must admit. Most of my international shopping goes only as far as Ebay and Amazon so it was a leap of faith and im glad i did. My very first order placed with Hobbylinc.com on the 9/26/2015, received it 10/27/2015, a month staring at USPS tracking screen " In transit to destination" i was at my wits end. Apart from the slow pace i am a very satisfied customer. The model kit was packed really well and considering it came thru regular post it had not a bump or a scratch. Will definitely shop at Hobbylinc.com.
