What a scam of a company, I book and unfortunately paid in full almost 2500 dollars on July 28th to August 25th. I went to pick up my car, the booking was locked from holidaycars side.... They never answer the emergency number and they replied by email after 3 days... They refused to rebook the car or refund my money. They ruined my vacation and stole my money... A case was raised with Master card...do not use their service, it's a scam.

To all interested parties .
I would like to point out that I received excellent service from the rental company. Although I canceled the order due to the Corona and could not reach any questions or problems I had quickly answered that way they provide service and so I recommend working with this company. If I need a car rental service in the future, I would like to look into this company for the first time.

Even though I was having trouble with site, HolidayCars was right on top of it and made everything work out great. I had to change reservations but they were very good about helping me. I would definitely use them again. They were great to work with.

Es ist sehr irritierend wenn die Internetseite mitten im Buchungsdialog zwischen den Sprachen Deutsch und Englisch hin und herspringt.So waren z.B. auch die allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen in Deutsch, die Mietbedingungen in Englisch. Da ist es schwierig zu verstehen, was eigentlich gemeint ist
Auch bei dieser Bewertungsanfrage kam die Anforderung auf deutsch, das Rating-Formular ist auf Englisch. Für "nichbilinguale" Kunden ist das sehr schwer.

It is quite irritating, if the website switches between german and english language during the booking-process. I.g. the general terms and conditions were in german, whilst the special contitions of the rental contract were in english. This makes it difficould to unterstand what is ment. Also the E-Mail with the request for this rating was in german, whilst the rating form is in english. This is quite hard for "nonbilingual" customers.

You were very helpful, patient and understanding regarding my unwelcome cancellation due to covid-19. You refunded me taking a cancellation fee. If there is a vaccine within a year, I’d love to do my trip of a lifetime next year, which would mean hiring a car from you again. Many thanks again. Regards, Jane

We hired a car in Lithuania however we could not complete the booking as our flights were cancelled due to the current COVID-19 outbreak. Holidaycars does not understand this situation and regardless the cancellation out of our control and they still charge 25% cancellation fee while all other companies giving full refund. We will never use them ever.

We have hired a car but could not compete the booking as our flight was cancelled due to COVID-19 outbreak. When we cancelled the booking Holidaycars informed us they charge 25% cancellation fee regardless we informed them they the cancellation is beyond our control and we cannot be at the location physically. They however state that we can use the full amount as a credit for future bookings but we are not entirely sure how soon we will hire a car in future and for the refunded credit will definitely have lower value in 2-3 or more years. They are slow in their response and not willing to cooperate. All other companies issue full refund. They worst customer service we have ever experienced.

They refuse to issue full refund to customers during the COVID-19 cancellations which is outrageous. All other companies giving full refund. They state that they are “trying to do their upmost to satisfy their clients during the crisis” yet they failed to respond when I asked them how are they doing that. All big words... They rather ripping customers off and they fail to understand the current pandemic situation. Wish I had read all bad reviews about their extremely poor customer service prior to hire a car with them.

Very helpful when I mistakenly reserved my rental in Euro instead of US dollars and had to make a change, they converted it for me and made the change. This was done all through email since their phone system was done due to the pandemic.

I bought liability insurance from HolidayCars online and then Advantage Car Rental company charged me again for the liability insurance.

Holiday was very understanding of the situation and they refunded me their charges for the liability insurance.

I thought it was a very kind gesture.

Because this, i will rent from them in the future.
