My initial appointment was booked in for 1 June . Just before he was due to arrive he texted me to ask what the issue was and to send details of the issue and dishwasher make and then said he needed to order parts . As this appointment has been booked for 2’monfhs I am confused as to why I wasn’t asked this information prior to the initial visit so that he them could have arrived with the parts On 1 June. So then the appointment was booked for Friday 5th. I got a message to say he was 10 minutes away , and an hour later he still didn’t arrive . I couldn’t get through to anyone on the phone , so contacted via. What apps only to be told the call had been cancelled , when I asked for further information I was told the wrong engineer was booked . I would like further clarification as this just doesn’t make sense to me , he was booked for the Monday, ordered the parts and was 10 minutes away so why was he suddenly deemed to be the wrong engineer ? Also it is not great that no one thought to call me and let me know this information and just left me waiting , thinking he was just running late and I had to contact you. I now have to wait yet another week . As you can imagine I am very frustrated and not very impressed. I understand We are in unusual times, so understand that I had to wait a couple of months , but that does not excuse bad customer service.

Original 2 year guarantee expired. Cover policy taken out. Hotpoint freezer not freezing. 2 years 4months old. Booked a repair through a repair cover policy company. Told Hotpoint were busy. Passed to another company, who after me waiting days for the appointment and then waiting in all day, didn't show up. I telephoned them, told they were too busy and my appointment had been cancelled, without informing me. Rang policy company again to complain who this time arranged a next day repair visit by Hotpoint. I expected them to come out and have to order parts and revisit. The man came out. Fitted a new part and the freezer now works like new, first visit. Two self fit parts were also ordered and arrived by post as promised, safely packaged. The engineer was polite and knowledgeable and gave us some insider tips to get the best out of our no frost freezer. This was also during the Covid19 pandemic. Cant fault Hotpoint repairs, 5 stars to them!

excellent service from hotpoint as soon as a fault is reported an engineer is here within a day or two and fixed fault is repaired quickly would rate hotpoint service very good.

Came to fix our cooker... Piece needed not on board had to wait a further 3-5 days so about a week with only a top oven... Cooking for two adults and 5 children... Not happy. But was when fixed

I bought a hotpoint fridge freezer and it went faulty within 12 months. When I called to report the problem It took 3 visits to fix it. Took 2 and a half weeks and so much food got wasted, that I had to throw away. Very disappointed with the hotpoint fridge. 3 engineers told me different things before it was fixed.

The engineer was very professional and did his job really well. He was polite and informative and explained what he was doing clearly.
Unfortunately, we did have to wait from 4th May to have the work completed.

The appointment process was quick and simple online, getting one within the week. Engineer was friendly and got straight on with fault finding and fixing the problem and left area tidy.
Only one point is that more PPE could be given / used for engineers as they are going into properties! (during covid-19)

Although your engineer arrived promptly and safely distanced himself from us and was very polite, he didn’t know he was meant to replace a broken “foot” on my cooker, he was sent to repair a “mark“ on the oven door! He informed us that he didn’t have the part on the van and that he will get it organised that the part (foot) would be sent to us through the post, we are currently still waiting for the part (foot) to arrive Of which I assume we are to replace ourselves which I don’t think is safe, I’m not impressed that he wasn’t given the correct information in the first place on what he was meant to do! And that we have to do the job ourselves!!

We had a freezer delivered and they took the old one away ,left the new one outside would not bring it in for us ,took the old one away scratched hell out of our new kitchen floor took a chunk out of our doorstep. Made a complaint was passed from one person to another after 2 years we got nowhere they might sell good items but there customer service is unbelievably bad!!!
