Went above and beyond when I was having difficulties.
Despite Calum 'CEO & founder' Brannan replying on here last week, not only have our problems not been solved, they have gotten quite impressively worse. This week alone, we discovered Howsy owe us £369 which they have at no point informed us of (only noticed when I requested to see proof of our deposit holding scheme, also never sent to us in 2 years of renting from them). Amounts did not match - Duncan, our account manager who never seems to be able to respond to emails in less than 48 hours, often 7 days..... responded 48hrs after I asked for clarification on this as we are unsure what proportion of the money goes to each housemate - Duncan said it'd take 'a couple of days to contact finance' but here we are, several days later, with no response. He managed to forward us an email about a boiler service having been booked, which I immediately queried (on Tuesday) - nobody should be sent here for non-essential work. The last service was done in July, it isn't even due - all of this is to facilitate our landlord, not us. Howsy do not care, at all, about their tenants' happiness or safety. The decorators have left massive paint streaks down the hallway doors which, of course, Duncan has not reponded to - I have absolutely no doubt that Howsy will attempt to bill us for this when we move out. Good luck - if you're renting from them, ensure you document everything. We do.
