The Bradford Branch has to be the worst Estate Agents I have ever dealt with (and I have worked in property for 14 years). We dealt with Mo who was late to every appointment we had and showed no apology even when we were left waiting for 30 minutes for his arrival.

After moving in and establishing the property was not safe to live in due to faulty electrics we contacted Hunters. We were told there was nothing they could do as it was tenant find only and have never been to the property. When we asked about Electrical Safety certificates due to our concerns we were told it's not a legal requirement so the landlord doesn't need one and they couldn't help further. If I had known they had never visited the property or completed any checks on the landlord I would not have been so trusting!

After taking a substantial amount of money for referencing fees (which they admitted they change the costs of constantly depending on how desperate they are to rent a property) we have now been abandoned. Seen as the checks were so thorough on us why are there no checks of the property or landlord when we are handing over large sums of money? Tenants are left at risk and they don't seem to care.

I would steer clear if I was you.

They drop your house price without asking, they get your house details wrong and refuse to change them, they made us do all the viewings ourselves, then they won’t let you leave after the contract has ended, only way to get any response is to comment on Instagram, the manager is rude and will lie to your face about the contract details and won’t take any responsibility for her actions

Hunters Manchester is the worst agent ever....they never pick up the calls and Claudette has a mega attitude that needs slapping out of her, she’s a horrible person and gives the company a bad reputation

Given 1 star because won't allow a minus, typical Dirty tricks as these people still allow Gazumping to take place, we are due to sign contracts on monday next when they inform us they have sold the property to another buyer, this is after they agreed on more than one occassion to remove it from the market do not show anyone else round the property and agree a price. Scum is what they are and why everyone hates them so much. I wish all in the Bridlington office all that's bad to come their way and quick.........

Before calling the agency the price asked for rental was 575/m, miraculously after that the price increased to 600/m. Never before have I felt that disgusted for a real estate company.

From start to finish (12 weeks to be exact) we couldn’t have asked for a better company to support us
We had previously viewed about 6 properties with Hunters across Oldham to purchase
Whe it came to “The house”we went with they were supportive, friendly, patient and When we collected keys - what a lovely office on Hollinwood
Would totally recommend them and I thank them for all they have done

I’ve been dealing with this agency for the past 5 years, and once again they’ve proven the worst agency/agents ever. I deal with their branch in Surrey Quays, London, and their service is amongst the worst I’ve ever had in any kind of customer service, plus their incompetence is beyond belief.
We’ve had the name of the lead tenant changed from the DPS for someone who doesn't even live here. DPS tells us the agency requested the name, (which the agency rudely denied) and then we find out that only 1 of the current tenants has the name in the DPS although the deposit has obviously been payed by the 3 of us. On top of that, after showing our obvious concern with the situation, we’re told by the agency not to worry, because “it should be fine”. Disgraceful!!!
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!

Unfortunately once again America succumbs to its usual 2-dimensional plots and characters with yet another load of revenge programming loaded with a heavy dose of violence. Predictably, the line is clearly defined between good and evil. Each episode we can look forward to inventive ways in which a healthy cross section of races kill evil Nazis, executing them with catchy one-liners and witty monologues. Most of this garbage rests on a good Jewish teenager who joins a team of what seems like movie extras in order to track down the evildoers and plot their demise.

0 stars Avoid renting a property with this company especially the Bradford office and the vile letting agent Mo. He will push you into paying a holding deposit (another word for an admin fee) with no intentions of letting you the property or paying you back your deposit. As a single mother who has just been ripped off. I find companies and people like this absolutely repulsing, with no morals whatsoever. I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company as a tenant or a home owner. One word corrupt.

Jay showed us the flat and he is very good at selling places to you the problems occur once you move in. No one picks up the phone, no maintenance carried out by Hunters who were managing it. When they do turn up they don’t complete the jobs and they lie all the time.
When we left we had to fight hard to get our deposit as they made up lies on the deposit form. The flat was a mess because they didn’t fix the issues. Don’t rent from them they are terrible

This rating is for the Franchise of Hunters in OXFORD.

Please avoid them if you dont want to lose your money and temper. They do not provide a decent and trustworthy service. They take your money and then show their real face.I was willing to rent a property wherein they said everything is fine and so they took the money and then when I went to visit the apartment they said that the Landlord wants a Guarantor which is totally unfair and unacceptable and also needed a 1 year contract. I was willing to agree a 1 yr contract but even then they wanted a Guarantor. I was failry new to this country at that time and so I could not get someone to sign this. The Hunters has not given me back the money for this nor showed me any other property. They simply closed my file and even went so far of blocking my emails in their system and not picking my calls. This is not a Legitimate company to deal with.

I rented a property for 6 months from this company and it’s by far the most horrific and unprofessional company I’ve ever come across.
I got my keys and on entering the property you could smell how dirty it was. The carpet in living room had been so badly worn it had holes in it (when I view the property before it had tenants living in it and this as covered by furniture). Some of the rooms were wallpapered. Obviously lack of cleaning done. I did the inventory hive where you tick of the picture taken by the estate a gent matched the description, it did so I ticked it. All this was via email and before I got the keys to actually see it bare. I was horrified at the state of the place and called them immediately. Banister rail was loose, the back door had dropped, the front door leaked, all interior doors were very hard to open, the showers had been leaking as there was mould on kitchen ceiling directly below, boiler lost pressure when the heating was on and much more. They rectified a few things. Now over the 6 months I was there they did get things sorted (4months before an electrician was employed to fix the smoke alarms). Now I did not receive my full bond back as they took money off me £15 for dust on light fitting, and £25 for paint work that had been scratched (previous tennant painted white paint on brown plastic windowsills). I left the property in an immaculate state. It was much cleaner then when I moved in. Besides Annabelle being the most stuck up rude and unprofessional person I also think I’ve been misled and taken advantage of. As i imagine they took bond money off previous tenants for the decorating issues they did not however rectify this and restore the house to neutral decor. I don’t mind find taken off if I have damaged anything but they seem to take your money and not repair anything!

If there was a minus it would be -5.... throughout our tenancy of 6 years over paying by £250 per month as the property was supposed to be ‘managed’ haha ???? we have now moved out and lo and behold are going to have to instruct solicitors to recover our deposit. They claimed we have made ‘modifications ‘ and want to recover the cost to remove (a herb garden - which we left, a shoe store in a cupboard that is useless it won’t even store a vaccum)... they left us without working toilets for 3 months at a time on 2 separate occasions and are sloooooowwww to react to any of our requests for maintenance. Where is our protection as tenants... ? We professionally cleaned the house ‘top to bottom’ and still they find fault when the property was FILTHY on our arrival (we have photographic evidence) !! We moved from Camberley to Harrogate and they made our removals men wait (in our opinion on purpose) so that we were pressured to sign all these pages of documentation on the morning we were moving in... sound good? They are liars and cheats... we played fair they DON’T... be prepared to fight on ... we will.. see you in court it’s gonna cost you..........

They over priced my house have had no viewings in 6 weeks of being on the market now have reduced it they don't keep in touch enough and I have to chase them definitely would not recommend

As a local Landlord I contacted Daniel from Hunters in Wokingham, to discuss the possibilities of moving over to a fully managed service, Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and just didn't try to sell me any product of service - he listen to my individual needs and offered some expert advice.
