Love the table and chairs, very comfortable and mid century modern. Be prepared for a lot of packaging. I didn’t realize all of the packaging involved, but I understand the need to make sure nothing is damaged.

I discovered Interior Icons on a search looking to find companies that did excellent versions of classic furniture. I had seen cheap knock offs but wanted something better. We found the coffee table we loved at a price that we feel was a bargain at $499 which compared to the Knoll version at $1900. It was easy to order, the follow up communication was great, and the table with glass top was sent to us in perfect condition. I highly recommend this company and will purchase with them again. This kind of service is a lost art.

We ordered the Platner table. It is beautiful. Overall experience was excellent. From ordering to shipping. My only issue is the table sits at exactly 28 inches, which is on the short side of standard. We have not purchased furniture in many years and truly didn't pay attention to that (our fault). But in a family with average height of 5'9" it is like sitting at the kids table. I am open to options, if anyone has any, of how to raise the table an additional 2 inches.

Deceptive and fraudulent practice of Interior Icons
Supplement to the initial review 4/18/2021

Dear Interior Icons:

In reply to your 4/19/2021 email, you put a condition--delete my review on Interior Icons before you refund the 30% of my money, the following are my counter before I will delete my review.

1.  Refund my 30% immediately to my credit card without condition.
2.  Online cancellation is allowed within 14 days with full refund next to your "free 30 days return policy" on your website.
3.  Highlight the return and cancellation clause/ policy on customer invoice receipts.

I agonized dealing with your company for this one furniture (Knoll 2 seater).  Interior Icons fought me every step, manufacturing ad hoc "policy" and ignoring facts for a few months.   
As late as your 4/9/2021 email, you stated a "12 hrs cooling off period" was allowed in my order and I was charged a 30% cancellation fee since the cancellation was beyond the 12 hrs period.  
My cancellation was within 14 days and it was not a custom item and has not shipped.

Interior Icons as an online company knows and should have known the statutory minimum cooling off period is 14 days with full refund to online customers under the FTC Consumer Contracts Regulation.  This deception is totally unacceptable, a violation of FTC guidlines and a waste of everyone's time and resources. 
Interior Icons should be more direct & transparent on items #2 & #3 above.   It would generate good will & save the company's time/ money in the long run. 

Honesty is warranted.

Well... it’s my second furniture purchase from Interior Icons into the pandemic and I am sooo happy with it. They delivered at the scheduled date and both- the marble tulip table and the knoll sofa are beautiful 🤩. I will post a picture if I can. I do recommend Interior Icons and will be Back shopping soon👌🏼.

Very pleased with my dealings with Interior Icons. I ordered 2 chairs - they arrived sooner than expected in separate boxes. One of the boxes was clearly damaged in shipping, and had been taped back together by the shipper. I unpacked the undamaged box first - it was exactly what I'd ordered and looks great. When I opened the damaged box the chair was fine, but assembly parts had been lost which made it impossible to put together properly. I contacted Interior Icons customer service, the representative got back to me quickly,looked into the problem, offered several solutions, and within a few days had the situation resolved to my satisfaction. Great people to deal with!

There are plenty of reputable online stores with great furniture who actually care about their client's experience, save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

The website banner says "30-day free returns", sounds great doesn't it. I cancelled an order before it had even been packaged for shipping and they charged me a $100 cancellation fee!

I ordered 1 lamp & they admitted the item hadn't been packaged or made ready for shipping after 5 days but they charged the fee "to cover the loss of time and materials for our factory" which hadn't yet done any work to prepare the order.

I responded to the Customer Service emails they are alluding to below more than 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing from them. Unfortunately, their only response was directly to this review instead of to me, the customer.
Sadly my experience keeps getting worse.

I bought Carrara marble tulip table from them. I received it, and it did not look like the pictures on their website (not even close). It’s grey and splotchy, instead of white, with attractive veins running through it. I asked them if it was defective, and they stated that all marble is different. Alright.

Walking into Design Within Reach today, I saw that the original Knoll Saarinen table did indeed look like the pictures that Knoll puts online. Actually, it was better in person. It seems that Knoll doesn’t suffer from the issue that Interior Icons does. They give you what you ask for.

Overall, I give the experience 3 stars, as the Interior Icons table does have it’s own subtle beauty, under certain light, and I appreciate that. The Knoll version is far more beautiful, under any light. This experience has convinced me to dish out the money for the real thing from now on. I can’t link photos here, so I made a picture of the table I bought my profile picture. Judge for yourselves.

Were I to do it again, I’d buy a slightly smaller, authentic Saarinen table, which is not that much more expensive than what I bought from Interior Icons. It’s worth it when you are making an important purchase.

I had a prolonged interaction with ICON, and it was very satisfying.

I ordered a sofa and it was delivered on time and with care. But the sofa I accepted was the wrong color. Light gray, not dark. It’s a long story, but ICON completely took care of getting the correct sofa delivered to me. Such professional service.

Again, very long story, but ICON took such excellent care of this process. The communication was fast and complete.

The customer service is first rate.

The sofa that I’m sitting on currently is as expected. I love it. Thank you.

We bought an Arne Jacobsen styled floor lamp from Interior Icons. The product arrived within 2 days (granted that we live close to their distribution center) and the communication was very good (received order confirmation email, shipping email, delivery email and post delivery questionnaire). The quality of item exceeded expectations. It's made in China, but one can't tell that it's different from the original manufacturer. Pairs very well with our Herman Miller Eames Lounge Chair.

We ordered from Interior Icons a settee, chair and ottoman. The shipment was delayed 3 weeks. When the shipment arrived, I was extremely impressed with the shipping containers, packing of furniture, and the furniture itself. Items are exactly like the website and we LOVE them.

Shipping containers used extremely heavy cardboard plus the containers were reinforced to prevent damage. Items were heavy plastic wrapped and each leg wrapped as well. No assembly required, which was great. Everything was perfect.

Interior Icons will be the first place I go to when I order any additional furniture. I appreciate their attention to detail and overall customer service focus.

I think this company is not good to deal with and would not recommend them. I placed two orders with them. First, I ordered, two Wagenfeld lamps in February,2021, when they came one was fine and the other was missing a part and was defective. They said they would ship me another one in 10 to 12 weeks later. When I checked the website yesterday, the product was not going to ship for another 6 weeks, effectively a wait of 6 months for a lamp. When I wrote to cancel the order they tried to entice me with a $50 price reduction. If I didn’t take the offer here is the refund policy: “If you decide to cancel we will have to charge a 50% cancellation fee as this order was placed over 30 days ago.” (Direct quote from an Interior Icons e-Mail) Mind you, this order was a make good for a defective product they sent me. There is nothing in the cancellation policy to cover this situation (link to interior icons removed per site policy) The product has not shipped and won’t for 6 weeks. The only possible reason for a 50% reduction in a refund is as follows: “ Order cancellations requested after 30 days from placing the order and prior to shipment can be refunded in full minus a 50% processing fee to cover the loss of time and materials for our factory.” (Direct quote from the policy) Since the item won’t ship for another 6 weeks this policy is not applicable. This position is not part of the published policy of the company and Saks to profit from their inability to ship a product in a timely manner.

My mom taught me that would shopping for furniture quality really does matter. If you buy quality furniture now you don't have to worry about replacing it later. Everything that I've purchased from you so far has been top notch quality. I couldn't ask for better. And I certainly couldn't get it cheaper. Thank you.

When I had to call customer service regarding a minor problem, it was resolved in an instant. That’s not something that I'm accustomed to with other stores and retailers. To me, this makes a huge difference and changes the game big time. Service before, during and after the sale means a lot.

I am the sort of person who waits to write a review only when it is truly deserving of a product or company. That is the case here. I do not review very much but I had to let everyone know about this store and the excellent customer service that I was provided here along with the top-notch products that were shipped to my home. If you are on the fence about whether or not to give them a try, I suggest you listen to the inner self that is telling you to go ahead.

I have nothing but accolades to share about this furniture store. I have purchased several items here, including six Platner dining chairs and a tulip coffee table, all of which arrived in Tip-Top shape and excellent condition. I was surprised by the low prices and plan to come back for additional furniture in the future.
