I bought a $650 pool kit with a saltwater filtration system on June 8. It arrived June 14 and on July 7 the salt water generator quit working. I called them on Monday July 9 and they said it was no longer under warranty with them and I had to deal direct with Intex. In doing so we found out that the generator/filtration system was obsolete from 2012 and was not even the model number that was on the box. They evidentially swapped out and old system in hopes I would not find out. I asked for a replacement and they said no and totally ignored my future emails. Do NOT purchase from these people!

I had order paint and then later read I needed paint sealer. So I went back and ordered that. Then I realized that wasn't necessary for the paint I had ordered. Call them back to cancel the sealer order. They said too late its already been sent to warehouse to package. I requested they call the warehouse and cancel. They said they couldn't, just wait for the tracking number and have them re-direct. So I did that. Shipper would not allow me to re-direct, they said shipper had to do that. Called them back, they wont do that. They said if they delivery the package they will not even take it back (paint - per the policy). They said if you are there refuse package and they would then charge me 20% for refusing and the another 20% for re-stocking. All of this could have been avoided if they had just not shipped the package as I requested. You think for 1 second they knew once they got that paint out the door I was screwed? You bet they did. If you order from them after reading this review or any of the others you deserve what you get.

Customer service lady was nice though. It was out of her hands at this point.

I ordered 50tabs of tabs from them. I have ordered from them before. When I got them over 1/2 were broken. I called and was told 2 give a exact count of how many. So piece by piece I took out.
then I sent pics. On Monday I was suppose 2 get the Supervisor. He never called me back but I did get a call back from a lady & she credited me back the money & said I didn't have to send the tabs back. This all started Aug 1,2015 Today 8/19/2019 I receive a e-mail saying I need to return the tabs or be charged the amount for them. I call them back. I need a box a label you name it I need it. They blame I was miss informed. I am just paying them and I will Never order from them again.

Purchased a expensive liner to discover it had a hole in it.Company will not refund or even give any kind of credit,paid for one day delivery to get it 3 days later.Lady told me had I not opened the box it would make it less complicated and my response was I bought a liner to install not to sit in a box.This company does not care about their customers,They have ripped us off and they don't care.Never will I buy from this company again.

Purchased a solar cover last summer used it 3 months got it out to use this summer and it is completely falling apart. Called for warranty information and sent them pictures of the cover. After 3 days we received an e mail stating that it was our fault because our chemicals must be off or it was in the sun too much. WHAT I didn't know a solar cover was supposed to be used on an indoor pool with no chemicals. Mind you this cover advertised a 7 year warranty. I will probably buy the same type of cover again and just plan on replacing it every year but not from In the Swim. Very pour customer service.

I ordered several items from In the Swim that were advertised as 1 Day Delivery. I contacted the company the day after I ordered because I had not received tracking numbers. Order had not shipped and the CS person did not know why. I requested to cancel the order but he refused. I tried another CS agent later that day and she also refused because now some of the order had shipped. I also sent emails to customer service requesting assistance. So far it's been four days and no delivery. Also there has been no response to the emails and no refund to my card. Customer Service is horrible. Everything you do with them says 24-48 hour response time. They state 1 Day Delivery but they do not deliver in one day!!!

I was going to place and order today! But didn’t!! Let me tell you why. They state at the top of website page free shipping, fast delivery. No where does it state you need to use a promo code or you can only use one. Then they send me a crap tone of emails way to many if you ask me. Well email I received was 10.00 dollars off for spending 50.00 or more. I go to check out and you can’t get free shipping if you take 10.00 off of 50.00 or more. So I’m thinking something isn’t right. I speak to there online rep and I’m telling her my situation (AMANDA) that is and she is as dumb as they come. She needs to be retrained if you can’t answer my simple question when asked three times! What does shipping have to do with your discount. The answer I get is well the discount is only on some items! HELLO I told you the discount of ten worked in check out again what does shipping have to do with a promotion? I’ve shopped a lot of online places and if they state free shipping on orders over a certain amount than you get it regardless of your coupon. I even told her Amazon is selling it with free shipping no code. But in the end they must make so much they can afford to lose customers over false advertising. And Amanda was ok with it. Don’t buy nothing from them!

Purchased Solar cover , lasted 3 months , In The swim wont back up the warranty, PD 125.00 FOR A 16 mil cover that couldn't last 1 season, blamed chemicals but we keep levels at lowest possible as we are sensitive , Almost half the solar bubbles popped. Was told to send back for some separation they may cover it but i doubt it bottom line there only going to send me back another piece of garbage they can KEEP IT ! Cant believe people get away with robing others , they tried to blame the manufacturer ..passing the buck if you sell it then you should take responsibility , i know we are not the only people this happen to ..stop selling SHIT ! I will be re-posting this in as many places available and will pass the words on through masses on the internet and in the spring will make a video to upload to U Tube and will pay Google though pay per clicks and will invest double the $$ to Shame your company for robbing people.

I bought over 1,000 dollars worth of products and was sent the wrong filter so i needed to return it. I contacted customer service not only did i have to pay to ship it back they charged me a restocking fee. So not only did they make money they also got their product back to resell. I was so mad i will never shop there again

I purchased 4 pool filters. The company sent one correct filter, 3 Aftermarket filters. I needed to return the incorrect filters at my cost of $83 to correct their mistake. BEWARE of this company. They can sent you a birdcage instead of a test kit, and you will need to pay to return the birdcage!
