We have built with Jandson Homes twice now, 6 years apart. The quality of the finishes was first rate and the 'trades' we encountered were consistently good in both homes. In particular, superb brick-laying, carpentry and paint work on both homes. The staff were honest and responsive.

We would build with Jandson again (but love our current home so much that we plan on staying put for a long time!).
Clever, well thought out, modern designs. Practical inclusions and finally....walls in the right places! (how many homes did we look at with beautiful, large, open rooms but no walls to put a TV or wall unit up against!). Extremely helpful staff, both at Homeworld and in the office.
We found their pricing to be on the high side and the air-conditioning company they deal with incredibly rude.

As a first home buyer, we chose a house and land package from Jandson Homes and I must say that we are glad that we did. They had quality inclusions and a great package for most of our upgrade requirements, without actually draining our pockets.
Right from the beginning of the process, they have been completely transparent about the inclusions and exclusions. Their sales person was upfront in letting us know the pros and cons of various choices that we were making. The design team was very knowledgeable and helped us visualize the various color, tile selections etc.
The council approval process was handled seamlessly. The client coordinator ensured to send weekly updates about the progress, which we found quite useful in organizing things at our end. The construction supervisor was very efficient in addressing our queries and concerns.

We are impressed by the great team that was behind the execution of our home. The whole construction process was completed ahead of schedule by almost a month. This purchase is a complete value for our money.

I built a home with Jandson Homes and i must say it was one of the worst decisions i have made. The site supervisor had no idea what he was doing and just did not care. The finishing of the house was a disgrace. The house was not cleaned properly before we moved in. The back sliding door was put in on an angle and it was not until i pointed it out that it actually got fixed. The tiles in the house had tile grout all over them. They missed putting items into the house that were on the plan. We had to get the painters back in as they missed painting in certain spots of the house. All of the skirting and architraves have not been finished correctly and are very rough no attention to detail at all. One architrave had a 2cm gap between it and the wall. The driveway has pieces coming out of it when you hose it. The driveway had to be repainted and resealed as it was done incorrectly the first time. Smoke alarms that were installed into the house did not work correctly and had to be replaced. You can see the joins of the gyprock on the ceiling. When it did come to the 6 month maintenance 3 months later we are still trying to get it finished off with little to no communication from the builder. I could keep going on with the issues that i had with this builder but all i can say is keep clear and use someone else or you will not be happy with the finished product.

I built a Jandson home approximately 18 years ago, within a few months a steel plate was needed to reinforce the front of the house as it was bowing on the porch, then there were issues with the waterproofing failing and leaking into the bedroom, there have always been problems with nail marks on the ceiling, in spite of regular patching and painting... perhaps the reason why is because just recently it has been discovered that the roof trusses have failed due to poor design and workmanship (as per the engineers report). Jandson are not interested as the house is out of all warranty periods.
BE WARNED that your beautiful house may one day be, literally, falling down on top of you!!

***UPDATE*** - To Jandson's credit they have now fixed the trusses in the roof and my house is now safe again. I am very thankful that the job was done by professionals who were very respectful and thorough. I still love the layout of my Jandson home and appreciate their help to rectify this problem all these years later.

My husband and I were part of the 10,000 first home buyers with a 5% deposit.

We were looking for a while for a house that got the criteria we needed as well as what we could afford.

We looked at countless display homes and dealt with many builders who told us they couldn’t help us or who never even bothered to contact us back.

One day while strolling through homeworld, we came across Jandson homes, we took a look through the display home, and while the display home was not what we were looking for, we spoke to a lovely woman named Helen who advised there was a house in Jordan springs that was within our budget and already built. We met her there and after 15 minutes of inspecting the house we decided that the house was everything we were looking for. We paid a deposit and began the purchase process.

Dealing with Helen and Jandson homes has been a pleasure, any issue (which were minimal) were instantly fixed, and I truly felt looked after while dealing with Helen.

We are super happy we decided to walk into that display home that day, despite not having heard of Jandson before, as we have now been living in our new home for almost a month and loving it.

Would recommend them to anyone looking at buying.

Helen still regularly checks in with me regarding the house and I am confident that when we submit the 6 month maintenance report any issues will be rectified shortly.

Custodian Construction, have been using Jandson Homes as one of our contracted builders for over 3 years and in this time Jandson have always been prompt, helpful, and professional.
Jandson builds between 30 – 60 for us a year and it is always a smooth process from Council Approval to Key Handover.
Approval for most properties is received within 8 weeks and the builds are always completed within the allotted time frame.

Jandson keep us updated on each property in construction and attend to any questions or concerns promptly.
The homes are always completed to a high standard with very few issues arising along the way giving our clients piece of mind.

I purchase an investment property at Edmondson Park earlier this year. The home appears to have been well built with our only issues being a door sticking and a few cornice cracks. The process with Jandson was relatively simple with their colour consultant picking our colours and doing a great job. Main problem was with our bank which held settlement up. Overall a good job and we will be looking to buy again next year.

This was the third home we've had built in Sydney, and this was by far the best experience we've had. Compared to the other builders we've dealt with, Jandson was terrific.
Efficient and careful in their work, did everything they promised to do, and kept us informed all the way through the project.
Would have liked more information about maintaining the house after we moved in, but the extra warranty period was good.

Being a first home owner the thought of building a home was a scary thought but luckily we stumbled into the Jandson display village at Jordan Springs. The assistance we received from Scott made the whole experience of planning our first home a breeze, Scott was very down to earth and understanding of our needs and wants, was a great feeling knowing any concerns or questions could be answered with a phone call or email to Scott who was very efficient and proactive. We were able to amend existing plans to suit our needs which was a key factor in us choosing to go with Jandson. The price was also a major factor, Jandson provided an affordable option for us to build our dream home and still live within our means. In comparison to other builders we were being provided with everything that fit our needs and wants a cheaper and more affordable price.

Once our first home was underway it seemed to fly past, everyday there seemed to be progress and if it wasn't for almost a full month of rain at the start we would have been in our home a lot sooner. Our site supervisor Rob was very approachable and very much on the ball, we experienced some troubles with trades damaging neighboring property and Rob dealt with efficiently. He is very down to earth and has still helps us out to this day even though we have moved past the construction phase.

Getting the weekly updates from the office staff is a great customer service tool that Jandson use as it gave us a heads up of work that has been completed and will be completed as we couldn't get out there some weeks to check on progress.

Having moved into our home now, we appreciate the work that has been put in by Jandson to make our dream a reality and ensure we are satisfied customers. We love our new home and would recommend Jandson as a builder to anyone including friends and family. Keep up the good work Jandson

I have just done practical completion today! only thing I can say well done Jandson Home, they told 6 months to build my house with 1 month delayed because the bricks I ordered were out of stock, it wasn't Jandson can be control so I understand. I am very happy of their finishing. They always provided me excellent customer services, you asked questions and they responded within hours, they are a honest and friendly company to deal with, never hid anything. only bad comment I will give to Jandson, they should provide more options to buyer to upgrade their home like landscape, solar, roof sarking etc..

I am a first home buyer and of course, had little experience about properties and stuff. Saying that, an idea of building my very first house had never come across my mind until I decided to look into suburbs further to the West, and just wanted to see what developers have to offer.
I never heard of Jandson Homes before, just a random walk-in enquiry. Julie Hoang, the sales consultant, was extremely helpful and very nice. She was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions. I like the way she presented – honest to the customer and didn’t try to trick you into an agreement or anything. She even referred me to a good solicitor at a very reasonable price.

I bought a House & Land package.
My land has just settled, a bit delay but it wasn’t Jandson Homes’ fault. The whole process was smooth, Julie and other staff were very responsive, especially Julie. Yes, she always replied to my email/broker’s email within hours.
They started to prepare the construction even before my construction loan has formally approved. Very impressive! The construction team has sent me email every week to keep me updated.
I just got an email saying their contractor needs to meet me for an electrical plan next week. Will come back and update on the process as well as the quality of the construction. But so far, I am happy with the team and will definitely refer Julie Hoang to my family and friends. That's why I am writing this review to support them LOL

Brought new in jordan springs in 12/2019 then it rained in 2/2020 and had major leaks inside still waiting for the repairs to be completed. Very slow always come up with excuses coming up to our 6 months warranty to fix defects make you wonder how long to fix these.

While signing the contract in Nov 2014 we were told that the townhouse would be completed by May 2015, but they got the Council approval to start the built only by Oct 2015, but the house has not yet finished and the supervisor has no idea about scheduling his work, he keeps on telling about lack of tradies. To add to it, we were told practical completion could be by end of Dec 2015 and then delayed to Feb 2016, and then by every month until May 2016, until the last week we were told the same but only to be informed on 2nd June that it would take another 3 weeks to complete, can't understand how can someone estimate so poorly, even a novice would estimate better than them and today we have been given further bad news that we won't get the occupation certificate until end of July due to paperwork delays, its been a frustrating long journey with Jandson and I am stuck badly with them and can't do much other than waiting patiently.

We are currently building a single storey home in Edmondson Park with Jandson Homes and are very close to practical completion now. They have been fantastic to deal with throughout the whole process. They helped us choose house plans suited to our needs and guided us through the colour selection process with ease. They had all the plans ready to submit for CDC approval as soon as our land registered and started construction shortly after the approval was received. We have been kept updated every step of the process and are very happy with the work so far. We were advised that it would take 6 months to build and so far everything is on track. Jandson Homes have done everything they can to make the building process as easy as possible of us. I couldn't recommend them more!

My parents have just built a home with this builder and it seems like one problem after another is appearing. First the garage was not even levelled, cracked tiles which let rain water leak through, cracked gyprocks on the ceilings which they have just mended together, very cheap painting with marks all over the wall...and not even being in the house for 3 weeks there is strong gas smells from the gas stove which is really dangerous, they don't even want to replace it with a new one but wants to 'fix' a damaged product, these are just some of the problems...

I don't think the builders realise how much time, effort and money goes into building a family home, and to make it worse they have no sort of headache in fixing it or compensating. We have just been waiting and waiting, taking time off work to have these things fixed and am sadly really not getting anywhere!! We all regret buiding the home through these builders, other houses on the street through builders such as 'wisdom' experience no pain at all, Jandson neglects customers and does not take any rapid actions to fix problems even where they are a health hazad!
