Over 7 hours late, and then charged me approx $500 to screw on a new tap. I could have gone to Bunnings and done it myself for $15. Unfortunately, according to Jim's it would have cost another $500 to actually fix the toilet!!!! We felt we had no option but to pay the money at the time because shops were shut by the time the plumber arrived (7 hours late), and we needed to be able to turn the water back on. NOTE: We fixed the toilet ourselves for just $25!! Could have done it ourselves originally, but hubby has heart failure, (and although I ultimately fixed this myself, I didn't know what I was doing at the time!) 3rd time using this company, and I will never, never, never use them or their sister companies again. Words can not express my bitter disappointment with this company.
For transparency: I sought to get a refund from Jim's Plumbing, but they would only refund the call out fee ($132). After contacting the Qld Office of Fair Trading who are quite toothless in this area, I had to accept that this was some small consolation for the over priced and disgusting service that we received!

Had my drains cleared quickly and professionally today by Joe
Arrived on time and got straight to work and had the problem fixed in no time at all

After trying to fix the problem ourselves we desperately needed help, Adam was a lifesaver, thanks to him we are looking forward to hot showers tonight. We can highly recommend this company.

Had to call Jim’s because I had a face washer that had been sucked down the bath drain fast efficient professional service and got the drain unblocked quickly came on time , thanks Jayden

I had a replacement Job under number 795959 with Ronny F and Callum came and sorted out new hot water service with great service and no fuss. Very happy and will use them again.

Chris came promptly and ready to fix our plumbing at 7pm. He was able to identify the problem and reticified the issue within the hour. He explained to us what needed to be done and did so excellently. I highly recommend him and would definitely call him again should I ever have any other problems in the future.

I booked a tap service online on Sunday. The scope of the work was stated clearly in the booking: to replace a set of tap washers and fit a new hand held shower in the laundry. I received a phone call within a couples of minutes and was given a quote for $132 inc GST. A plumber turned up in less than an hour, which is totally unexpected on a Sunday evening, and gave me an on the spot quote for a whopping $590 to service a set of taps, fitting the handheld shower is not even included in the price. I was gobsmacked!! I was told Jim's Plumbing is a premium service company and charges a fixed price for their work, regardless of location, all day every day. But to be honest, who in their right mind will pay $590 to service a set of taps on a Sunday evening, not to mention during normal hours on weekdays. Servicing taps is the most basic of all plumbing jobs, I really wonder what the company will charge for more complex jobs.

I paid $1682 to supply and fit two basin taps as there was a leak, and fit a new valve unit in the toilet system.
You are going to say why did you agree to the price and I know I shouldn’t have and must have had a brain malfunction but he was there, I have asked for a invoice but nothing yet.
Received a invoice with breakdown asked for a partial refund because they charged $450/hour and received an agreed one, a lot happier now.

Prompt service ie same day service with problem resolved to my satisfaction hot water system replaced with new unit by Hayden and rhys also provided quote for pressure limiting valve

Fantastic staff on the phone explained the service fee and what to expect when the technician arrived
Replaced taps as well as hoses for my washing machine
I’m still in a bit of shock with the overall price, $1890? But very lovely guys, explained the work required and I am happy with the work

Did a professional job removing old toilet and installing new one
Removed old stuff and were respectful and knowledgeable

I had a water burst, in my back yard today. Called jims plumbing and laurence came out to the rescue and fixed my problem with my water burst. Explained to me why this happened and how to prevent it, in the future. #794623

I recently rang up Jim's Plumbing as I wanted an under sink reverse osmosis water filter installed. A guy was sent to my house from Metropolitan Plumbing (I was not aware there was an affiliation). I had to pay $132 for the call out. When he got here he proceeded to quote me $3200 to install the water filter and tap, what an absolute joke needless to say I didn't proceed. I just employed a local plumber to do the job for a total cost of $210. Metropolitan you should be ashamed.

Boiler replaced same day, quick, helpful and tidy. Couldn't recommend highly enough! All done at the weekend. No hot water in the morning and able to have a shower by the evening. 10/10

Job was booked in at night,Jayden arrived promptly at 8 am.
Jayden was very efficient, on time and completed the job quickly. No dramas.we had hot running water within the hour.
