we had a poor experience at the Watford branch on Saturday 2oth of July.
The initial impression wasn't great. The staff seemed largely bored and surly.
As i finished the chocolate muffin I had ordered, I felt something sharp hit the roof of my mouth. I fished it out and found a piece of wood, not unlike a long splinter from a toothpick.
My husband brought it back to the counter to show the staff. We were not expecting a refund, but just to let them know there was stuff in the products.
He was told that the muffins were 100% organic and made from the left over pulp from the juices and it was bendy....even though it was far from soft.
She was sarcastic and defensive.
I approached her, told her that all we wanted to do was point out the issue and perhaps she should notify the suppliers.
Again, she was aggressive, dismissive overall. Told me to write an email without looking at me. I persisted, in a reasonable tone with her, just to engage her in a civilised discussion.
Eventually, she apologised for the sharp wood in the muffin but not before being more than disagreeable.
It occured to me that she was very young and obviously very inexperienced with the concept of good customer service. IT was like dealing with a badly behaved toddler.
Please train your staff in the appropriate way to speak to customers. We will not be visiting again.

I noticed she is squished some yellow liquid inside and she gave me the juice i asked what it is? *it's oil " it's not leasted on the ingredients!! Reply that's what you always get!!! Calories is the same"
People have allergy or health requirements if i get sick because hidden ingredients.

They said i paid for the previous customer bill. I didn't see any problems and asked them to refund my money and this is where it all started. They don't give refunds! they wanted to give me some kind of voucher or whatever. i said no, i want my money. One of them started to be so rude to me, i could not believe it.
So, they ripped me off for my money, they are not giving me my refund and they are rude to me.
I took details to complain but beware of this company. This is against the UK law and i will ask for my money and compensation. Do not buy anything from them.
This is not acceptable, my money was taken, J&J were unable to fulfil the order so I should be able to receive a refund instore. Not only was I unable to receive a refund I would have to email a generic email address with no proof that I had paid, no reference number and no guarantee of a refund.
Staff were pleasant but this process is not acceptable.
I was not greeted by the lady and she had a couldn’t care less attitude towards me
When she made my juice she called my name and when I picked my drink up she ignored me and even then I wished them all a happy new year and I was ignored again.
I have olive skin and thought the following;
Either she’s a racist
Maybe she has no inter personal skills
Or maybe she hates her job or was in a mood and decided to take it out on her customers
I like the products but after being served like this I have switched to bbs out of principle
I was made to feel like a second class citizen but I noticed a white lady after me was treated a whole lot better she was greeted, welcomed and spoken to
Very sad that people still behave like this in the UK and it genuinely did upset me!
Good sandwiches and juices. However they are suuuuuper slow preparing the food which makes me think twice before returning
Seems like they don’t like cooking very much.

Yesterday at 7.30 I popped up on the shop near Oxford street at Rathbone pl, London W1T 1JN and I’ve ordered small juice and tea after 10 min waiting I decide to cancel the order as I could not stay longer as on the counter there was nobody s waiting to be served not the person who should do the drinks. When eventually the staff member reappeared back from the counter( very tall slim man of colour- he did not give out his name ) I’ve asked him to cancel the order as it took so long and there was no other order that has to be done before mine. He refuses to refund me because I’ve paid by card something that is against my Customer’s Wrights to start with. He seems not caring at all and has laughing at me serving now customer who came after me and ask something for takeaway and obviously has not been started to make my drinks. When I ask to speak with the manager he comfortably said that he was the manager and i laugh at me..I say I‘ll take it further and will call the police and he said – do it and laugh again laugh at me again. I was so embrace that he did not even apologies or gave some excuse at least but the thing that made me angrier the most he did not even care to start preparing the drinks after the complaint. When I said would he do the juice at least he was so off as he is not there to do this but to bother the customers. I was only for me I would have left but because my friend really needed to drink something he eventually give the juice. I told him not to bother for the tea.
I do not why you open new shops if you’re not able to maintain basic the service, appalling manners and abuse of the customer’s wrights. I really need feedback and find who the rudest guy was ever served me.
I state I’ll make formal complaint and he seems he could not care less.
I need someone to reach me out and give me feedback if not I’ll take it further.
I’ll post this on all social medias as well.
