I recently purchased a Samsung washer and dryer from Kitchen Tradition. I noticed that it had the BBB symbol on it, so I trusted the vendor. After purchasing the product, I spoke with their customer service representative "Miriam" several times to alleviate a few doubts that I had with this new company. I inquired about return policy and rebate offers. She stated that I should inspect the items upon delivery, and if they are damaged, "refuse the order." I asked her if I was supposed to make the delivery men open the box to inspect the items. She replied that I am to inspect the washer and dryer when the delivery men come to install the washer and dryer. That would be my opportunity to inspect for any damages. I gladly responded with "Ooooooh ok, I gotcha." When the delivery worker arrived August 24, 2009, he stated that his job was to simply "drop the item off by curbside." That is exactly what he did. I was expecting delivery into my residence and installation. I called Miriam immediately and inquired about my current situation. She denied having ever told me about installation upon delivery. She stated that they don't even offer that service. I declared that I remembered very distinctly speaking with her about the issue and that she undoubtedly mentioned that they would install my purchased products and allow me to inspect the items. I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment complex, and I had to wait one hour before a friend came to help me carry the items upstairs. It was a HUGE inconvenience. I expected installation and didn't receive such service. This is my first time purchasing a washer and dryer, and it was a horrible experience. Now, I have to figure out a way to get these installed. Hopefully, an appliance store will install them for a decent price. I gave Kitchen Tradition the benefit of the doubt and have been left unhappy.

Outstanding service, best price on washer, answered my questions politely and quickly, definitely going on my bookmarks for all future products, thought delivery charge might be $10-15 high but item arrived in only three days and delivery person was very courtiess.

It has now been a month and this SCAM of a company still has not helped me get a working washing machine. A Samsung repairman came out and said he did not have the parts and he would come back in about 6 weeks. That would make it 2 and a half months since I ordered a top of the line machine that (crazy me) I expected to work or at least that the seller would actually "give a damn" about their customer. Instead, Erica and her other scammers, blamed me and my wife for the POS they sold us. RUN AWAY from the COMPANY.

Ordered Friday 7 PM from web site. I now assume no one works there on weekends, and it was Tuesday that they called our home to confirm the order. Wed or Thur my charge card was charged which their web site states means the item was shipped. I received no e mail telling me that. I called the 800 # and left a message. About 2 hours later, the e mail confirmation arrived telling me it was shipped. I was able to follow it's trek across the country. Thru no fault of seller it got stuck over the next weekend in St. Louis. That delayed delivery a minimum two days more. I arrived Thursday instead of Tuesday. The manufacturers package was generously wrapped in bubble wrap. Removal of all packing revealed a 100% acceptable gas range. Aside from the delays, I am completely happy with my purchase, great price, reasonable shipping fee, and no sales tax.

They called me Monday May 21st and said the product I ordered was not in stock and wouldn't be until sometime in July. They were to call me again when they knew for sure if the product was discontinued. They never called me back and it is now Friday the 25th of May.

I ordered a refrigerator online July 3. On July 6th I had not heard from anyone so I called to find out when it wouild ship so I could use the receipt to file the 3 rebates indicated on the web site. I was told the item was on back order. I called 3 more times with the same story each time (Meanwhile the item is still showing for sale on the web site.) The time limit for the 3 rebates has passed so the item will now cost me $600 more but Kitchen Traditions says it is not their fault and they will not get the rebate extended or lower the price. Poor customer service - false advertising.
Update 9/27 Merchant told NY Attorney Generals office I could have qualified for a rebate ($100) but not the rest of the rebate ($500). They couldn't provide the whole rebate since they were selling an item they didn't have even though it was advertised on their web site a week after I ordered. Classic bait and switch. When I complained I was being "uncooperative."

I called several times proir to purchasing, to obtain information on a Bosch washer, extended warranty, rebate, shipping, etc. Calls were either answered promptly or returned shortly thereafter by Miriam. Seems like a small operation. Well run and courteous. The washer arrived via common carrier, as promised. The $100 rebate form were received by email. The only concern I have is the 5yr extended warranty issued by GE. It's been almost 2 months since the washer arrived and still no warranty information or paperwork. Miriam said she'd follow-up, but I'm still waiting.

BTW, we love the new Bosch washer. Quiet, efficient and everything that our old Frigidaire F/L washer wasn't.

I spoke to a Mirel and found her to be vry polite and easy to deal with.
I had questions regarding the rebates and when the extended warranrty would start and Mirel answered those questions.
She even emailed me the invoice and rebate forms to me.
She arranged delivery to my home the very next day. She also telephoned me with the time frame when the delivery would occur.
The Bosch washing machine was deliverd and was the model I had ordered.
I will be definitly contacting KitchenTradition again for my next appliance need!

I still don't know how they were the only retailer in the country that had the LG LDG3017ST in stock, but they did, and delivered when they said they would, which was fast. However, they don't have enough people answering phones, it seems no one's there half the time.

I ordered a Samsung front load washer and dryer from Kitchen Tradition and couldn't be happier with the price (almost $800 cheaper for the pair than the same models at my local Lowes), service, and overall experience. They answered pre-sales questions quickly, shipped the day after the sale (order placed late in the afternoon) and the units arrived palletized and well protected in record time. Highly recommended--will definately use them again.

Ordered a LG washer and dryer and after 2 weeks had not heared back from them about delivery. Called the 888 number and spoke with a women who told me the items were on back order and would not be in for at least 3 weeks. Pushed me to cancel the order but I told her I could wait. 3 days later I got a phone call and an e-mail asking me to contact them. Again spoke with a female employee who told me the items were on back order and would not be in for at least 8 or more weeks. Again pushed me to cancel the order which I did. Not sure what was going on but did not get the sense that I was dealing with a professionally run company and am now concerned that I gave them my credit card informayion.

Website user friendly, customer service could use a tune up and I believe one thing will get you into some trouble down the road, and that is R&L Carriers, took an extra two days to deliver. The driver for R&L was very good and informative.

Ordered a Capital Range for our new kitchen on 11/18 and it arrived via freight on 12/1 (from NY to CA). Invoice and tracking info were both sent promptly. Inspected the item upon receiving it and found it to be in immaculate condition. Some of the best packaging I have ever seen. Driver put the pallet in my garage and helped me unpack it so I could inspect. Very friendly. Overall great experience, I hope the range works as good as my buying experience has been with Kitchen Tradition!

After a careful search for a LG 4 door refrigerator in all the local appliance stores. I turned to the internet and contact 3 appliance outlets. After getting prices and answers to my questions I chose to purchase from Kitchen Tradition. Not only were their prices lower, the sales girl 'Erica" was very polite and professional in answering my questions. She brought to my attention a sale on a similar LG model that saved me over $700. The shipping charge from NY to Ft Laud Fl. was no more expensive than a local delivery. I was told how to tract the delivery and the most efficient way to handle the transition of the frozen food. On the estimated day of delivery ( less than one week later ) I received a phone call from Kitchen Tradition as a follow-up to its arrival.

Simply stated: I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND KITCHEN TRADITION. I don't think you will fine a better appliance outlet on the internet.
