Kogan Money

I could given them 0/5 if I could. dont be lure by their rewards offer, their fine print of terms and conditions are actually very misleading so make sure you check it out careful if you must trade with kogan. Dont know why this company still exist and allowed to be conducting such business, customer service very bad slow and inefficient. consumer beware.

I applied the credit card last week, after a week I did not get any update! Yesterday I called to follow-up, they have very poor customer service. I checked the status on the website and still is "submitted"!

I advise only using bank credit card!

As at now, Kogan does seem to have a computer system which is robust, stable and sufficient enough for credit card business.
Just as one example: The on-line application system has no provision for people like me (a self-funded retiree with steady & rather comfortable income from superannuation). Kogan system assumes that all credit card holders were workers with pay slips. Customer service (from overseas with hard-to-understand accent!) phoned me to ask for pay slips as proofs. I had to explain to her that in Australia, there are many people who no longer work, but earn good money from superannuation investments. So I offered to send her my statements showing the amounts of the superannuation returns last year (instead of the pay slips) and told her to bring them to her manager to discuss. Finally I got the message back that my credit card was approved - even though the system does not allow for applicants like me.
I have since contacted customer service many many times (via text messages on smart phone app - this is the only way though!) to resolve problems with their computer system - and these have been frustrating experiences. Had to try many times before I could get someone attending to my chat session. Customer service staff do not seem to have enough knowledge about the ins-and-outs of the system they are supporting. Too many examples of poor customers services for me to list out here!
Computer system for operating Kogan credit cards is the worst I have ever seen. It has been so unstable and not rigid. So often I get this message:
<<< We're sorry. We are having some temporary delays. Please try again later. >>>
I tried many times to set up a monthly payment. But kept on receiving this message:
<<< We're unable to process your request, please try again later. >>>
So I had to contact customer service to ask the person to effect this set-up for me. He couldn’t do that - instead kept on sending me the standard instructions on how to do the transaction myself (which was what I had done anyway), then signed out!

We have discovered that this business has SSL (secure sockets layer), which means that this business handles your data, such as personal information or credit card details, with secure connection. We discovered that the domain for this business is relitevely new, which means that it could be a start-up business that does not yet have a huge amount of customers.
