I've ordered from Kramer before and have been happy with what they have supplied. However, unless you are very careful you can end up with expensive products that you don't want and are too expensive, in terms of packaging costs, to return to them. Whilst Customer Services were polite they could not help me resolve some misleading information on their website. I've ended up with two expensive heated water drinkers without the required transformer to power them and without the thermostats to activate them. The additional parts required are not listed on the website which lead one to assume (a dangerous stance to take) that the drinker would work out of the box! The drinkers arrived with no fitting instructions nor product specification. I have to say, at £119 per drinker, they do not represent good value for money. I wasn't given information on how much I would need to spend to make them work I'm VERY unhappy with this and shall not be using Kramer again

Tried to buy a product but I wasn't allowed - It didn't meet with their minimum spend criteria of £25. Who has a minimum spend criteria in this day and age?? I emailed to ask if something could be done but I got a blunt verging on rude answer referring me to their terms and conditions saying i had to spend £25 or no item. How ridiculous. Just charge me for postage like everyone else does if it doesn't qualify for free delivery. I would have thought they would be happy to accept any legitimate order especially at the moment. Suffice to say I will buy what i want somewhere else rather than be forced into spending extra just to be allowed to shop with them. Bad policies and terrible customer service. I will be telling my equestrian friends to avoid them.

Had purchased from them a number of times before and been happy but when item arrived damaged I found out at first hand how poor their customer service is. If your item arrives damaged you will be expected to return it to UK base at your expense and it will then be sent to their headquarters in Germany for inspection before a replacement is sent out. A process which takes several weeks. After receiving the replacement I contacted them again re postage and some weeks later received it as a discount voucher off my next purchase which is unlikely to happen after last experience.

This is one of the worst on line companies I’ve ever had the experience of dealing with, they are rude, unhelpful, don’t give a dam about customer service, they lie and try and cheat you out of refunding you when you return items in perfect condition! The woman on the telephone pretends she can’t speak much English when in fact she just can’t be bothered to deal with a genuine issue! STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS...BAD BAD BAD

#Beware# I have bought many times from them but I’ve never had to use customer services until recently due to my order going to the wrong address...this happened mid September and I am still awaiting a refund for the items I didn’t receive & when I email them they just ignore you and if I ring they fob you off with lies...I am now going to have to contact my credit card company to get my money back..the first time I’ve ever had to do that with a refund in my life.....I’m absolutely disgusted by them and in my eyes they are just thieves as they have my items..they were picked up from wrong address and returned to them by UPS so they have the items and my money which granted is only £50 but how many other people are they doing this too...I think I will contact action fraud once I’ve spoken to my credit card company...please please buy elsewhere if you need western items there is a great Facebook group you can purchase from and as for English items we have loads of British companies that we can buy from that are trustworthy...I hope this review stops anyone else go through the same experience ?

Happy shopping brought to an end by truly dreadful customer service. I can see from other customer reviews that that Kramer would rather lose customers than take responsibility and adjust their returns policy when they send out a faulty or incorrect product. (It took four rounds of snippy emails from them even to discover what their returns policy is). I don't think I can risk ordering from them again.

So disappointed, ordering a riding hat for my son's birthday 12 days ago. Just called up to be told that it is out of stock and I should have received an email (I have not), then they haven't even refunded me the full amount, they kept the postage! This has now been rectified but appalling customer service and one very disappointment child.

Had no problems with them at all. Very informative. My only issue is I ordered the Equilibre Grip Full-Seat Riding Leggings Marleen in Black and the 'grip' came off after 1 ride in my leather saddle and since I washed them (on a 30 and inside out) the 'grip' is coming off more which is a real big shame. Especially if you pay around £40 for 1 pair.

Absolutely TERRIBLE product. I ordered the 'riding boots cross rider' and within the first month of wearing them, the front of the boot UNSTUCK from the rest of the shoe. Cannot stress enough how disappointed i am for spending money on shoes that are not usable, given after a month of purchase no refunds etc can be made. I had sent an email to Kramer about the problem and got no reply... Absolutely shocking service and product. Therefore, i will not be recommending this product to anyone.

i have been a customer of Kramer for around two years now and the bad reviews really do amaze me! i order monthly from Kramer and have never had an issue with order, delivery, items not as described or any issue with returns, ive returned a few items as they didnt fit/suit me and have always had an immediate refund. i actually dont shop anywhere else, Kramer have a huge selection of items, its just such a shame they dont seem to stock Haycobs any ore as these were brilliant and far cheaper than Thunderbrooks. I highly recommend Kramer and i usually end up requesting multiple copies of catalogues as mine always get borrowed as soon as fellow horsey people start browsing! keep up the great work guys, love all the items and the ease of the ordering process.

I ordered the Kramer large playball, advertised as a boredom breaker, suitable for stable or paddock and very tough. It arrived without a pump to inflate it, nowhere in the ordering process was it clear you had to purchase this separately. There was a card in the box with a long message in German only. The ball was wrecked within 48 hrs. I emailed Kramer. Initially they told me to return it. I knew that a refund was unlikely and that I would have to pay the postage. They said there had been no other complaints. Then I queried the German insert, turns out it was a warning that the ball could be burst by for example equine teeth or hooves and it should only be used under supervision. ! I would not have bought this if the information was in the product description, and the warning was useless to me as an ignorant British customer. Their attitude is bad, the only apology was a standard ‘apology for inconvenience ‘. They just accepted my request to be removed from their mailing list, will NEVER use them again, not due to the product, but due to their ‘customer service ‘.
