I chose the 3-month blended course where I signed up for four weeks in house. This worked well with my career and gave me on average two days on the trading floor speaking to tutors and mentors which was invaluable.
Prior to this course I was a professional cricketer playing all around the world. I had no previous trading experience but felt it might be a good career option once I had finished. I had always kept one eye on the future as I knew cricket wasn’t going to last forever. Unfortunately, that was true and after a career ending injury I took up the course.
I chose LAT after coming up in person to speak to the tutors, seeing what the trading floor was like and speaking to students who were taking the course but also those who had finished and where trading live.
I chose LAT because I liked the idea of getting good contact time with the tutors on the trading floor and the fact they teach you from the ground up. The idea of webinars three times a day where you are always learning and the fact you can rent a desk once you had finished the course.
I found my time very enjoyable and learnt more than I could have ever imagined. I would certainly recommend LAT for anyone who is serious about getting into trading.

I actually finished my 3 month full time course in April 2017...
I really enjoyed my time down at LAT. I had been messing around with trading for a little while before I got there.
Its a great environment to learn in - Mentors are nice, helpful, friendly people. I have also kept in touch with a lot of the traders I met whilst I was there. Everyone is very supportive of each other as everyone is very like minded.
After I left LAT I sort of went my own way tried a few things... made some mistakes lost some money. However I realised that if I went back to my LAT 'roots' that I actually started to make money again!
I pop into LAT every few months and still jump on the webinars from time to time and the mentors still have the time to help me out. That's pretty good after care service if you ask me.
The place is actually run by proper professional traders. Who actually worked in the industry for 25 years plus. Through a contact from the tutors at LAT ive actually been able to progress further in my trading career which im very grateful for.
Highly recommend the course! Thanks for your continued support towards my success.

I choose LAT (the 3 months blended course) for personal ambition and development and in spite of the fact I spent just few days in the classroom it was a great experience.
Tutors are well prepared provide technical and fundamental knowledge for every one that want to learn the markets and how to trade and for sure I would recommend LAT to other people.
I really appreciated their competence, patience and the Trade Plan Strategy (SMART) at the end of the course and definitely I liked the content of trading (as a mix of “craft” and art) based not only on mere theories but on practice and experience.

I didn’t have any background knowledge in financial trading, I did the 3 months course, LAT helped me to find my own strategy!! The LAT Team are brilliant, they are always there to help you! I can highly recommend this course !

I attended the partially in house course as I did not have any trading experience so I thought I will need quite a lot of supervision especially the first month. This benefited me a lot as the tutors were there to help and dedicate one to tone time to address any questions the students have. Their attitude and willingness to help was second to none. I highly recommend the course as I can see now how the structured and thorough approach the follow equipped me to have high levels of confidence on the decision making while I trade.

I joined the Blended London Academy of Trading programme as I am working in the Netherlands and had no previous experience of trading.
The online course and the the coursework is very well set up. The daily webinars were extremely valuable and enlightening using real time data as examples. All the staff and tutors have a very good way of explaining the concepts and how to use relevant information to develop ones own strategy and they all have the patience of a saint.
I am extremely satisfied that I took the course at London Academy of Trading. I have learnt a lot and would recommend the London Academy of Trading for anyone considering a training course in Trading.

thanks to LAT, I have become a profitable trader,this course is designed for everyone even with 0 experience as it was my case when I started the course. they provide you with top quality education to help you to create your own strategy and be profitable on the markets, but the most important part of it, it is all the mentorship and guidance you receive from professionals traders with a lot of experience on the markets.
I want to especially thanks marcel and Alastair for all the advice and help they gave me during my 3 months at LAT.

and for everyone with the possibility to assist to the course on campus I will fully recommend to do so or at least for the first few weeks as you will have the possibility of meeting new people and also the possibility of fully sit and have conversations with the mentors and ask them for advice.

I was a student at London Academy of Trading (LAT) in the spring of 201.7 I attended the 3 month in house course.
My background has been in accountancy covering the spectrum of activities as an accountant and auditor for the range of companies in the profession and industry & commerce. All of this had been interesting and challenging.
However I always felt I did not have enough exposure and experience in live stock/money markets apart from placing deposits for companies or even buying and managing shares for myself. I wanted to know how it really worked. I used the banks for my personal finances. I wanted to really know how it worked inside as opposed to getting the bank to do the job with the few options that they presented. I had been searching for a fair while for training in the stock and currency markets. The courses were always too long or too basic. Then I found LAT by sheer accident when they responded to my enquiry. I met them and joined the course which was superb in my view. It was challenging, educational, interesting and practical. There is fantastic spirit of motivation, support enthusiasm and care from all the mentors. I think they are passionate about their teaching. It was hard work having to be a fulltime student again but I even enjoyed it all. I have the fundamentals and practical experience to live markets and work on my own finances. I knew plenty about the business and corporate world but I know more and can operate better with my personal finances. It’s a new door. I can recommend it. Thank you LAT!

I was on the 3-month blended course at LAT (spent 80% of my time in house), and i must say that was what worked best for me. Day to day was always very informative and the mentors there foster a very comfortable atmosphere and will answer your questions as soon as they are able. The course provided technical and fundamental knowledge for anyone wanting to learn about financial markets and trading. Cant think of a single complaint. All the best to everyone there.

I was a blended student of London Academy of Trading, graduate at level 5 diploma in applied finance.

I started the course with basic knowledge in trading, but over the three months I got the knowledge in necessary technical analysis along with the live experience in the markets.

My weak point is the knowledge about the fundamentals that from the first day with coursework, daily analysis and webinars until today I continue to expand.

I Develop a trend strategy together with an open range breakout strategy with a backtest of 5 months. This would not have been possible without the help of the mentors who are all the time helping the students with their knowledge and experience.

Summarized and concrete has been a fundamental training to introduce me in the financial industry, after which I have not taken more than a month to find a job.

If you are thinking of doing a trading course, do not think twice and join the London Acadamy of Trading.

Done the one week introduction to cryptocurrency which was exactly what I was after, really good team of tutors, assets provided were spot on along with all the training literature, I done the course remotely and this worked well as the team were always on hand via chat, telephone on video conferencing to point me in the right direction, I am going to do the 4 week course to learn even more in 2020

My name is Papa Yaw Baah or PBFX I have been trading for 5 years + and one thing i have realized is you can never learn to much, after being apart of LAOT .
LOAT exposed me to new information that allowed me to enhance my trading for the better. my hit ratio has increased and my mental aspect has improved. One example is I am now more selective with my trades and mentally relaxed with the idea of missing out or losing trades because I have confidence in finding another trade and my risk ratio keeping capital positive due to the information gained.

This is a service i would recommend for new beginners to experienced if you want increase the likely-hood of becoming a self efficient full time trader .
Not only is the staff teaching helpful , the experience of being surrounded by other people who either know less, know the same amount or know more is all a good experience when being on the trading floor .

Reason being is because everyone has the same motive, to trade and to trade a way that allows you to take profit so when communicating with one another you will be getting help from pears which will help give you confidence towards your trading or you will giving pears help which will help give your self confidence , especially when you have the LAOT over shadowing everyone helping . This also improves your communication when speaking about trading so when asked or responding on the topic of trading it becomes a easier topic to speak about or explain.

I recently attend an introductory course here and was slightly nervous about attending at first after reading bad reviews at other providers but The London Academy of Trading is a far cry from the other companies out there. All the trainers including Ali, Asanka, Paddy, Marcel and Ahmet are welcoming, friendly, supportive, engaging, knowledgeable and most of important of all, they are not trying to scam you with anything or make out you will become an overnight millionaire. Also when I first approached the company speaking to Cristiana about joining she also reassuringly answered all my questions, as I only had a short time their I was lucky enough to get a short one on one lesson with Marcel but you could see he genuinely enjoyed teaching and sharing his knowledge.

If you are looking to learn even just the basics of this field then these are the guys to do with.

I did the 3 month Diploma course at the London Academy of Trading. It was a very enjoyable and beneficial experience lead by a professional and very helpful staff of tutors who were always willing to lend a hand to help us understand anything we found difficult. Incredibly patient and friendly, leading to an overall very valuable course.

The experience i gained from LAT over the past three months doing the in house course was great! I Learnt so much from having zero prior knowledge. A great set up and regime to learn all the basics and essentials needed to become successful in the trading game. Highly recommended!

With it being 31 years since leaving school it was sure a challenge to get back to studying but i guess when they say if you have a passion for something it sure makes it easier.
The mentors and course along with the 3 webinars a day always gave you the feeling that they were there for you every step of the way ,so if your having a bad day you were always in contact 3 times a day live.
Just trust the course it all comes together with the lessons and structure.
A superb course, i highly recommend for anyone who has had that itch to scratch and just go for it.

Having completed the 3 month Applied Trading Diploma in August, I can truthfully say that what I have learnt from the course has more than paid for the course itself in terms of profit made. The course material whilst never going beyond intermediate level of difficulty is structured and applied repeatedly and consistently 3 times a day through the excellent trading webinars to show how, discipline, common sense and patience can get you consistent returns. To get the most out of the course it is hard work, there is a lot to do in 3 months but if trading is your interest it is an enjoyable 3 months.

I took a 3 month course in LAT in December 2017 and was in-house for 3 days every week. The course was splendid and taught me so much. I tried learning to trade on my own for about 6 months by reading books and watching videos and so on, but in 1 month I understood more about trading than in all those 6 months.
The mentors are great, with background and experience in the financial sector. I loved the atmosphere in the academy and being around mentors and other traders improved my trading exponentially. It is a great learning and friendly environment. I still rent a trading desk there every week to continue trading and improving my skills.
The course is well structured, so even if you are a total beginner, you will get a grip on trading. There are also 3 daily webinars for students, which are interactive as you can type in questions during the webinar. Courseworks, exam and a final presentation of your trading plan are marked and you get a Level 5 Diploma in Applied Financial Trading. LAT is connected to Global University Systems, it is a recognized qualification, when applying for a job in a financial sector.
Overall, I am very grateful for this experience and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in trading.

I studied and completed the LAT 3 month full in house course at the age of 16 with no trading experience. The mentors were always there to help whether that be over email on the webinars or in person while on campus.

The main focus to begin with was making sure that students fully understood the course material, several times one of the mentors would come and sit down for a 1 to 1 and explain anything that I didn't fully understand. We were shown many different trading tools and had help when creating our own strategy that worked for us.

After completing the course and my other studies I requested and was later on invited to returned to LAT and now to this day trade my own funds on the live trading desk and trading is my full time occupation. I would strongly recommend LAT to anybody and being someone that has done the course I would be happy to attempt to answer any questions you have.
