I highly recommend that people should NOT order from this company. I have found them to be fraudulent, unfair, and just plain thieves. I ordered contacts and never received them and they refuse to refund my money until I return the contacts. How can I return something I never received? I work very hard for my money, live paycheck to paycheck like most people. To have a company charge you for a product, plus an astronomical service fee, plus tax, PLUS expensive shipping fee, and then never deliver the product and refuse a refund. I was on the phone for over half an hour and spoke to 3 different people and received 3 different stories. They took my money and didn't deliver and refuse to give me a refund.

They had a great price on my Dailies, < $30 a box. I ordered 8 of them and when I got to the final page the other shoe dropped - $100+ "handling fee". Ok, I was pretty much expecting this. Even after that it was still a fairly low price so I placed the order. The confirmation email gave an estimated arrival time of 9 - 13 days out. After 9 days the order status still said "in fulfillment". I contacted them via their online chat facility. I was told they were out of stock and that it would be 4 weeks from the time of my order before they would ship. I cancelled my order. I am going to be without contacts pretty soon. It sure would have been nice to know that these were on backorder so I wouldn't have wasted 9 days. As to the response from Lens.com below... I rechecked my order and the processing fee was indeed $38.81. My apologies for misstating that. However, I stand by my review. The concept of a "processing fee" is on its own a deceptive pricing tactic. And I don't know this from personal experience, but from reading other glowing Lens.com reviews I understand that fee is not returned in the event a customer has a problem and requests a refund. After cancelling my order I placed the same order with a competitor on Sunday evening 1/26. Since I am running low on lenses I contacted them via their web chat facilities on Monday morning 1/27 and inquired as to the expected delivery date. I was informed "They need to be ordered from the manufacturer. That takes 1-2 business days to receive. We ship the same day we get them in." On 1/29 I received shipment notification with an expected delivery date of 1/31. How is it that it takes Lens.com a stated 4 weeks to fulfill an out-of-stock order when this company can acquire and deliver out-of-stock product within 5 days? And I say a "stated 4 weeks" because again from reading other reviews I see that slipping delivery schedules are common. I saw the Lens.com call come in. I didn't answer because it came from an 800 number which is almost always spam. After listening to the voice mail I debated returning the call. Not because I had a renewed interest in doing business with Lens.com, I was just morbidly curious as to why they would bother to call an individual unsatisfied customer. Read your reviews! They are all unsatisfied! Oh sure, I see an occasional positive review but those are so 180 degrees from most reviews I can only surmise that they are posted by Lens.com or agents of the company. This outfit has obvious systemic problems that can't be remedied by addressing each unsatisfied customer individually. Slow delivery, exorbitant "processing fees", unfulfilled rebates, etc. The goal should be to satisfy your customer in the first place, not to call and assuage them after you p1ss them off.

I must say that I have not yet gotten my contacts, but they have been shipped, so I should be getting them in a day or two. This was so much easier that getting my lenses from Lenscrafters. They were making me get a new script every year. My script from my doctor is good for 2 years. I had it with their taking advantage of me in that way. The process is really easy if you know what your lenses are. You check a box and pay... I will return after I receive them to continue on another review. GST

Ordered contacts; 12 year old had problems with first pair out of the box on day one. Tried to return and you get credit for unused contacts only, minus shipping, minus their process fee. Stay with your local eye clinic, ask your local clinic about rebates as they do give them to you. Stay away from lens.com. Even as a dedicated customer with 3 people in the household they were willing to walk away from business over $26.

I ordered my lens, then when 12 days passed & no notice of shipment or anything else, I contacted them. They said they were out of stock of my lens & had to order from the mfg., & they did not have a date as to when they would get them, but would expedite my order as soon as they got them. GEEZ, I am glad I called them, as they did not send me any notice of delay of order. I am almost out of lens now, & had to place a rush order from 1-800-Contacts......

I order contact lens and got confirmation from 'lens.com'. But after two weeks I checked the order status they told me they do not have no in stocks and they do not know when they could sent me then. That is a big problem here! Is ti the business or kidding? I think if really having somethings wrong with my order you could contact me to discuss how to deal with it. But so far it is only "I am sorry". There is no more info, no suggestion, no date to finish it and none who could help you. I found online it is not just me to meet the similar problems. Hope everyone to check review and then put your orders!

I had to return my lenses, that had not even shipped yet, bc I can't wear them anymore. I get them in the mail. Get a RMA number, use the return label in the box as directed. That's where you screw yourself over. I sent the box back on June 30th and they say that they haven't received them back yet it's July 16th. Thing is the tracking number says delivered back to them on July 7th. I don't recommend them especially if you have to return a product.

5-7 days is turning out to be 17 days or more. If you want to get your lenses before your prescription changes again do not buy them from lens.com. Ordered my lenses on 10/4, they shipped on 10/7. Was told they would arrive around 10/11. They arrived to a Fed Ex location on 10/11 that is about 40 minutes from my house. Estimated delivery date is 10/21. They made it across the country in 4 days and now it will take 10 days for the last 40 miles. Customer Service told me I had to reach out to Fed Ex myself. They do not control their shipper. Ridiculous.

Contacts arrived sooner than they stated, which was good, since samples from eye doctor diminished to zero on the same day package arrived. Price seemed competitive. Eye dilemma resolved,

I placed my order on November 29th. When I placed the order I was told the estimate time of delivery between December 6-10. I've been calling them to check the status and they can't provide me with a delivery time, all I am getting is a runaround from customer service.

I've been ordering my contacts and my son's contacts from here for a Few years and was always very happy. However, when I received an email from my FSA account to verify a charge, when I looked at my lens.com receipt, I realized they had snuck in a $50.61 shipping and handling fee. When I called customer service they said there was nothing that could be done. I asked for a supervisor, they said nothing could be done, their "fees" vary. I have never been charged more than a reasonable S & H fee from them before. They will never have my business again.

I've used Lens.com before, and will continue to use them. I'm always impressed by how easy they are to work with, and how helpful they are resolving problems with my prescription. The only thing that kept me from giving them all 5 stars was that it seemed to take a bit longer than I would have expected to get my order. But other than that, I continue to be very pleased.

I just ordered contact lenses from Lens.com. When I placed my order, it was $163.98 with free shipping. I clicked "place order" on the premise that I was paying $163.98. Then I received my confirmation and it was $190.13. They added a $26.15 "processing" fee to the order. If you are going to add something to an order placed it should say that BEFORE you place the order. I WILL NEVER order from them again as they are doing business unethically. Who would pay a ridiculous fee of $26.15??? I called and was told there is nothing they can do about it. There is something I can do about it and that is use Walgreens who is actually cheaper!! I will be fighting this processing fee with my credit card company.

If you're like me, you have probably been searching for a day or so for the best site to order your contact lenses from. After doing your research, you have probably decided to buy them from lens.com and now you're trying to find out how legit is the site. Right? So I'm leaving this review here for all of you people. I did not get payed or asked to leave a review. Everything well perfectly well. I ordered the lenses I was looking for, uploaded my prescription and my order was on its way. The driver was pretty fast for where I live. The package was in a great condition. The lenses were exactly what I ordered.

I do not like the fact you must mail in forms for a rebate. That is antiquated and only designed to keep people from actually getting the rebates. This is my first experience with them, and the order came in fast and accurate. I mailed off the forms yesterday for my rebate. We will see how long it takes to get it. If it takes too long, I will search other sites and compare prices.

I am writing this review because I am outraged at the price increase that I experienced trying to buy my contacts this year. Upon renewing my contacts I found that the price per box went from $39.44 /box in 2017, $38.94/box in 2018, $38.94/box in 2019, to $53.28/box in 2020. That's at a bulk discount. If you don't buy in bulk, they are $73.28/box. WHAT??? In 2017,2018,2019 there was a processing fee of $18.49. This year, the processing fee is $46.75, an increase of $28.27. How do you justify this processing fee? Why has this fee more than doubled? Last year (2019) my total cost for the contacts were $182.20. This year if I were to purchase the exact same contact lens they would cost $260.37. Why has this exact same order gone up $78.17? During these difficult times of uncertainty, I feel outraged at this increase.
