I have been with Lexham since I was put onto them by my favourite Yamaha dealer. And I have NEVER looked back, or for another insurance company! Excellent service, intelligent people, in general everything gets done quickly. GREAT company.

Not much wrong with the website and overall service - my gripe comes from the fact that someone somewhere has decided that "electric motorcycles" are a new category for insurance vehicles and thus a new risk model is required, but because there's not much "data" on electric motorcycles the prices are sky high! Please sort this out in the upcoming months and years as it doesn't feel fair at all that electric motorcycle insurance is so much dearer.

In the 3 years of driving /riding i have never had to provide my own proof of no claims... this it a tedious and stressful experience that the insurance company has always done for me

I've been using Lexham for a number of years now for insuring my Lambrettas. Each year the price is still very competitive. All the staff I've ever spoken to have been very friendly and understanding. I'd definitely recommend them.

Lexham Insurance provide competitive quotes but make their money from charges, for my example, to cancel a claim free moped insurance policy the charges were: Broker cancellation fee £40, Insurance company cancellation fee £15, Administration fee £27. You add it up. Next time I will find a proper broker.

My son had his brand new moped stolen from outside our house, because it wasn't chained up they wouldn't pay out but the thing I found to be really bad was they wanted £220 to cancel insurance, so my son still had to pay £1300 for bike and the robbers wanted 220 off him, absolutely disgusting.

Disgust to say the least I inform all party's ie broker/insurer that I had previous policy cancellation. And then still cancel my policy due to non disclosure hhhmmm I think some folk have selective hearing as I defenatly informed, them and still have the cheek to ask me to pay in full???? ye straight away (not).

This is the worst insurance possible, I announce them that my bike was stolen and after 1 week from the day of the theft they took me the advance money for the next month. I can't understand what have I insured because I don't understand what is the porpoise for me to pay another mounth for a stolen bike. And for the refund of the money after 1 week they still didn't try to contact me to let me know how the process is going with the return.

Company needs to correct & update telephone numbers, answer messages etc Monday the 14th of October I called from 17:00 - 20:00 on 5 different numbers & no one answered & no answer messages.

I don't think much re the Cycle policy that the fee only includes 1 bike, a change from the prior year. I am the only rider in my household and naturally can only ride one at a time, one being essentially a back up. My use of the insurance would only have happened in the 60s (near Bacton if you are interested when my rear hub broke). There has been no occasion since when this would have been needed, so it is probably a luxury to have this for one bike anyway. In principal of course a re-assuring protection. Grumble over!

Took over 1 hour on the phone just to add one motorcycle to my current policy, didn’t seem to have any sense of urgency even though I explained I was on a train journey, every time putting me on hold for quite a while at a time. Then wasting more time going round in circles, I had to change my tone and ask what do you need from me to insure my motorbike as I was getting delayed, and when I tried to say that it was taking too long and I had to go on the tube he basically said “what do you want to do?” Meaning I either wait or have to start over later not even given me an option to call back and carry on or anything. I have insured bikes many times never taken so much of my time and my customer needs weren’t met. Customer service and reassurance was not there. Will be looking to change insurance providers.

I’ve used Lexham for the last 3 renewals and they’ve always been the cheapest on the market. I was always a little worried about how good they were as a result. In the past year I’ve had to make a (no fault) claim and found them to be very professional and efficient when dealing with it. Having used their services, I really can’t find any fault with them and I’m happy to be a customer of theirs :)

I took out a cycle recovery policy with Lexham Insurance in 2019. I found their call centre staff excellent in every respect and the policy was set up quickly and the documents e mailed to me within a short time frame. Whilst I have not needed to make a claim on the policy I am confident they would good if I needed to ring the emergency number. The product is good value and sets out in a clear way what service you can expect in the event of a breakdown.

I was so over priced when i had 3 year no claim bonus instead of 2 because my previous insurer refused to give me the certificate since it was more then 2 years ago. I was charged 130 pounds extra and after asking for some leniency they reduced 15pounds thats all.

I looked at a lot of insurance companies and i found that Lexham insurance was the best value and price for my age and my first insurance i am 16 and just started to ride my scooter. I would recommend this insurance company to everyone
