Don’t let your contract expire and go month to month. While in contact my bill was around $175 a month. Then once out of contract it skyrocketed to $709 with an almost quadrupled rate. Who has that kind of money? I was not in contract any more so Life Energy can legally do whatever they want. However why would you do business with anyone out of integrity like them. I hope this review helps the next person from being taken hostage by Life Energy like me.

I called on a Monday to change my apartment number... was on hold a bit over 30 minutes. The representative that answered made that so much better merely by the customer service that was provided. She addressed my apartment change immediately and was so kind. I am a little remiss that getting in touch with this company was so difficult... hoping that is NOT the norm... but if the customer service remains constant... I believe that I will be satisfied choosing Life energy as my provider!

Everthing is good except for one thing.....I like to pay my bills as soon as I get notified (email) or when I know the bill is posted on your website......I don't want to have to keep on the "todo list" for weeks.....For some bizarre reason...if I want to pay my bill ahead of time....I get penalized and charged....I think she said $6...for wanting to pay my bills earlier than your computer's billing date......Very annoying and so easily fixed....you asked for my 2 cents....there it is
UPDATE.... Well...just got a call from a Life Energy rep. and was told that there is no early payment penalty...which makes a lot more sense. Apparently I must have been misunderstood when I asked the agent about being signed up for autopay and whether or not I could pay early without the computer charging me again 10 days later on the billing date.... Anyway...it's all straightened out and thank you Life Energy for responding to feedback.....DCS

I couldn't be more satisfied with your company I see a big change a big difference when I used to pay close to $400 with CPS and now I'm paying $61 with Life Energy I have recommended Life Energy to everyone that I know and I just want to say thank you y'all have been doing an excellent job

I didnt appreciate the guy that came and said he was from the electric company and said he was just making sure I had the cheapest rate. He didnt tell me he was from a new company and not.the one that I currently had. I dont like being lied to
Now I'm in a contract that I can't get out of without a penalty.

I like the service real good,BUT there website is not good,you can't pay your bill on it,every time you log in it says wrong account,I tried ten times one time an could not get in.....

My previous contract was for 1 year and ran until March 28th. After comparing different company's plans I decided to renew with LifeEnergy on March 16th for a plan that was more expensive than my original plan (about 11.2 cents per kilowatt verses 8.0 cents per kilowatt). I expected the new plan to begin at the end of my current plan. Instead, they backdated the start to February 21st and charged me the new higher rate for what should have been the last month of my previous plan! They certainly would NOT have let me out of my old plan early without a penalty but THEY voided the last 5 weeks of it with no warning! If I had known they were going to rip me off I would have waited until March 29th to renew with them. The only benefit is the my new contract will end 5 weeks early than if they had began it when they should have at the end of my previous contract so I will be able to change to another company sooner.

Not recommended I was almost done with the contact with them and the customer service have no answer why they don’t want to pay me my $150 or at least the $50 for the first 3 months
