We were an early backer of the Lupe kickstarter campaign and are using the Lupe vacuum as our ‘daily driver’. First: Lupe delivers on all promises. No need to re-interate the marketing literature, very import to confirm that their claims are true. A few things are really remarkable: - Apple-esque unboxing experience. - Quality engineering. Everything has a heavy-duty, Audi-like feel to it. Things fit and click together. Trust inspiring for the long run. - designed with the end-user in mind. You can quickly reconfigure the machine on the go. No need to ponder how things work. - great suction power on high setting. - outer dimensions when stored are smaller than a regular ‘pull along’ vacuum. The machine spends more time in storage than in use. So it’s important that it doesn’t take up too much space in the cupboard. A few remarks - noise level on ‘high suction’ is okay. You can definitely hear it, but it’s not overly annoying. - battery runs 15 minutes on high. This is as promised, but on high you will deplete the battery in 15 minutes. But for both remarks: you won’t run it on high setting often because it’s is really, really powerful. Just like a turbo in a car; only in use when you need acceleration. Conclusion: Quality / price ratio is very good. Do not compare Lupe to some cheap ass vacuum because it is in a different league. Definitely buy this machine if you appreciate superior quality and understand this comes with a price tag.

I wanted a cordless vacuum cleaner and saw this one advertised. It sounded very good. Two features particularly appealed to me. A) the dirt cannister was a lot bigger than other models and B) the weight was close to the floor so I was not having to carry the weight of the motor but could still reach cobwebs in high corners. The delivery time was excellent I placed the order late on Saturday night and had the machine on the Tuesday. It was well packaged in cardboard so no nasty polystyrene to dispose off. The instruction book was in English only so no ream of paper in every language to deal with before you found out how to operate the machine. The instructions were mostly pictorial so even the other half took time to look at them. Now to the machine itself. I loved how easy it was to fit together and operate. It has a bit of a whine when operating but not enough to worry the dogs who normally run and hide when I vacuum. Cleaning was very good I'm impressed. I dismantled it to use on ceilings again quick and easy. I have used it in floor tiles, short tight weave carpet. Chinese rugs and short pile carpet it has performed very well. I'm very pleased with it. It comes with a 30day money back guarantee if you are not happy and that is the only function I will not be using.

The Lupe is a fancy vac with clever details and is easy to use. The battery could have been bigger; it just about survives our modest flat (90m3). I would suggest to have a wall-mounted base that charges when you place the Lupe in. That is the greatest advantage of battery-powered vacuum cleaners for me: grab it, use it, put it back.

Being able to store it standing and removing the battery makes it very convenient. Repurposing the handle as an extension is welcomed as well as I'm able to vacuum in places I wouldn't be able to otherwise. No complaints about its power output either, it definitely gets the job done.

The little bump that prevents the accessories from sliding down is to weak. It slides down randomly when you don't need it. (Let me know if a picture is wanted to explain it better) - Can't vacuum under the couch and bed anymore because it's all bigger then my previous vacuum cleaner Suggestion for an idea: I clean a lot of times the stairs and it would be a great addition if I can carry the vacuum cleaner on my back while doing the stairs. So sort of an enhanced carry mode with straps or anything.

This is a well designed vacuum cleaner - Practical, versatile and powerful. It is also very easy to use and does a great job on a variety of floors around the house. The extension hose with attachments is really useful and everything stores on board so bits won't get lost too easily. It feels like it's built to last and looks different to the rest, in a good way. I would highly recommend it.

I love getting out my new Lupe, its so stylish and well made. It moves smoothly around different types of flooring with ease. The tools are on board handy and ready to use. After using it for the first time I soon realised how poor my old Dyson was. The carpet now looks so much cleaner and fresher after such a powerful suction.
