Limmo was NOT at Boston Airport to pick us up from AA1423 (QF1423) due in/arrived on time at 1530 12.10.19...driver rang tour director at 2130hrs to advise we were not on ?? flight just landed.Cost me to take taxi to hotel...please reimburse me cabfare of $Aust46.00 by cheque payable to A J Darby.Tks.

We did not receive our transfer in Paris from the airport to the ship.We thought the Uniworld cruise was amazing could not fault it. With outstanding service.Some parts of the land content Paris to Nice fell just short of our expectations. The hotel accommodation in Arles was a great disappointment and not Luxury Gold standard.

The holiday was very well planned and special thanks must go to Mitch Bach, our tour guide. He was amazing! Nothing was too much trouble for him and he looked after everyone of us so professionally.

I have travelled Luxury Gold previously - and overall this experience was not up to standard. The river cruise component was excellent and could not be faulted. The second part was not at the same standard.

The tour commenced badly as our arranged pick up at Charles de Gaulle airport did not turn up. Our travel agent had informed Insight about a change of flight and a change of terminal but somehow this information did not get actioned.

On the river cruise there was an option of an evening at Moulin Rouge which we would have attended. On Day 1 we were informed that the maximum numbers were 20 and that all places were already booked. We did not know that you could book prior to commencing the tour.

Similarly, on Sunday 8 October our concierge had tickets for the Lido which we would have attended. As we were not aware of this (no communication prior to the tour or upon commencing the tour), our itinerary showed a free night so we had made other arrangements.

The second component of the Tour was the land travel commencing in Paris. There were 16 people involved - and 8 were coming from the Uniworld cruise. The Welcome dinner only included the other 8 passengers. What is the purpose of a Welcome Dinner if everyone is not there? The 8 Uniworld guests all expressed the same comment and we could have easily joined with the others (as we were on the boat in Paris) - or the welcome Dinner could have taken place the following night when we were all together.

Thanks to our wonderful Travel Concierge Roberto Campos, everything was excellent; he is not only very professional but also personalized in his service to everyone in the group; he took care of all the tour details to ensure that we all have a great time and the best holiday experience in South America.

I arrived at LHR earlier than my scheduled 11:35 since my flight landed a little early. Being first class, our group was first to clear the airport and get our luggage. I went to the arrivals hall - there was no one there. I walked up and down, dragging my suitcases checking all the people holding signs. No Luxury Gold. Finally, I called the number on the voucher ending in 8900 at 11:41. They were totally clueless, had no idea who I was or where I was. I gave them my booking ID and the airport where I was TWICE. They kept putting me on hold searching to find my booking. After 4 minutes and 7 seconds, as verified by my phone log, I finally located a guy fumbling with a piece of paper with Luxury Gold on one side and another persons name on the other side. My name was in pencil. I asked where he had been and he said that he just got the call and had to drive from across town. He lead me to a nondescript car/taxi. The rest of the ride across town was him complaining how he was late because Luxury Gold had called at the last minute.

DAY ONE ACCORDING TO YOUR CATALOG DISCRIPTION: "MEET YOUR PERSONAL CHAUFFEUR ON ARRIVAL AT LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT AND ENJOY AN ESCORTED DRIVE IN A CHIC MERCEDES BENZ...."

I was met by the personnel of Milestone Hotel telling me that they have UPGRADED me to an apartment that I would be sharing with another women. I PAID FOR A SOLO UPGRADE. I was very displeased and told them I had paid extra for a solo. They apologized and said that was all they had. THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I had to spend two nights without solo accommodations. There were two separate bedrooms with shared common space - I paid for the privilege of not sharing space with anyone. There was a single male on the tour. If this was considered private space they should have put him in the apartment. This proves that the hotel did not consider this appropriate to have a male share the apartment with a female, therefore NOT SOLO ACCOMADATIONS.

Told them I wanted to talk to the tour director. That never happened. He did not approach me throughout the evening get together. He asked my roommate how she like her accommodations and if she was happy and she said yes. OF COURSE, SHE DIDN'T PAY FOR THE SOLO ACCOMATIONS! I kept telling him we needed to talk. Finally, I was able to talk to him about the taxi ride and my accommodations. Throughout the tour he kept saying that he had expedited my complaint to the head of the company and was awaiting feedback from Switzerland. That never happened.

2 OUT OF 8 NIGHTS I DID NOT THE HAVE SOLO ACCOMADTIONS THAT I PAID EXTRA TO HAVE.

LUXURY GOLD MISREPRESENTED THE TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT AND MY SOLO

Our time on the Tosca (Nile River cruise) was all Five Star. Crew was extremely professional and personable. Never a frown only happy faces. Fabulous chef. Top Egyptology guide. Everyone from landing in Cairo to flying back to the USA were only concerned with our well being and that we had an experience to remember. This all started with the staff of Luxury Gold which made this possible from our initial phone call to our return. Everyone connected with Luxury Gold is to be commended.

For the money we paid for the experience we where lead to believe it was going to be a samll group of 20 or less, it truned out to be 39 people on the tour. Due to the larger size it felt not as personalized or luxurious as led to believe. We heard from other tour members that there African Safari experince was 200% better than this trip. I have been on other Tours for half the price and have had smaller groups and more personalized experiences. I was expecting more exclusive, higher end based on the fee's we paid.

My wife and I toured New Zealand and Australia for a total of 36 days. We really enjoyed the local guides and the excellent bus drivers. The New Zealand team Tonya and Dianne were over the top, if you don't enjoy them it would be impossible for you to have a good trip. I couldn't find any area that I would have them improve on. The 23 days was just too short. We didn't want the trip to be over.

The Inspiring Australia 13 day tour was equally satisfactory Kyle did an excellent job of keeping everyone happy.We were really blessed to have a great outstanding group of tourists on this trip. It really makes a huge difference when everyone respects others and are on time.

My husband and I had the most fabulous time on our Sumptuous Soul of America tour from Chicago to New Orleans. Ann our travel concierge was the best. She always made sure everyone was at ease and comfortable but best of all kept us well informed on a daily basis of our itinerary and what to expect. Ann added so much extra with stories and inside information about each destination. She made the trip so special and we thoroughly enjoyed each and every day especially our farewell masked dinner in New Orleans and the after hours tour of Gracelands.The food, service, luxury hotel accommodation and bus comfort with the extra leg room made the trip very exciting and pleasant. I would highly recommend this trip and Luxury Gold to family and friends.

Excellent hotel accommodations in VN, Cambodia &Laos, with very friendly , courteous staff.
Welcome dinner in Cambodia was a major disappointment.
Tour director in VN ( Thom ) was OUTSTANDING, very knowledgeable, informative and at times went above and beyond duty to be helpful with unforseen problems.
Several tour mini buses were not up to usual Leg room etc. Insight standard.
Frustrating that such a small item as wine or beer NOT included WITH pre-paid meals. For the overall cost this was more of an irritant .
Welcomed complimentary water on buses, given high humidity & local temperatures

I thought the trip was very good but I disliked that you offered the trip on many dates and then only made it available on one date which was not the date we had chosen. It's very hard to plan other trips when the date is not confirmed for this trip.

What a wonderfull trip hotels were well appointed and great service
The coach in Hanoi whilst being super luxurious does not allow good viewing during trips due to high seats
Would especially like to comment on your guide Thom Nguyen under difficult circumstances on our last day due to closed facilities he went above and beyond to make the day interesting
Also when we had issues with my wife’s passport he even missed his own flight to solve the issue for us a really dedicated person
Will recommend your company to others

A terrific native journey director and driver in a comfortable luxury coach. A few missteps in planning includedmwals, but a memorable experience overall. With respect to value, our expectations were an ALL INCLUSIVE journey for the luxury Gold price, yet many optionals presented once we were on tour. Unexpected number of Not included meals. Lack of any food at all at the welcome reception is really poor form, and left a negative first impression for weary arriving passengers in Christ Church. Seemed like a distinct miscommunication between Hotel Montreal Bar staff and tour organizers, including at Farewell South Island Dinner.

Director was over the top friendly, knowledgeable and generous, really the best you could assign for this itinerary.
