I have traded in 2 macs and an iPad over the years. Never had an issue. Even had a check rip once and they sent me a new one. Highly recommended. Quick communication.

I am very pleased to say that I from now on will be selling ALL my apple products with Mac of All Trades. I had a pleasant experience! It did take some emailing to get the process started, but they made selling my computer really easy. I was a bit septic about it at first but it was worth it. I got a reasonable offer and my check came in a couple of days!

I purchased a used Mac Pro from Mac of all Trades recently. The shipping was fast, and when a problem showed up their customer service was as good as it could possibly be. I'd be happy to buy from them any time. And it was a splendid machine, too :-)

I received my iMac within the same week I ordered it. (Ordered it on Tuesday and received it by Friday). It was packaged well inside the box. The condition of the computer stated it was “Good” which means it can have ware and tear, but any scratches on it were minimal and didn’t bother me (they aren’t on the front side or on the screen). It was pretty easy to set up but was a little slow on loading it. However after all the settings were in place and I was able to start using it from the home screen, it’s been super responsive and fast. I really like it and am very happy with my purchase. I’ve been using it on and off over the weekend and feel like this computer is in great working conditions. I would definitely buy from here again and recommend it to others!

I've purchased five computers from Mac of All Trades over the past decade and have been very satisfied with them every time, except for the most recent. Even during this most recent purchase, however, a quick exchange of emails over the weekend and a follow-up phone call from customer service (Michael M.) led to a fast, mutual agreement that the computer had been miscategorized, leading to my outsized expectations for the laptop. So they gave me a partial refund and I'm just as happy as I'd been every previous transaction. Love Apple products, but not Apple prices. Mac of All Trades will continue to be my source, which is why I refer them to everyone I know who is on the lookout for a new computer.

I recently ordered a used 2015 MacBook Pro from this website and upon first glance, I was skeptical of making such a big purchase because I've never ordered a computer online before so I really didn't want to get scammed. However, after reading all of the reviews, I decided to take the risk and order the laptop. I received the the laptop today and was amazed when I opened the package. The computer was packaged tightly and extremely protected on the inside with the charger on the side of the laptop which was also very well protected.

When I opened up the laptop and turned it on, it seemed to be like it was brand new; no scratches, no dents, no fingerprints. The laptop was also fully restored as well.

Moral of the story, if you were hesitant about doing buying from from Mac of all trades, I can guarantee that you have nothing to worry about. They have honestly exceeded my expectations from the packaging to the condition of the computer itself. It most definitely won't be my last time doing business with them.

I was skeptical sending my Macbook Pro to a company 900 miles away, in hopes of receiving a check by mail in the amount quoted. But after researching online reviews and BBB rating, I decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did. Sure, I probably could have gotten a little more had I sold the laptop on Ebay, but the work involved (and the 10% seller fee) would have negated any additional profit I might have made. All in all, I received a fair, accurate quote (higher than nearly all other trade-in sites I compared to) within two business days. Communication was excellent, as my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly throughout the process. I shipped the laptop (FedEx pre-paid label w/ insurance) and after two business days post receipt, I was notified the inspection had passed and that my check was in the mail. Sure enough, a few days later, the check cleared my bank account. Good communication, fast service and 100% as expected. I will be doing business with Mac of All Trades again.

I was weary of purchasing from a third party refurbisher, but MOAT has given me hope! I purchased the exact machine I wanted at exactly the right price. When it arrived, it had some issues with finding the startup disk. After a few back and forths with the customer service department, it was deemed that there was some faulty hardware. The customer service department sent me a prepaid shipping ticket to send it back and be fixed. Couldn’t have been easier. But it gets better...
I had a small window of time to get the machine back after repair so MOAT sent me an identical machine instead!!! I couldn’t believe it. They went above and beyond all expectations. I fully intend on using this site for any and all Mac purchases from here on. I’m planning on buying a MacBook Air for my wife and we’ve been thinking of getting an iMac for the house. Both of these will most certainly be coming from MOAT. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of any legacy Apple products. Which is most everyone because Apple decided to not make user friendly machines after 2017. Thunderbolt is great, but c’mon; gimme back my USB ports!

I just had my first experience with Mac of All Trades, and based on their straight-forwardness, professionalism, and great prices, I will definitely come back to them if I am looking to sell one of my Apple products. It was time to upgrade my trusty 2013 MacBook Pro which I used daily for professional software development work. While I have experience selling on eBay and Craigslist, I decided it was more time effective for me to let someone else handle the details. Mac of All Trades came in with a reasonable quote adjusted for cosmetic condition based on detailed photos I included. They were quite timely with answering questions and concerns. They even took care of shipping cost. All I needed to do was prep the laptop (remove my accounts and data), and box it up, and drop it off at the nearest UPS Store. Payment was prompt and the exact amount as promised. I will use Mac of All Trades again!

I recently sold my 13 inch macbook pro. I was a bit hesitant at first given that it was my first experience with mac of all trades. They answered all my questions and reviewed my macbook promptly. I would recommend them for future use.

I've done 3 trade-ins - iPad Air, apple TV 2nd gen, and Macbook Air (2014). The prices they offered me were the best of any of the trade in programs I researched (~30% higher) and the process was incredibly simple. They give you a quote via email, you accept and they send a PO and prepaid label via email, you pack and send to them, they send you a check within 3 days of getting the equipment. They keep you updated every step of the way.

I found a great deal on a LED monitor from Mac of All Trades, it was a surprise for my wife who wanted a larger view than her 2018 13" MacBook Pro. The connections from laptop to monitor were not a normal connection i had. I emailed the Mac of All Trades team and within minutes they provided me options and even followed up with a phone call to speak more about which would be the best solution. That level of service is just no common anymore and I will definitely go to Mac of All Trades first for my computer needs and make sure all my friends and family know about this great company.

I purchased a magic mouse from Mac of All Trades and have been using it for about a month. So far it is working flawlessly. I had purchased the same mouse from Amazon a year ago, but it began to malfunction after 3 or 4 months. If this mouse continues to work without any problems after I've had it for 6 months, I will return to write an updated review of it.

I have sold 2 machines to Mac of All Trades now and both times they quoted me a price almost triple what Apple would have paid had I gone through their buyback program (which is almost criminal considering how well Apple computers hold up over time). Mac of All Trades was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had and we were able to take care of shipping the computer/receiving a check in the mail over the course of only a few weeks. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to make the most out of their old Macbook or iMac!
