Hi guys,
It is a little long review, but I think it may help you decide if you want to work with them.
I never write bad reviews, I always try to give opportunities as we all make mistakes, but the situation hasn't improved after a week of purchasing one of their products.
After a lot of research, I decided to buy one of their plugins "Swatches and color variations", which is 25$.
Since the installation, the plugin didn't work properly at all, there is a lot of bugs and errors, like:
- On the product page, once you pick up a color and size there is no button "Clear", so the customer can't go back to the main gallery of images, so you need to Refresh the page so you can see the main gallery again.
- Also the color swatches of some products changed mysteriously to the main images of the products, instead of the Color attribute assigned.
- On the checkout page, if you activate the feature "Update" before buy, next to the word appears a really weird image.
- When you click "Update" in the checkout, it opens a pop-up where you can modify your purchase, but the images of the product are tiny and they are shown in the left corner. Horrendous.
Well, after seeing so many errors I decided that it wasn't worth it and it was better maybe spend a little more money in another plugin that would work perfect.
So I contacted them very politely, explaining them all the problems I had with their plugin, attaching images of the errors and asking for a refund, as I lost my trust in the performance of their plugin.
They got back to me the next day, asking me for my login details to fix it, which I denied, as the plugin didn't work properly since the start, even using different themes.
The conversation between it has been back and forth for the last 7 days, in which I politely asked them over and over to give me a refund as their plugin doesn't perform properly and they kept ignoring my request very rudely and asking for my login details.
The last 3 days I have texted them again to ask for a refund and I have been completely ignored.
No answer.
In their website they clearly state the reasons to not accept a refund:

If the extension is similar to the description and preview provided and it works the way it is supposed to, then we have no boundation to provide you with a refund. Instances which follow:
You realize you don’t want the product which you have purchased after you have already downloaded it.
The extension which you have purchased did not meet your expectation.
You simply changed your mind.
You bought one of the product (extension) by mistake.
You do not have the required level of expertise to use the product which you have purchased.
You ask for goodwill
You can no longer access your product because it has been removed (in order to avoid this kind of situation, we recommend you download your items as soon as you have purchased them).
We will certainly grant ‘NO REFUND’ from the MakeWebBetter subscription.
Add-ons, the extension will not be granted refunds under any circumstances.

As you can see, they don't include FAULTY in the performance of the plugin, so I should be refunded with my 25$ as I shouldn't need to get it fixed by the technicians. It should work perfectly since the installation.
They have proven to be really unprofessional and not caring about their customers.
I am not writing this for the money but for the principle. They prefer to keep my little money and mistreat the customer than do the right thing.
Even if some of their plugins work well, I think is better to spend your money somewhere else where they will care about you and they will treat you with respect.
TO THE STAFF OF MAKEWEBBETTER:
You are forgetting that you make money because of your customers, therefore your customers are the MOST important thing. If keeping their refunds and scamming people is how you make the money, you will lose confidence and customers.
Don't scam and treat your customers how you would like to be treated.
