Me and my 3 other colleagues are the first General Practitioner came through Medicolink. It is a new project and of course it's a bit harder for all of us. I think nor Medicolink, neither us knew, that we would need a much higher level of language skills and professional knowledge about danish guidelines etc. to start our work independently. We are really happy,that our employer has a very good attitude toward this project and together with Medicolink they give us extra courses and professional help to develop. I highly recommend this agency because it also has a longtime follow-up with candidates and they really want to do their bests. Medicolink tries to treat us like human beings not just like ' slaves on the labor market '.... During our stay in Budapest there was a rather friendly, family like atmosphere... Although we had to face a lot of problem when we started to work, they helped us to find a better solution . .... So tusind tak ...

After 6 months in Denmark with family, two children (2 and 4 years old). I have to say at this was a great decision to come here to Denmark. This was a great but a very hard decision but Medicolink gave all the help which we needed and additionally a great and complete language course and practical knowlegde from the basics to a very usefel level. They here in Denmark were amazed by our knowlegde both of language and culture.
Well-organized team with a huge experience. They manage all the things, you have to just focus to the language (fx. gratis day-care to your children). Paid stay in Hungary, Budapest, which is a fantastic city. Organized programs together with your classmates and teachers. Long-term follow-op after the language-course both to you and to your partner.
So briefly I have to say thanks to them for their help to achieve our aim.

I recommend Medicolink out of any doubt for every doctor or dentist who may be interested in working abroad.Despite the dificulties that occur in any relocation, I was helped (and I am still helped)by a young and really friendly and fair team.The terms of contract has been respected but the help has come beyond also.The Danish school in Budapest has an incredible efficiency thanks to flexibility of the teachers and a special concept of the courses created by the teacher s leader.Both management of the school and the recruiting team are controlled after a danish model and it is also flexible and adapted to candidates and candidates family interest and necessities.The business plan seems original to me and the risks are perfectly shared between Medicolink and the candidate.Danemark it is also a viable option.

We arrived in Denmark in 2010, with 4 kids aged between 1.5-7 years. Our main reason to travel was to give our children the opportunity to learn in English in full time. We could not afford that in Hungary, thus we struggled and needed our family’s economic support in spite of my husband being an IT-specialist and me being a psychiatrist. We did not have the intention to settle down in Denmark forever. In fact, it was a very painful decision to leave behind our bigger family and our home in Budapest.
I had a very well planned, thorough introduction course to the Danish language with Medicolink for 5 ½ months. I would like to emphasize, that we were paid under the course, and could 100% focus on learning (not every agency does that). Nevertheless, it took me several months to accommodate to real-life Danish. For the family as a whole, it took about half a year to get in terms with the new conditions.
As mentioned above, we chose international school for the children. Compared to those children who started in integrative classes and afterwards in Danish classes, we have had definitely less problems with the children suiting in. On the other hand, they still feel more convenient with English than with Danish. We always speak Hungarian at home and they have had a Hungarian teacher via internet once a week.
During the first 3,5 years we lived in Aalborg. They have had a shortage of psychiatrist for a long time. Therefore we were urged to take on responsibilities very early (which was very hard and consuming), at the same time we gained confidence and more or less respect relatively fast. At the time we arrived, Aalborg had already established a system for the newly arrived foreign psychiatrists with further language training and introduction to psychiatric practice (the latter in the hospital). Those who came without the support of an agency, have had a much harder time to come into psychiatry, as I saw later in Copenhagen.
Since my husband could not find a job as an IT-specialist in Aalborg (despite he finished the top level Danish course and he is fluent in English), we moved to Copenhagen. In a few months, he had to choose from 3 different job offers (interestingly enough, one would have been in the public sector, despite his far from perfect Danish…).He has had the same job since then with great satisfaction: in an international environment, and in an atmosphere where they would like to keep their employees as long as possible.

I am very grateful to Aalborg (especially to my former boss on the intensive psychiatric ward), without them we would not be in Copenhagen today. Working there was very exhausting for me- and not at all possible for my husband. We still miss the Hungarian community there, that was very well organised and had different cultural activities for different age groups (e.g.book-club, festive occasions, playhouse for children).
In Copenhagen there are more possibilities around (schools, sports, cultural events) and it is also easier and cheaper to travel to Hungary from here.
As far as savings concerned, it became first possible after my husband started to work. On the other hand, we could afford private school all the way long from a single salary.
At the beginning, we planned to stay for 4-5 years. Now, we are in the 6th year and still here.

I’m a medical doctor and I’ve worked in Denmark for almost three years. I went through the Medicolink process in 2012/2013.

Recruiting process lasted three month, and after it the language course was six months long. It was very good, they gave, what they promised. It took place in Budapest, in my hometown. So for me it was not neccessary, but the others (from other town or country) had access to apartments, free of charge. Medicolink has good teachers, high qualtiy lessons in good atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

All in all I think it was a good decision to work together with Medicolink, I can recommend them. Language course is really good, and it is a critical aspect, if you consider to start working in a new country.

I first got in contact with Medicolink in 2012, but I heard about the company before, because one of my colleagues already had experience with them. At that time in 2012, I had already been considering working abroad for a half year, even though the target country was not Denmark. Then that colleague of mine let me know about that Medicolink started recruiting psychiatrist residents for positions in Region North Denmark. I was already in contact with another company regarding the same positions, but I finally chose Medicolink because of its Hungarian relations. I believe that was a very good choice. I can only say positive things about them. They provide high quality language training with the possibility of extra lessons and generous financial conditions – especially compared to my doctor’s salary at that time in Hungary. Besides that, I received significant support in preparing my documents and official papers. The office facilities served all my needs too; we got all teaching material for free. The teachers were well prepared, and teaching was scheduled properly. All in all, the training provided a good basis for the job start in the Danish environment.

I started colaborating with Medicolink 3 years ago at the beginnng of 2014 and i am still looking forward to at least 5-6 happy years.
Although i have been struck by bad luck and experienced a series of unexpected challanges, Medicolink's leadeship and staff were there for support and showed a proactive problem solving oriented aproach towards the obstacles we met. Stating with language and integration courses, accomodation finding both in Hungary and Danmark, staff and company management, these were all carried out in a professional way and i would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone, seeking a new life and a safe future in Danmark.

I have been working in Danmark in the last 5 years.
I did not have experience with, how to get work in a foreign country, that is why I chose Medicolink.This is a professional, friendly recruitment agency, which is full of experience, ambitions, good staff, both in administration and teaching. The language is very "foreign" and the learning process have been hard, still now. But Medicolink did it very well and it helps a lot in the beginning of my new life and work.

Before I started my application to work in Denmark I had been exploring for some time most of the recruiters for this unique country. My investigation included at least a dozen of trustworthy colleagues' opinion that had already had experience with different recruiting companies , not to mention my personal knowledge.
