I contacted the company as I have heard they can come out the next day and desperate for someone to come out asap as my mother is an elderly and her heater had stopped working. Customer service were so friendly and polite and had organised someone within 2 hours. Technician attended (even took his shoes off) and fixed the unit on the spot. I received a follow up call from a member of the team to make sure we were happy.
I have had many poor experiences with serviceman in the past and can honestly say this company went beyond the service and I would highly recommend melbourne heating and airconditioning repairs to anyone who is seeking a fast response time. Thank you!

I needed a repair URGENTLY as it was the peak of Summer and my aircon did not work. I rang the company and explained I had a new born baby and they came the same day & fixed my unit! I found the parts prices reasonable and didn't leave my in debt! I received a receipt for my payment, a report and a warranty instantly via email. If you want to deal with a professional company I highly suggest using Melbourne Heating & Air-conditioning.

Just used these guys again as they had a special for previous customers to have the maintenance completed at a discounted price, another great experience. Thanks Melbair!

Paid service fee of $240 to check out the problem with evap cooling system fan and quoted over $1,000 if agreed to go ahead with replacing multiple parts. Later, I got a quote from another technician, it only cost $120 to come out fit the fan back on within 30 mins. NO PART replacement was required. It is a joke and reap off.

Very expensive ($239 for call out, $99 cancellation fee, whole amount charged the day before the visit!)
No follow through - have emailed and called - have been charged but aircon not fixed, need a new part - but no idea what part, how much, when or what additional costs. Feel so very foolish for not checking into this before booking.
Always check reviews first!
Still hot and no airconditioning but $239 poorer.

Great customer service from the office and technician that attended my place, found the issue and had it ressolved in a few days, this will definitely be my go to heating and aircon company in the future. Got there details from a freind and couldnt be happier. Highly recommended!

We selected Danicon, Melbourne heating and repairs service because they appeared first on the google search. They came out and promised a free service ince heater is up and running, then lied about what was wrong and then when we caught them out because we had someone else come out and review they wouldnt provide us with the free service as someone else had gixed the heater. So unfair spent over $600 for something that would have been $200 with Brauemer. Once addressed with Danicon they ignored it. Don't be fooled.

Called this company and got a callout next day at a cost of $239 to clean the heater and diagnose any repairs required. This was after I spoke to a gasfitter friend of mine who unfortunately lived hundreds of kilometres away and indicated that one of two issues may be responsible for the fault being experienced.

Technician came out to our house, I explained the issue and he partially took apart the heater. Said I needed a pilot burner assembly. This was going to cost $339, plus a clean of $189, plus the repair of any other issue that may be found. He also disabled the heater.

The technicians office called me two days later after sending me the quote. When I said I wouldn't take up their offer saying the price quoted was excessive, they said "you will have to pay for another call out ($239) if you want your heater back together".

As it turned out, all the heater needed was a clean. Turned out I could do it myself being reasonably handy and these people wanted well over $700 to do the same thing.

Had to pay$239 for a 5 min quote. He left his boots on and stood on our couch. Then the quote was 3 times what others quoted and had a disclaimer to charge more of other things are found. Very dodgy business.

I found the two service men polite and well mannered. Answered my questions and concerns in a way I could understand. They clean and serviced my central heating. I would recommend this Company.

Got charged $239 for the callout; couldn’t be fixed on the day. Assured by the technician that the next day would be just parts and labour ($630) but another $239 callout fee has been “authorised” (not by me!) and appears on my credit card. Emailed the company but a week later and a follow up, no reply. Technician was really nice and professional. Not so much the GM, Alex Gerdam.

Our evaporative cooling was not working, it's an older unit which one day just failed to turn on. I rang Melbourne Heating and Airconditioning who sent a technition to my house the next day. The man who came out was polite and worked outside using my side gate despite the drizzle (yep rain in the middle of summer).
As it turned out my unit needed a new part for the pump (i was told by another company over the phone that i needed a whole new unit which would cost me approximately $2,500 - they hadnt even bothered to send someone out before telling me to get a new unit!). The technition explained that as the unit was so old it would be hard to source, however he would do his best and let me know. It did take another 2 days to source the part and have it installed, but i was so pleased not to have to pay for a whole new unit and that this company had bothered to source the part without opting for the easier more profitable option for them.
I was really happy with the service, and the lady in the office was polite and was well educated - she was able to explain what needed to be done in great detail and she had clearly been communicatig with the technition. I would use this company again.

Asked them to come fix my ducted heater the guy rocked up had a 3minute look said the switchboard needed replacing but couldn’t quote me on the spot. Left without doing anything - charged $239! Quote came in something like $700 - got a second guy to come out $60 and fixed it.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Had problem with heater cutting out, they sent a technician out. Did not fix problem. They said they would come again, did not show, fixed myself. Just Pressed the reset button.

In the week before Easter, we contracted with Melb Heating to service our Ducted Gas Heater, and to quote on replacing our old ducting material. The fee was $220. It all took less than 30 mins. The Gas Heater Unit service took less than 15 mins. The tech just blew out some dust as far as I could see. We received no Tax Invoice or Receipt - even after asking for one, and my request for an itemised listing of what servicing the Gas Unit entailed was ignored. Not at all value for money. No Tax Invoice/Receipt - how can that be?. Clearly we went elsewhere to have our ducting material replaced - and for a much cheaper price. Suggest you all go elsewhere too. Brian

I have used this company now over a couple of years. Each time they contact me and remind me that my service is due. It's up to me then if I wish to proceed or not. They don't hassle. They turn up when they say they will, they advise the price before you give them the go ahead so there is nothing left as a surprise. The technicians have always called as promised the hour prior to attending and are very thorough and polite. I would highly recommend them.

I called them to clean my air con filters today. They never gave me quote only an email confirming attendance tomorrow. They requested credit card details to "hold" the job. Without my authority they processed 2 transactions within 5 minutes of each other both transactions for $239 and they haven't even done the job yet! I've called the credit card company to put a block on the card to prevent them from processing any more payments without my authority and referred it to the fraud unit. The transactions are in dispute and under investigation. I then called Daicon to make a complaint and only got a recorded message- no one answering. Do not use this company.

I was charged $275 for the part and fitting that took a whole 15min, I googled the same part and it was $47.95, disgusting, I will be contacting consumer affairs, oh and that's not including the $239 call out fee and I only live nearby them... Thieves!!!

I booked for repair for my heater. they deducted $515 immediately after the booking and informed that friday they are coming to repair. Monday come but no one turned up and no one answering our ff up calls.

After paying $760 over 2 visits without fixing my central heating, I gave up on Melbourne Heating/Danicon and had the problem fixed for $400 by someone who knew what they were doing.

They came and told me everything need changing fan bracket motor cost $1600 plus $210 call out fee they did the work then said I had a gas leak which I was told on the call out that was ok so for another $700 I found them unreliable 5 hours late asked for itemized account which they will not supply keep well away from this company
