it was a fun afternoon...Andy knew lots about Chocolate which was shared in an informal relaxed way...
I would have liked at the start to have received an outline as to how the
session/event would work as it was our first time doing this type of event...but the range of chocolate tasted and their stories was very interesting and tasty!

Attended the experience part of a corporate even in London, Feb 2020. Having done other chocolate experiences in UK and abroad, I was sceptical about the level of detail "Melt" would go in about the history, plant knowledge, production and differentiation of Cacao.

The blind tasting of 20+ chocolate specimens along with entertaining yet informative history and journey of chocolate alongside tasteful music made an unforgettable experience and insight. This event was topped up with hands-on chocolate cocktail making of 3 classics with a twist.

Andrew is an aficionado which is great but his passion reflects on the evening and the entertainment value for anyone who knows a bit about Cacao or even someone who just enjoys Cadbury's Dairy Milk (you won't after this experience)

Our thanks to Andrew & Neus for a great night.

We would love to try again.

I love everything about Melt... Their delicious chocolates, the wonderful shop in Ledbury Road, the amazing wecoming cafe in Holland Park and of course browsing the melt website deciding what to indulge myself in next...

I took part in the chocolate course, I was quite lucky as I was the only person on the day.

Learnt alot about chocolate and the production.

The teacher was fantastic, highly recommend.

This was my 2nd time going and first time trying the cocktail making class. It did not disappoint. Zara is extremely enthusiastic and really adds an little extra to the experience. There were 4 of us which turned out to be a really good size and the actual mixture of making cocktails and tasting chocolate was so delicious! We were chocolated out by the end of it... in a good way!

Definitely would recommend this one!

I really enjoyed the melt chocolate tasting as it was unlike any tasting I have previously been too. It is completely immersive, putting your sense of taste to the test. At the same time you get to learn about the history of cocoa and taste the differences chocolate has undergone since the Aztec era to the current period in time. The only thing that was slightly annoying is there are 2 branches of Melt and when I googled it only the other one came up so we went here in error (as did the other couple). I think this needs to be highlighted a little better to avoid this issue

Good products, however fortunately I was sent a photo of the gift box I bought a friend for Christmas since I was wrongly sent the smaller box when I ordered the large one. Customer services sent out another one but disappointing that the order couldn't be picked correctly

I wanted to order a gift voucher online for a working colleague that will move to London. I had some technical issues with the order, so I directly called the Melt team via phone and they directly helped me, pragmatically. They were very friendly and helpful. So, I can highly recommend Melt.

The chocolate tasting session was a delicious and entertaining journey that took us from jungles of Latin America to the palaces of Europe. I learnt a lot and tried a wide variety of chocolates!

I ordered Melt chocolates as a Christmas gift for my team in London. The chocolates were delivered to the building but never got to my team. Marco and Alexandra were very responsive to my requests for assistance and even mailed out a replacement order.

Having received a Melt Chocolate Master Class for our Daughter as a Christmas present my Wife and I enjoyed a fun afternoon making chocolates from the bean to the finished product. This was both highly instructive and fun if occasionally somewhat messy. We also learned how to make a ganache and temper chocolate.
We left with full goodie bags of chocolate, some of which had to be given away to avoid excessive weight gain.

I took my husband for his birthday as we wanted to try something different. It was a really fun, educational experience, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The chocolate and cocktail making were both fun and delicious!

Bought by family as a Christmas present to me and my partner we where excited to see exactly what we would be doing, having been to a chocolate making class before and allowed to decorate the chocolate only. When we arrived we where given water and a hot chocolate. We then were given some earphones and blindfold and went on a journey of chocolate and where it began during this section we got to taste and try different percentages of chocolate from 100% to 63% Madagascar dark chocolate, this was a great experience learning about chocolate and tasting how it would be at that time. We then got to from scratch get to make chocolate from roasting the beans peeling them then crushing and turning them into a liquid. From this we got to cool chocolate and then make and flavour our own bars (see image), we then sat back down and finished the chocolate timeline all the way up to chocolate now. Overall it was a great experience and me and my partner both loved it and have recommended it to our friends.

I regularly buy the sugar free milk chocolate, in selfridges, its the best of sugar free suberbly creamy and luxurious, I would love a hazelnut or almond option or a hazelnut and sultana and perhaps a sugar free white chocolate, you could go further and create some sugar free chocolate eggs for Easter too, I’m always looking and never finding any, bravo on a super product. Unfortunately I don’t get up to town often!

Aleksandra was great - she was patient and understanding with me on the phone when I was making my order (& a couple of days before easter with lots of special requests I think that makes her a saint.) The whole team pulled together & made our order, sent it out & we received the eggs the next day! The eggs were quality, tasty and beautiful. Aleksandra also made a point to check in with me after I received my delivery to make sure we were happy with our order. I would definitely order from Melt again. Thanks team and a special thanks to Aleksandra!!!

I’ve been buying chocolates from Melt for about 20 years. I’ve been going to the shop in Ledbury St. and also the outlet in Selfridges. I believe their Chocolates’s to be of a top quality but have one grumble which is that their range does not suit my taste. I’m not interested in praline or other nutty chocolates or caramels. I’d enjoy a wider range of vans he’s such as are available, for instance at L’Artisan de Chocolate though I’m of the opinion that Melt produces better quality chocolate.
