Found it very clean and all our belongings were no foisty after been in 6 month, had problem with setting direct debit up at first, but once sorted was fine. Very useful storage and easy to get to.

From the first call to arrange a visit from the representative for a quote to them coming to collect the boxes was a very pleasant experience. The girls on the phone were always polite and helpful. The removal men were also polite and helpful, they also worked in a timely manner to make sure the move was completed smoothly. Even the people who collected the boxes and garment carriers turned up at the agreed timescale. I would have no problems recommending McCarthy's

Excellent service from start to finish,when we had problems with our move they waited and fit us in with 7 days notice. Move team great nothing too much trouble care taken with furniture. Could not fault any part of the service.

We used a storage unit at McCarthy's for almost three months while we had building work done at home. The service was excellent, the units just what we needed and at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was done absolutely as promised, we were extreley impressed by the whole operation, especially by Michael who was with us both days.
We had two friends, who are also moving soon, with us on the move day; they were so unpressed that they have decided to have McCarthys and request the same two men.

Having never rented a storage unit i was shocked by how much it cost, two months for the price of one seemed like a bit of a gimic especially considering the cost of such a small storage unit. Would not use agian.

I used the storage facility in Harrogate for about 5 months. The storage was clean and modern. It felt very secure and there was ample parking and trolleys.
The reception staff were friendly and the account was run efficiently. I would be very happy to recommend.

This is the second time we have used McCarthy's for storage and I can't recommend them more highly. From the initial phone call, the booking, delivering and collecting, everything is made easy and efficient by the extremely helpful and polite staff

I cannot fault your company, from the cleanliness of the storage facility to the excellent 5* service I received from a very capable, professional and polite lady called Wendy Wright. She is a credit to your company!

I was very impressed with her knowledge base and her skill of making things easy to understand. Wendy went through all the ins and outs of what was on offer and advised me on what would be best option for me.

Every time I visited the unit Wendy was there, I was most impressed on Saturday gone, she had 5 different customers in all at once and she dealt with each of them with such professionalism and was attentive to their needs. Instead of just leaving them standing not knowing what to do She acknowledged each of them in turn and got round to them quickly.

Would definitely recommend this storage unit. The credit goes to Wendy 5*

I used McCarthy's for storing a number of items and also for moving those items to my new home. The storage team were always friendly and helpful. The delivery team were very friendly, meticulous when moving items from each home, including being very careful about ensuring covers were laid down in each room. They were also extremely helpful in taking our cot apart and putting it back together as it wouldn't fit through the door.

I would definitely recommend using this company, and if the need arises they will be the first company that I would contact for similar service requirements.

I stored my furniture for a few months. Good service, good prices, easy access and very nice and clean storage area. I also used the discounted van hiring services.

We used McCarthy's Removals to move family household belongings to the self store at McCarthy's Storage World. They provided a quick, friendly service, and loaded everything into the storage unit for us in a well packed tidy manner.
We felt comfortable using McCarthy's Self Store to keep our possessions. The fact that it is a family business was important to us, the staff were always friendly and helpful. We would recommend McCarthy's Removals & Storage.

Great service, but very expensive especially for our needs- We only needed 1 night but had to pay for a minimum of one month. Having never used or had experience with self storage, I think we should have been advised to go somewhere else, or we should have been able to negotiate a weeks worth of storage for example. I think there should be more flexible storage option, i.e 1-2 weeks rather than one month minimum.

Not had much contact with them regarding anything as we’ve had no problems from first getting the double garage sized unit until February. The units are dry and clean would use again if I ever needed to.

From the start we were impressed by the surveyor, Tony, who explained all aspects of the move in detail and with clarity. The removals team were prompt, friendly and very efficient. All members of the team worked hard under tiring conditions due to the hot weather. They remained cheerful and diligent throughout. All of our belongings arrived intact and undamaged.

We used Mc Carthy's for a 2 stage move from Leeds into their storage facility and then from storage to the Lake District over a 3 month period Jul- Sept 2019 .The company were very responsive in providing a competitive quote and helpful in resolving our queries. We also used the firm to pack up our Leeds house which was well worth the money. Our removal team ( Wayne ,Daniel, Gareth and Jordan) were very efficient and extremely helpful throughout the process.

From initial enquiry to securing a unit and then handing back once finished with I could not fault the local team and in particular Wendy for all her help and advice. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing storage facilities. This was the Wakefield branch
