We had our 2005 Chevy SSR Collector Car shipped from Tyler TX to Riverside CA and could not have been happier. We were hesitant to have it shipped because we had never done anything like this. It got there in perfect condition in an enclosed carrier. The scheduling, communication, timing and price were perfect. We would recommend Montway to anyone that would need to ship their car. Also, Robert Cloud who was the transporter and trucker could not have been more helpful, trustworthy, caring and all around a super guy. Stayed in touch with us the whole way. Rating is Excellent. My name is Josh and I had to move a 1997 Jeep Wrangler from FL-NC. First the quote was less expensive as others which is great and they included insurance for my vehicle. Once booked the first truck broke down but they booked another the next day. Truck was picked up at the previous owners house and delivered to me on time within the estimated pick-up/deliver window. I was kept in the loop throughout the process from their reps and even the truck driver, which was extremely nice and professional. Excellent service.

I paid for a vehicle to be shipped on May 22nd and all I have received so far is three calls and an email. One call to schedule. They told me that even though I already paid $1,044 the driver is requesting another $50 and can pick up Thursday (May 28th). I found this ridiculous but I need my vehicle. Another call 4 minutes later to cancel. The following day I received another phone call. Same scenario. Can pick up tomorrow...extra $50. I was guaranteed that it was a different carrier and that they would be there. That carrier contacted the person holding my vehicle saying they’d be there in 45 minutes. An hour later, phone call cancelling because of a flat tire. I received an email cancelling.

Day 8. Still waiting with no word on when I’m going to get my car.

Booked shipment with Montway on October 21 to have a Lincoln Town Car shipped from Florida to Massachusetts. However they assigned the delivery to another carrier Alliance Express LLC. This was red flag #1 and I should of cancelled immediately. I was told to expect delivery on October 25 to 26. Total lie. Still waiting. But it gets worse..

Montway gave me number of dispatch and driver for the secondary carrier. I called both at least 5 times each to get an update. But no answer. No update. No nothing. Days later still no answer.

Apparently Montway and Alliance Express LLC expects you to wait at your house for days with no idea when your car will be delivered. Not even a hint of where its located at any point of the delivery. No GPS updates and no customer support. Totally useless carriers. Moreover I found out Alliance Express only does a few hauls a year. Montway should be ashamed for using them.

Look I'm a reasonable guy and understand sometimes delays happen. But when you have no idea when your car will arrive and have to wait for days or a week at your house with ZERO updates and the carrier ignoring your calls... That's very poor service!. At this time I have no idea when my car will arrive whether late tonight when I'm in bed or tomorrow or next day or maybe next week?

If you like waiting at your house for a week or longer looking out your window 24-7 because you havie no idea when you're car will arrive, then you should hire these clowns. I know I won't ever again! It cost me $700 for nothing but hassle

The shipper was great, Montway however, approached the driver after a deal had been agreed upon, claiming that I was asking for $100 off the price.

When the driver refused, Montway approached me claiming the driver wanted $100 more for the shipment.

Nickel and diming, squeezing both the driver and myself after an agreement has been made. Unprofessional.

This is my second car that I shipped across country (California to Florida) using Montway, Inc. as my broker. Their communication with the customer is excellent; even after the car was received. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend using Montway for your car shipping needs.

I recently had my classic Lincoln Continental shipped from Florida to New Hampshire. I called several shipping companies to get some information about their drivers, but I didn’t feel comfortable with any of them. When I called Montway, they immediately put me at ease. They made me feel completely comfortable and confident that I would get a responsible driver to transport my vehicle. The driver was in contact with me through the whole trip to keep me calm. He was very professional and I knew he would take care of everything. On top of all that, he arrived one day early!! Everything went great!! I would strongly recommend Montway to everybody I know. They’re the best!!!

Just completed a cross country move from CA to FL and needed to ship our Kia Soul EV. Montway was very fast, and their quote was right in line with what I was seeing with other companies. The process was way easier than I thought.

Moved a car from Seattle to Omaha this month. From start to finish the Montway service was ideal. Rather than being bombarded with brokers calling from all over the country, I live chatted with an agent and got the complete transfer lined up without actually talking with an agent over the phone. It saved me so much time with this move. Car showed up in mint condition upon arrival. It may have cost a few more dollars, but I felt confident that the car was in good hands as it traveled half way across the country.

I booked my car to be shipped from St. Louis, MO to Los Angeles, CA with Montway Auto Transport. Montway connected me to the carrier White Arrow Auto Transport and my car was picked up by the driver Ionel T. On the pickup date, Ionel called stating he was at the pickup location earlier than expected and I stated I was 20 minutes away.

When I arrived, the carrier truck was on the street but the driver and my car were not present. After 10 minutes, I see my car making a left turn onto the street with Ionel in the driver seat. When he got out of the car, he handed me my keys and held a pizza box in the other hand. He was unapologetic for driving because he said it would be the same as if he parked the carrier truck at the pizza place and drove my car to the pickup location. I called Montway and they stated they could 1) give me a $50 gift certificate (I would never use it) or 2) file a claim (but there is no external damage to the car).

Be careful other first-time car shippers of what these companies are doing with your car in transit.

I reached out to Monway Transport to have a car shipped from Boston, MA to Grants Pass, OR. The car was picked up on the date we had arranged and was delivered about a week or so later. I was told it would be door-to-door delivery which unfortunately it wasn't. I called to file a complaint with Montway and even though I wasn't able to get through to a supervisor right away, eventually a customer service representative contacted me and made things right. I would recommend using this company to transport your vehicles would also just advice to keep a plan B in mind if they can't make it to your driveway. Cheers

MONTWAY WAS PROFESSIONAL FROM THE INITIAL PHONE CALL TO THE TIME I WAS ALERTED THAT THEY HAD A CARRIER TO PICK UP MY 2001 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM WS6 IN SHOWROOM CONDITION.

THE TRUCK DRIVER DANIEL WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE JUST BOUGHT A NEW ENCLOSED TRAILER DAYS BEFORE PICKING UP MY CAR AND MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT THAT MY CAR WAS SAFE AND SECURE UNTIL IT WOULD ARRIVE HOME. HE HAD A PORSCHE GOING IN THE TRAILER AND HAD JUST DROPPED OFF A LAMBORGHINI HE INDICATED TO ME SO I KNEW I HAD THE RIGHT DRIVER FOR MY CAR.

THE DRIVER'S COMPANY ALSO HAD A $1,000,000 AUTO INSURANCE POLICY...

THE CAR ARRIVED IN THE SAME POSITION AND CONDITION INSIDE THE TRAILER AS IT LEFT AND THE MILEAGE WAS THE SAME ON THE ODOMETER...

Sent my Focus RS to get fully built in Missouri from California and they picked it up 2 days after the first available date. Took 3 days to get there, and no scratches no dents! Just like how it left. Will be using them again to ship the car back.

My Maybach arrived in 4 days. Los Angeles to Miami Beach. That’s fast. It cost more, but I got my $200,000 car back right away. Perfect condition. I’m pretty happy.

Montway moved my wife’s 3 series BMW from Somers NY to Plantation FL on 10/28 and it arrived on 10/30. Service was great and timing was perfect, as we flew back to Ft Lauderdale on 10/29. Price was very fair. Absolutely no complaints! This is the 5th time we have used Montway for the FL-NY-FL transfer and I think they are always consistently good at what they do.

Basically Montway is a broker , who will search for transport companies to deliver your vehicle.booked my transport one and half month earlier , did not contact even when their time limit to deliver is over, had to call repeatedly for updates. Their backup plan is raising the prices or can you deliver car to highway. Ultimately had to cancel . Disappointing.

Transported a classic 1967 Pontiac between Florida locations. Easy to book. Good price. Representatives courteous and professional. Pick up and delivery within reasonable time limits. Driver could have been better handling a standard shift. Would recommend and use again if needed.

I currently have an order number that was not fulfilled. Nobody bothered to call me and tell me the scheduled date for pickup never happened. I had to do my own research to find out the driver never called anybody. It is the auto transportation business in general that cant get things done because they are at the beck and call of private carriers who pick and choose off a public dispatch board. One auto transport is really no better than the next one. It's the nature of the beast. Montway has made it impossible to leave a google review too with keeping google out of the picture. I find that rather interesting in itself. There is not much anybody can do either except to deal with local carriers.

I first was impressed with the price to have my vehicle ship. I received great service and communication throughout the shipment of my vehicle. Delivery was early and vehicle had no damage and the mileage was the same. I was well pleased and definitely would use Montway again
