4 bedroom, 2 story house finished by lunchtime - I listened to the advice of Move On staff - ordered the right truck with 3 lads - I worked as the fourth man. I disassembled, boxed & shrink wrapped the night before kick off - We smashed it out. Patience with our family was awesome, care taken on our gear unreal. James, Dillon & Simon were the professional, happy group of blokes to work with I have seen. I have asked my boss to throw money at them to poach them off Move On and work in the construction industry.

6 hours late
Kept being told driver on there way the 4 times I called.
Helper removalist abandoned the job after they finally turned up.
Had to move my own stuff to get it done quickly.
Atrocious customer service.
Refused to offer any compensation for wasted time.

1 bed to 1 bed inner city to south Melbourne move. Was called at 3pm to let me know that they "could not find a park" and had "no other option for me" left me high and dry with little sympathy. Pathetic excuses and no empathy whatsoever. I better get my deposit back.

Moved a 1 bedroom to Brisbane from Sydney with them.
They don't know what they are doing, they were very very late and they lie constantly over everything.

I moved a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with Move In. The communication was terrible, trying to reschedule the move the night before and ten turning up unorganised the next day to commence. The movers were slow completed the move over two hours later than expected/quoted. The continued calls and face-time to overseas family members was a major contributor. Don't recommend to anyone.

i was promised a delivery time today between 2 and 5 pm with one hour notice and they did not show up - just a bit concerned they may have stolen my furniture .they have sent another message they are 5 hours late -haven't heard back from customer service - WAS PROMISED ANOTHER DELIVERY TIME BETWEEN 9 PM TO 10 PM WITH ONE HOUR NOTICE AND NO CALLS OR MESSAGES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE CLOSED .Refusing to take responsibility for the delay and saying we don't guarantee a delivery time

I moved a 1BR apartment of beautiful furniture from Sydney to Adelaide. Pick up went relatively smoothly. My gear was in storage for longer than anticipated, which I payed for (@ $75 a week). Delivery, once organised, was on time. However.. Once my belongings came out of the truck, things went down hill.. I was faced with broken furniture, water damaged furniture and most annoyingly: missing pieces. They wavered delivery fee ($200), but I'm still left with broken, damaged and missing items.

Moved interstate from Brompton, Adelaide to North Melbourne, Melbourne and paid $600. In short, they blamed their huge delay on police assessing their trucks as not road worthy and needing to be repaired (whether this is true or not, the trucks should not have been dodgy). What was promised to take 1 week took 3 weeks in the end! Countless phone calls to their manager who just hung up on my half the time.

Their customer service staff taking the calls were nice enough but the management is rubbish. At least they gave me a reimbursement when I asked for one. Would have paid more in the future though for a reliable company and stress free move.

Used them yesterday to move following items : Large LCD/Plasma TV Toaster Oven, 2 x Queen Ensemble, 3 x Bedside Table/Drawers , Washing Machine , Dryer, Ironing Board , Vacuum Cleaner ,
Small Household Printer, 2 Seater Sofa/Bed, 4 x Armchair, Coffee Table (Medium), 10 x
Large Plastic Tub/Bin, 10 x Tea Chest, 10 x Book/Wine Box, 7 x Port-a-Robe to carry 100 hanging clothes. All items were boxed except TV was to be bubble wrapped and 2 beds were to be disassembled. Washing machine and dryer was disassembled prior to their coming. Distance of move was 650 meters and on the other end a lift was available to go to first floor.

(1) They specifically committed in writing before hand in the contract the Port O Robes will be brought with no charge and advice for 2 hours was paid after that. They did not bring rods for the Port O Robes and they 2 guys who brought said we forgot. He took 1 hour and 15 minutes to assemble these robs using tie belts. Ultimately we called our own handy man to reassemble the beds on the other end.

(2) They did not send Power Screw Driver and a University Student from India who is doing Masters in Business ( using University break to earn money) having no experience manually disassembled 2 beds and took 1 hour and 45 minutes.

(3) The efficiency was that they took 5 1/2 hours to complete the job and charged 900 dollars.

(4) They were desperately trying to charge 2% Surcharge when I insisted that I will use Debit Card instead of Credit Card.

I gave them a call to question this. The response was we did not charge for Port O robes and it is not necessary to have rod in the Port O Robes. We do not give fixed time quote and our guys had full tools and Power Screw Driver is not necessary.

In nut shell they are a rogue business and usual response on such reviews as I have read in the past is that the customer is unreasonable. Do not look at the trap. I only spoke to them once and that too for 3 minutes to question and they disconnected the phone. I did not try reaching them 2nd time because of the way Fred and a lady colleague spoke to me.

P.S Their workers were well behaved and reached sharp at the appointed time except they were not at all experienced and they intentionally do not provide critical tools so that they take longer to complete the tasks. I feel sorry for the guys who work with them. We gave them 20 dollars each for lunch out of our own choice.

After submitting a quote online with strict instructions to email me and not call, I've received 10 calls (and counting) from this company within a few a few hours. Even though I'm struggling to find a company available for my move, I'd prefer to miss my move date than book with this company.

We discovered that the domain for this business is relitevely new, which means that it could be a start-up business that does not yet have a huge amount of customers.
