Mowpart was excellent in keeping me up to date as to when my items would ship. When I received my parts, they were packed extremely well. Someone really took the time to make sure they would arrive in perfect condition.
Much to my surprise, a box with the tires arrived on my door step today, Friday, June 20. The tires installed in less than 10 minutes, and I'm ready to mow tomorrow. Great prices, fast shipping, and no hassle. They'll get my business again.
Toro 42" Deck Assembly has been ordered and is on its way from Lawnmowerpros.com
I was actually a bit reluctant to order from Mowpart.com since there weren't many ratings on resellerratings.com, and a few that were there were negative. I figured since I was in Texas about 100 miles away, I could always drive up there if there was a problem, so I went ahead and placed the order. I'm pleased to have received exactly what I ordered and at blistering speed, and about the best price I could find on the blades (even including TX sales tax).
Only other comment just in case it matters to anyone: the ordering system said the order would be shipped UPS Ground, but it came FedEx. I really didn't care one way or the other, but in the past FedEx couldn't find my house on a rural route when UPS could.
I'll definitely give these guys a chance next time I need mower belts/blades/parts.
Do you people actually think they can keep every single part made for every piece of equipment ever made on hand, both OEM and after market? NO! And neither does anyone else. This is the very reason I use Mowpart. I ordered the most common toro wheel bearings last year from lawnmowerpros website because the price was 10 cents cheaper and i needed 80 of them. They arrived 3 months later.
Of all the hundreds of parts I have ordered from mowpart there has only been one part I had an issue with. It was a manufacturer defect and Shirley in customer service had me the replacement in less than a week.
My business depends on getting the parts I need in a timely manner at the lowest possible price and this is the reason I will always use Mowpart.com.
So, order placed on Monday, May 26th. Order status update on Tuesday May 26th indicating OEM order placed (my translation? They ordered the parts from Toro). Shipment notification received Friday May 30th. Package received Wednesday June 4th. Everything correct in package.
Overall very happy with both the price and speed of delivery. Obviously this wouldn't be the place to order "urgent" overnight parts from since they needed to get stock from Toro first, but for me it was fine. Their prices were lower than I could find elsewhere and shipping charges were reasonable.
I ordered three parts from them. One of the parts, a drive belt, was offered for sale at an attractive price. The end result was they cancelled the whole order - their explanation was that they could not make money on the drive belt at the offered price. So you don't surmise that I was taking advantage of an obviously incorrect listing, I ended up getting the part from another online retailer at EXACTLY Mowpart's offered price that they failed to honor
thanks for nothing mowparts
