The cabins (we had Cadell 45) were perfectly big enough, the lounges and dining room elegant, the food extremely good, and the bar prices very reasonable indeed for a captive audience.

As for the crew, I particularly want to mention Amanda. All the crew were good, but she was totally outstanding. Mature age people in hospitality are the best !

Kevin filled out the questionaire.He did not rate 1 but 8 so he tells me. He was very happy with the service.

Three night cruise, staff excellent, food great to start with went a bit down hill las day. Captains dinner was nice, enjoyed talking with the first mate at our table. Downside - air conditioning non existent whi was not good when it was 40 plus degrees.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our short cruise on the River Murray Princess.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the cabin comfortable. The off shore excursions were good and always allowed time for a rest period afterwards. The food was excellent, especially the last evenings sea food smorgasbord.
On a personal note, the evening meal ended a little too late for elderly folk.

Service was very good, all staff were customer focussed, from the coach pick-up driver to the boat staff, one of us was gluten free and we could not fault the service and explanation of the food available.

My husband and I thiughly enjoyed what the River Murray Princess had to offered us..The cruse our first but not our last on the Princess was so relaxing and beautiful..The staff capt Matt irvine 1st officer Michael cruse dirctor Martin Engineer Malcolm and all staff treated us like family. The food was delicious catering to everyones needs. I have found my favourite drink the Mud Slide. The cabin was so comfortable. Choc on the pillow. We have and will recommend it to all our friends. Thank you.

First 4days staff poor. Hayley and her leadership not good. When Kevin arrived service changed to excellent. Shelly, the musician, ordinary. My seventh trip .so was disappointed but when Bill Clarke arrived and Kevin came aboard, enjoyed by all. Hayley did not consider the passengers at all

We have cruised with Captain Cook Cruises on several occasions and all have been excellent and this cruise lived up to the excellent standard they have always achieved which was the consensus of all passengers we talked with on and after this cruise. Highly recommended to others.

Overall the service was excellent, with the exception of the first nights dinner, when our table was served last, with tables either side being served. Unfortunately the dinner dragged on for just on two hours. All other meals were served with much more efficiency.
The entire cruise was of a very high standard with the crew members helping to make the trip one to remember for many years to come.
We will be promoting your cruise when ever the opportunity presents itself.

The experience left us wondering why we only booked 4 nights. In the end, we didn't want to leave.
Each staff member we encountered were so pleasant and attentive, and seemingly genuine in their attitude.
The food was first class, with nothing to desire.
What else can I say? Perfect in every way.
We have been on several cruises, but nothing comes close to the satisfaction we felt from this cruise.
Bonus: No Kids, no Casino!

The Monday dinner almost started as a disaster; whilst we had to be seated at 6:30 pm our table did not receive any drink service until 7:15 pm. Part of the problem was the servers were taking orders from all the pairs on a table but only delivering to one pair at a time. There was no indication that we could order our drinks directly from the bar.

The lunch Tuesday (fish and chips) looked a bit lean with only 4 chips on the plate.

As the average age of the passengers is getting older more are affected by hearing problems. It was difficult to hear the oral announcement of the menu. Could this director be given more microphone training? Could a printed menu be placed on the tables?

My cabin being near the auxiliary power source exhaust made sleeping difficult. Can this exhaust be better silenced?

One used to be allowed to smoke at the stern of the bar/dining deck. Now this is prohibited there is nowhere a smoker can get out of the wind when the ship is travelling! Please review this rule.

We had bed bugs and I complained but nothing was done I complained again and got told the beds are sprayed with glen 20 that does not get rid of bed bugs my last 2 nights I had to sleep sitting up in a chair I had bites all over my legs back arms face stomach and chest
The waiter staff and bar staff were fantastic no complaints there the chef looked after my food requirements even tho my email of my food allergies never got to him they did not know
But it was lovely seeing the murray and I got to relax but unfortunately spent the time scratching and scratching

Service was great especially by Captain Grahame, Cruise Director, Martin and
also Nadine, Bella and Richelle. Hubby was sick on the first day and they helped him immensely. Loved the Bush BBQ on shore and also the seafood buffet on the last night. Cabin was spacious as we had a disabled one. Meals were nice with a good variety. Drinks were at bar prices and bills settled up on the last night before disembarkation. Luggage was sorted quite easily once we reached Mannum. The vessel was very smooth and the river calm. The stop at the Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park was interesting as was Swan Reach and our bocci game on the shore when we ******* as it was too windy to proceed to Blanchetown. Although we were amongst the youngest on board we met some really interesting and friendly people.

Had A great trip 4 nights ,food was great and a good choices ,service by staff A1 you only had to ask and if possible it was done Well done guy and girls.....

My wife and I have been regular passengers on the Murray Princess over the past 12 years. The service and friendship of all the crew has been truly fantastic and we hope to continue sailing the Murray River with them for many years to come.

It was my dad who went on the cruise, he is 88 and in a wheelchair, he had a fabulous time and rally enjoyed himself

Our four day trip on the Murray Princess was both excellent and memorable. We commend the staff in particular for their high standard of service. We thought a wider menu range would have been a benefit. Happy to recommend the trip to others.
