One of my new toner cartridges was reported by the printer as needing replacement. mWave have been responsive to my queries for replacement, but I had to access the site to see the response rather than receive an email with RMA information from the company. This seems a little strange.
1. It had unacceptable backlight bleed
2. Jittery and choppy video playback whether on youtube or any videos on the laptop itself playing with any software like VLC or others.
3. One of the built in software called the ArmouryCrate which was for adjusting the level of the fans did not update so whenever i pressed the update icon it just showed that its looking for updates and just keep doing that hours and hours(endless searching) so i knew something was wrong with it. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it again but that didnt work too.
I had to return it but then i had so much uni work i had to do on it so i kept doing my work then one day when i turned it on it went straight to BIOS so i restarted then went to BIOS again found some troubleshooting online but that didnt work either so now the laptop was literally unusable had to send it back to mwave.
I called Mwave and discussed the issues and they asked me with a vague and tired voice to make a claim online and state the issues and just contact us through there and whenever i get a response then send it so i did that and ended up sending the laptop.
2 weeks gone, I commented on the claim which according to them was the only way to do it, asking if they have any updates for me, waited 3 days they didnt reply back so i called them, after 40 seconds of ringing someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up so i called again and then someone else with a very rushed voice just like before like he was doing the worst job on earth picked up and said "we have no updates if we had updates we call you"! this was the third time i called them in general.
A few days later i called Asus and they said that they have sent the laptop back to them A WEEK AGO. How is that possible because mwave told me that "they dont have it" with a rushed voice. Very weird Asus repair center is in Sydney just like Mwave. It literally takes less than two days to post something within the same state so Mwave was either lying or ASUS. I called MWave again the exact same day and I explained what was going on and felt like he wasnt even listening to me he replied "yeah yeah yeah we dont have it when we have it we call you" with a very rushed voice again, like the building was on fire and he just had to get out. The whole convo took less than 5 min.
I called Asus and said that you guys say u have sent it but then how come Mwave doesnt have it? They didnt know either but they said they gonna escalate the issue and someones gonna call me which they didnt.
A day later at the very end of their business hour Mwave replied to my claim that i asked if they had any updates a week ago, saying that ASUS doesnt wanna fix the laptop because they say that the laptop was opened and a RAM (Same configuration as the one already in there!) was installed. They wasted 3 weeks of my time and a laptop which had 1 year of warranty mwave says can be repaired but i have to pay them for it!!! dont even know why!!!
I asked other shops and resllers about their return policy and warranty and they have said opening and upgrading a gaming laptop will not tamper with its warranty!
Shame on Mwave , These people are crooks and mafia they could not care less about you, what they care about is your money once they take it youll have no customer support from them they are too busy to deal with you. They are already making millions of dollars each year you and i give them honest reviews about what they actually do can do no harm to them and they could not care less.
People at Mwave are liars, irresponsible people with no attitude who act like they are doing the worst job. This company should be shut down or at least learn that they cant go for too long if they keep doing what they are doing people are always stronger and words always get out and spread among others.
I was first shocked how much it was .... then I put in discount lamp for
my t.v a up comes mwave.com ==== and in half the price for the same lamp
thank-you for helping the regular people that likes to save where ever they can.== (when you have them by the short hairs....) I received it and now my t.v is back and I saved alot on the price thant-you very much.
