1) Web Site: yes, it looks plain and simple - but it's functional, and I found what I needed within 20 seconds of getting there

2) Order process: piece of cake

3) Customer service: exemplary. I screwed my order up, mailed customer service using the "live chat" feature (it was late on a Friday night so I left a message); first thing Monday morning, get an email confirming change

4) Shipping speed: I ordered late on a Friday night; they shipped early on a Monday morning. Their days of operation are stated as Mon-Fri, so they turned it around quickly

5) Shipping/packing quality: padded envelope, product came without a scratch.

Would recommend.

I ordered a compact battery charger for a Canon camera last year for a long photography workshop. It died within a few hours of use. I have sent e-mails to DigitalDiscount to get this remedied and got no reply whatsoever, the entire purchase was a complete waste of money. I will not buy from this company again.

I recently purchased a Runcore 32GB Pro IV Light 50MM mini-SATA PCI-e SSD for my Asus EeePC 901. A great product for a great price. I purchased on the 18 and I received it on 23. Today is 25 and my Asus is working great with dual boot (winxp and ubuntu). I would definitely do business with this company again.

edit: yes is working with Asus 901 on master SSD 50mm slot... I was worried before ordering, because I did not find any info regarding compability but I risked and now I am happy. I hope will help others too...
And by the way reading specs are better comparing with Asus Eee PC T91.

EDIT: Runcore SSD 64gig for the asus t91 died under 2 months of use. attempting to get it returned...researching the problem online it seems the ssds have power failure problems.

EDIT: RMA- return number obtained. ssd sent back at my cost. no word on when a replacement will get shipped yet. will keep this review posted.

EDIT: replacement received. wrong cord to clone provided. called them they said they would ship me a new one overnight but they never did. so i ended up installing a new os on the new ssd and it seems to be working for the time being. keeping my fingers crossed.

I purchased a OCZ behemoth mousepad from this web site on December 8th. I emailed them twice asking about the shipment status and tracking number but never got a response. They finally shipped the order on the 21st (about 2 weeks later) with UPS ground which has a schedule delivery date of January 4th 2010!!! They stated on their website that the order would be shipped using USPS 1-3 days and the order usually ships out the next business day. I will never buy from them again!

I ordered a SSD drive on 10/7/2011 with a 2nd day air method of shipment. After 5 business days I called to expedite, and was told the item would ship within 10 days after the order was placed. After 10 business days I called again and was told that there is "No E.T.A." on the item. MyDigitalDiscount refunded my PayPal account within moments of the conversation.

So, yes, they have a delivery issue with their suppliers. Yes, maybe I am impatient. But it's possible that they are not entirely deserving of all the negative comments on this board. I am disappointed, but I did actually speak with a person, and the refund was nearly instant.

6 weeks ago I've paid for 2 batteries (paypal) and after 6 weeks of total black out (no confirmation of order, no anwers to mails, just nothing)I received a notification of delivery and few days after a parcel from MDD with absolutly not my order !!! actually my worst experience on the net

I recently purchased a Runcore 32GB Pro IV Light 50MM PCI-e SSD for Dell Mini 9 / Vostro A90 for my Dell mini 9. A great product for a great price. I purchased the 2 day delivery on the 18th, it shipped the 19th and I received it today. Three easy install steps later and I was good to go as advertised. I would definitely do business with this company again.

I ordered the OCZ Vertex LE from their ebay store a few days ago and during that time I emailed them countless time about an update regarding the item, NEVER got a reply. I emailed them about the claim and warranty prior to purchasing too and got nothing. So then I thought maybe they still haven't received my emails yet or are too busy dealing with something else, I waited a couple of days before I started to finally purchase the item. Once the purchase was made the shipping tracking no got mailed to me about 2 days after initial payment (during that time I have made countless messages to contact seller in numerous occasions). I got issues with my item in the first day it arrived, during when windows install my SSD wasn't detected, I rebooted and after that it was not even showing in BIOS. I tried other solutions people on the forums gave me. I had tried contacted the seller through ebay and their website about this issue, but no luck with zero responses (once again) SO I find them terrible and not what they say they are on their website. They don't reply to your emails, and don't even help you, even though they say they do in their websites, they don't care about customer service. I've asked them for an replacement or if I should in this case request for an RMA, but nothing has happened so in the end I had to contact ebay for them to resolve these issues to contact the seller, I have also decided to open a case against them because they didn't contact me after countless emails I have sent to them about my problems and didn't bother serving the customer to help fix these problems I've encountered. I am currently trying to process them and maybe get in contact with them by phone the next few days, but international calls here are expensive and means I have to go through all the trouble because of a simple deal they never bothered to explain in which something went bad.

Bottom line is, if you have another place to buy same products but more costly, then I'd recommend you to do so with their service because these guys don't give a shit about you once they got your money!! They're a disgrace to online businesses and I will never deal with them again!

At first I got very worried about the problem, now I am downright frustrated and angry with their services and their stupid policies. THEY have poor customer service, long delays, poor communication, no warranty or customer satisfaction whatsoever. In conclusion I would avoid them in any way you possibly can.

I ordered a flash drive that was supposed to take 1-3 days to arrive with priority shipping. I received no tracking emails or updates for a week so I called them and the customer service rep said that they did not have the part and were in the process of ordering it. She said they'd have it shipped HOPEFULLY at the beginning of the following week. I didn't upgrade my shipping so that they could take their time with my order. Although the customer service reps were very helpful and expedient, I would not order here again.

I had ordered a 32 GB CF card from mydigitaldiscount.com on a Sunday night for an upcoming wedding shoot the following weekend. I accidentally submitted the order with UPS Ground shipping. Fearing I would not receive the card in time, I called customer service and asked for UPS 3 day. They were extremely pleasant to deal with and said that it would be no problem. The NEXT day (Tue), UPS arrived at my door at 7am with my order! Now, that's service!! Thank you, MyDigitalDiscount.com!

I ordered a product that was back-ordered, and My Digital Discount is the only US distributor of the product.

I got email notification that the product was indeed on back-order, and that I would not be charged until the product shipped.

When my back-ordered item shipped, I again got and email notification, with tracking information.

I have been exceptionally pleased with the service thus far!

I ran into a problem updating my SSD on my Acer Iconia tablet with Windows 7. The adapter I got from Amazon (not their fault) was Micro Sata to usb adapter, but what I needed was usb to mSATA adapter (different animal).
The SSD 128GB card was from MyDigital discount; they had a phone number on their receipt, so I called them for help.
I will go straight to them for my future neeeds and recommend them when and wherever I can.
The lady I initially spoke with was very professional and to make sure she was getting this right she emailed links and had another fellow there speak with also.
They both provided excellent service above and beyond what you get in too many places today.
I look forward to doing repeat business with MyDigital Discount.

Based on a very clear indication of IN STOCK status on their Web site, I ordered a RunCore 128GB SSD from this merchant. After two days, I received an email stating that "as you noticed when ordering" the item was out of stock and backordered--an out-and-out LIE. The SSD was shown as IN STOCK when I placed the order, was shown as IN STOCK when I received their email, and is STILL shown as IN STOCK on their intentionally deceptive Web site. This item was paid for using PayPal, so the merchant got their money immediately, but seem to have no intention of shipping this "IN STOCK" merchandise any time soon. It is very interesting that all of the "Customer Reviews" on their own Web site give these shysters a "5 Star" rating, while Reseller Ratings and others reflect a much lower level of customer satisfaction. I, for one, will refrain from dealing with MyDigitalDiscount.com in the future. I don't enjoy being burned by false claims.

Update:
"Chris" from MDD emailed me on 8/19 referencing this review and asking me to call to "get to the bottom of what happened." Can't he read? All of "what happened" is clearly stated above. Finally, however, after my several emails to MDD, they did (on 8/19) change the status of this product to "BACK ORDER." Had it been honestly represented in the first place, I would have gone elsewhere, as I still intend to do as soon as MDD sees fit to CANCEL this order and issue a refund.

Update #2:
No further word from anyone at MDD, but a credit for the entire amount of this purchase did show up in my PayPal account. One would expect the courtesy of at least an email acknowledgement of the order being cancelled from any merchant worthy of a grain of respect, but this "oversight" doesn't particularly surprise me and merely reinforces my negative feelings toward MDD.

Final Update (#3):
"Chris" emailed the cancellation and refund acknowledgement a full day after issuing the refund, saying the email was held up because his "boss had to approve it." I'm now told that this particular SSD is "discontinued," even though it still shows as "BACK ORDER" on the MDD Web site, as this is being written. Evidently one hand at MDD has no idea what the other hand is up to.

Incidentally, after receiving the refund, I ordered a similar item from another vendor, who shipped within three hours of receiving my order. Delivery is scheduled for Monday (four days, including a weekend).

I placed an order for a Vosonic 8870 was charged $$$-confirmation after approx 1 week No product by 11/23/09 so a replacement was ordered as it may have been lost, 5 days later a cheap A%^ piece worth $20 showed up with no correlation to the actual ordered equipment, I complained and was told a new one would be on the way & now it is 12/17-over 2 months later no reply, I am ready to go to the next level...I have written numerous emails, made many phone calls and I am still out $380 and a lot of time for these con-men.

Ordered a RunCore SSD for my ASUS eeePC 901.
Called toll free phone number, arranged delivery by USPS instead of costly UPS to Eastern Europe. Got excellent service, same day shipping, delivered in a week time.
Would certainly use MyDigitalDiscount.com again!

I called this company to ensure they had a $2,000 part in stock and they said they did. I placed my order 20 minutes later and then 2 days later they cancel my order saying that the part is a discontinued item that was no longer available. They could have been more forthcoming about the product availability in the first place and could have saved me from wasting time.
