This tech support service is a deceptive company. Myphonesupport claims that they are a parent of Consumersoft and are located in New York City.

But that's not the case. Their fake address is a virtual address sold by Regus. This fake company is operated by Quatrro Global Services (located in Gurgaon, Haryana India). They use deceptive practices to convince their victims they are computer issues and are trustworthy.

Microsoft actually threatened them in the past for their fraudulent practices. One of their software MyFasterPc is a rogue PC optimizer which gives out false positives to their victims to assure them they are problems when in reality the issues are non-existent.

So basically, my computer was randomly crashing and blue screen-ing and sometimes wouldn't start up, so I called them because I wanted to review their company.

They asked for remote PC access. So I did that. They claimed my computer has viruses (which my computer was all clean). They showed a list of errors (which if you search it online, it is perfectly normal and they occur occasionally).

They charged $200 for "security" and $99 for a one-time fix with 7-day warranty. I didn't pay for it because this sounds like a total ripoff. I (obviously) declined the offer. This is definitely the stupidest ripoff I have ever heard of.

I'm actually good with computers and technology and later fixed it myself. The actual problem was that my hard drive was dying and had completely nothing to do with viruses or malware.

“This company is a scam. It is suprising they have been around long enough but 99.9% of the reviews are from ConsumerSoft. ConsumerSoft is the orgainization running this scam and others like My Faster PC, and My Media Converter. These are all scams and should not be given a review this high. All customer reviews should be kept a close eye on 24/7.”

I have dealt with several different tech support people over the past week dealing with various problems concerning our printer. All have been courteous, competent, and effective. However, I would like to single out Pooja for special commendation, because she has provided the best tech support I have ever had, either regarding my personal computer or in my many years at work with company computers. Pooja is not only courteous, competent, and effective, she is engaging and supportive. Her technical expertise is remarkable, as is her command of the English language and vernacular--which is something that is often lacking with off-shore tech support. She's great!

I had a problem with a pop up hacker. Instead of calling them I called Microsoft who solved that problem. Also my 2 computers needed to be cleaned of problem issues. One computer had over 2000 and the other only a few. Also my computer has a e mail issue because the provider set up a double account which we are now working on to reduce to only one account.

I was most impressed with the technician that helped resolve my computer problem today. She was efficient while performing her tasks and departed a lot of helpful hints that will help me prevent future problems in the future.

Varsha and I spent quality time together: close to 4 hours fixing all the issues with my computer. She patiently helped me to assist her and at the end the computer began behaving like a much younger revitalized instrument. It took time, but it was time well spent.

In a 4 -1/2 hour session, Smriti Darad managed to redo all the things that had been causing the computer to freeze, and also help reinstall some software that I had lost the code for. It is always a pleasure to get such good, patient and thorough service. Thank you again!

I really appreciated the tech Pooja and she was extremely thorough. She explained everything very well to me during the process. I had many questions and she helped me to understand the issues my computer was having. I feel so thankful now that my computer is performing up to speed and I can resume my work.
