Shocking confrontational customer service. I ordered a car and was advised that the interior would be a particular colour (on quote and order confirmation email). It arrived with a different colour (lower spec and price) and the company simply do not care, are very argumentative and confrontational and simply pass the buck on to CAP saying it was their error. Would strongly suggest that you spend a little more and go with a reputable firm. It appears they have the lowest prices and lowest service. Suppose you get what you pay for…

Will now have to contact the BVRLA and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

If you choose a car and colour scheme don’t use Nationwide as the car you get might differ from what they advise you will get! Be warned…

Ordered vehicle 4 months ago and still no delivery date, I understand the manufacturer may be the cause of the delay but communication is pretty shocking.
I only get a fortnightly email saying your order is still with our supplier, we will continue to chase.
This sort of commumication is acceptable if the order is still on schedule but after 4 months you would expect them to put pressure on the supplier and give a more detailed and personal update.
Currently trying to arrange a car with another company and will be cancelling this once another is confirmed.

The only negative was the time it had taken for my new vehicle to be delivered, it was ordered the middle of September and delivered the 24th February

The experience is always great however this time the lack of communication when my car was 2 weeks delayed was disappointing.

Very good overall, however the car had two scuff marks on delivery, the paint on the nearside front wing has a scuff that won't polish out easily, and the plastic on the drivers door inside also has a scuff mark, the driver noted them and took photos but I didn't get a copy of his delivery report so I can't substantiate the report although we both signed it.

Vehicle delivery postponed with less than 24 hrs notice and AFTER you had collected my previous vehicle.
Vehicle registration incorrect meaning I had to re-Insure.
Efforts made to resolve these and compensate were commendable.

There was a bit of a mixup with delivery, the driver was apparently 100 miles away at 2pm but for some reason the car didn’t arrive until almost 6pm? Otherwise the service has been good, with a quick turnaround from ordering to receiving the vehicle. Easy to follow online process with regular text and email updates.

Leased 3 cars from Auto-Lex and yourselves now had no real issues along the way.. Your scratches and dents policy at the end of the contract could be 'loser' and of course the rising extra mileage charges are not attractive either.. Having no Auto-Lex mats in the cars is very tight and perhaps one step to far for making small savings? - Maybe these could slowed down and/or worked on?

Truck came with no load liner despite paying extra for this, was told my number was going to Nissan for someone to call me about it an noone has.

The main issues with the ordering was the very poor attitude from the financing company involved but the Sales Agent tried his best to get the deal through, which he obviously did in the end.
The chap who delivered the car was friendly enough but the car was not very clean, which as it was driven nearly 200 miles to be delivered explains this. However, when I checked it further, inside and out, there was green buildup which has still proven to be very difficult to remove. Upon further investigation I found out that the car had been sitting in Killingholme for about 6 months, which didn't impress me and has given me concerns about it's maintenance during that time and also it's current and future state and reliabilities.

I have had the vehicle for less than a week and it has already had to go in for maintenance work due to the satnav, the vehicle is already off the road for a longer period of time than I have had it. I'm not sure if nationwide could help this however it has made my experience if getting my first car very poor.

The fact that I am a middle aged white male should not lead your driver to assume that I share his racist and xenophobic world view. What he said was both offensive and illegal

the delivery lead-time was stated as 3 months on taking out the contract, which was delayed by 6 weeks

Vehicle arrived unwashed and not hoovered, delivery driver stated that as it was frosty he could not use the car wash at the local petrol station. Upon inspection of the vehicle the boot was found to not be working, it doesn’t open. I was instructed to call the local ford garage to have repaired.

Our company has now ordered 3 cars through Nationwide and I can only assume that the sales staff are on commission i.e. if you ask too many questions they don't get back to you.

It took forever for you to get the car to me from point of order and when it was actually delivered, you had only registered the vehicle that morning (despite the delivery date being agreed some weeks prior to delivery) which meant that I couldn't insure the vehicle as it didn't appear on the insurance companies database. Trying to speak with anyone in your organisation is difficult, when I finally got through to your customer services on the day of delivery to try and sort out how to insure the vehicle, your customer services employee adopted the attitude that it my situation was tough luck. I explained that I was neither at my home address or at my work address and that the car would have to be left parked in the kerbside for 24-48 hours until the car had been added to the insurance companies' database uninsured but your customer services team couldn't care less and adopted the attitude that I had a cheek in calling you as this is how you always operate. Not good enough. I currently have 2 vehicles leased through yourselves.........when their contracts expire, I won't be taking anymore

My vehicle arrived at8.30am on a trailer but I received no phone call to say he was on his way, It was a good job my previous car was the same model as I had no instruction of how it worked and luckily I was at home when it arrived, I was also surprised that when I received my new car the old one was not collected at the same time, which is annoying as I will have to book another day off work.
