I sent a 14TB drive for replacement because it was DOA when I got it. Their RMA page states 2-5 days processing after they get it back. It's been 15 now and they say another 5. No amount of excuses covers this ineptness when I only live 2 states away. Aside from shipping they've still had it now for 15 days! I talked to chat again today, after their “processing center” said everything was fine and it will send out in 1-3 days, and did NOT ship out today on the third day. After asking for a supervisor multiple times and the agent refusing, she finally HUNG UP on our conversation because, well it was time to go they were closing. What HORRIBLE customer service!! Completely unacceptable. Newegg USED to be good, until they allowed probly 1000 3rd party sellers on there, AND until their customer service went to $#*!. This and another recent return nightmare a few months ago have turned me completely off to them. I will not buy from Newegg any more. I could have refunded it and bought from Amazon and had it in one day. I only bought because it was 20 bucks cheaper... and now I have 50 bucks worth of headaches and unprotected files not backed up. They are just... BAD now. Do NOT buy from Newegg, they are the worst and lie. They told me first 2-5 days after receipt, then they told me d10 more days PLUS 3-5, then the 1-3 days, and still I don’t have any indication they are shipping this back. ATROCIOUS.

They wait 3 business days to ship out an order. Customer service is non existing. Put on hold and after about 20 minutes you are hung up on. Only order from this place if you cannot find it any where else. Expect about 2 weeks for the shipment.

Got an in-stock notification on an RTX3080 and immediately jumped on it. Got the item in cart and went to checkout. Presumably due to volume of traffic the system was having issues getting me signed in and repeatedly prompted me to sign in - it didn't fail, it did appear to sign me in but every time I tried to checkout it would re-prompt for my credentials. Due to this back-and-forth the system ended up flagging me as a bot and blocked my IP and I missed plaing the order. Contacting customer service either to get assistance in obtaining one of future stock (which I know was unlikely), but more importantly to get help in making sure I didn't get flagged as a bot on a future order they literally said "Sorry we can't help with that". Their own system flags me erroneously as a bot and then they say they can't help me with that - unbelievable.

Been shopping at Newegg off and on for about 15 years - no longer as if they've become this bad in helping me place orders due to their own mistake, I can't imagine how bad post-order support is now.

These guys are a**holes, plain and simple
ever since these losers changed ownership to China.. their customer service and product has been GARBAGE.

this is how you treat your loyal customers? the ones who were with you since the beginning? by voiding orders? or shipping damaging products?
and then the audacity to say "we don't sell to Bots.." but all your stock is gone in literally 2 seconds, obviously the work of a Bot... all you care for is money..

it's a shame what you have become.. and you've lost a customer today.

Ordered a guitar neck. After I paid the invoice indicated it was coming from overseas. Too much time elapsed and I questioned them. They kept putting it off and finally offered a refund. It was received less the shipping cost. When questioned they said sorry we can’t refund that. Total ripoff company.

Stay far away from these people...I would give them a negative review if I could. Purchased a malfunctioning product and several months later still no refund, said it was past the returnable date even though I could prove I sent it back immediately. They way they have things set up with third party sellers, requires more emailing and frustration than imaginable. Stay with Amazon, much less grief.

Ordered a CPU through PCPartPicker selecting NewEgg in the USA as the supplier (I'm in the UK). After countless chats and emails requesting tracking details, 7 weeks later NewEgg are still giving me the run-around with their stock response of 'please give us a few more days to locate the item in our warehouse'. Absolutely appalling customer service and utterly ignoring my request for a refund. AVOID this seller at all costs!

Ordered on a Thusday and immediately received a shipping tracking number. 5 days later, tracking number still show invalid. Contacted tech via chat and requested cancellation of order. They informed me that I cannot cancel because item was shipped. Which it wasn't. I Was told I could return it for a fee and pay return shipping, but with RMA. I have a daily chat text for a week of being told that the item was shipped. Newegg is a dishonest seller. Dealing with an item that still hasn't been shipped after a week is criminal. Thier tech support is farmed out and they have no insite into Neweggs orders. Working with MC to file CC fraud charges.

Made my first purchase. Everything went normal. Then, after half a year tried making another one. Found out my account was blocked. Half year after that my girlfriend tried making another purchase from their marketplace. Her account was instantly blocked. for 10 days after 4 customer support inquries and chats we get no adequate responce of account blocking and terms and conditions violations. Worst customer experience ever

They take forever to ship
I had been saving up for a new keyboard since january, when I ordered it (May), they seaid they would send it to me and that it owuld arrive in 3-5 labor days, I received my package last Thursday (August 17th) and although it was not broken, it made me buy a new keyboard that of course, was not ordered in this websiteand it took 3-5 labour days to get ot my front door. I am never shopping on this website ever again and I totally hate the customer service.

I love this store. My computer of 12 years which i also bought all the parts for it threw them decieded to die at the worst possible time, right when covid 19 was blowing up and everybody was starting to work from home. But with the help of their customer service," which even recalled a mobo and ram in mid transit when the one i really wanted came back in stock" i was up and running in no time, and their prices always were the lowest anywhere for my parts. Thanks Newegg ill never buy anywhere else

Terrible company. They used to be reliable, but I have now tried to order a new CPU twice, and both times a shipping label is created, and then nothing. I paid extra for fast shipping and for over 2 weeks now I still have no CPU and no communication. THEY SUCK!

Do NOT order anything from Newegg because they use false advertisement and bait and switch! I ordered 4 "Hohner classpacks of 50 assorted kazoos." Instead I received 4 individual kazoos. I want a complete refund!

Got an iPad for a drone at work. Within 6 uses the charging port fried. Set up the return and weeks later never got the box. Set up the return again and never got the box to mail it back. Between myself and another co worker we have spent 36 hours spaced in a 2 month period on hold and talking to customer support. Could have bought a few brand new iPads for the amount of time wasted trying to get this straightened out paying us to fix this. I am done with Newegg!

I ordered my parts to build my first pc, a motherboard, my cpu and video card. But when my package came i got a cpu water cooler that i didnt order and none of the items i actually ordered. I called they told me 3-5 business days, guess what my parts didnt come. I call the customer support and now my order is now gonna take 10 business days. Terrible communication and customer service

I had been a Newegg customer for at least a decade or more without issue. One day I found that there were a bunch of charges on my account that weren't mine. Mostly someone hacked either Newegg or PayPal and those charges starting happening, I notified both companies, PayPal handle the issue very professionally, refunded my money and we moved on. However Newegg, took a different approach, they immediately closed my account and refused to allow me to purchase anything. I ended up speaking with the head of customer service at Newegg corporate who after some investigation came back and said that whenever I had a new physical address and a new bank and credit card I could open a new account. My husband and I moved to a new home two months ago and I needed a few things so I went to Newegg and opened an new account with a new email addy, new address, new bank, and new credit card. I opened the account without issue and ordered a new AV receiver. Two days later I get an email saying my account was blocked and they canceled the receiver order, but kept the money for an extended warranty I bought with the receiver. To this day Newegg has never spoken to me about why they did what they did, even though I was clearly not at fault. As long as there are credit cards some people will always find a way to steal your information. That being said, a person with a 780 Fico score shouldn't be denied purchasing from a company when the company your buying from gets hacked. Yet that's exactly what Newegg did. The little I've been able to talk with anyone they all agree that something was wrong and wanted to get my account open, but in the end someone always sabotages their efforts. All I can say is that Newegg is a disgustingly run organization that arbitrarily just shuts people off with no explanation. I find them to be very ignorant of how to treat customers and how to actually talk to a customer. They never do either. My purpose in writing this isn't to get Newegg to change because clearly they don't have that capability, I just felt someone had to expose how they treat customers when they clearly are at fault. I've never had a bill from them that wasn't paid in full immediately, nor have I ever returned things unless they were actually bad, this isn't about me or my buying, this is about a CHINESE company that thinks they are still operating in China and they can do anything they want without consequences, this review is part of the consequences of treating a good customer badly and then refusing to even speak with them.
