With the problems we have had with this car and still having (break issue noted below was not addressed in your response) I accept your offer for a refund. I have attached a copy of the original invoice, a copy of the shipping invoice, and supplies list needed to run the car from a local hobby store. The shipping cost for the first return is $19.39. My assumption is the shipping cost will be the same for this return. I have compiled the total refund cost as purchased in sequence noted below:

1. Original purchase, starter kit, tax and shipping (See attached invoice)- $161.76
2. Items purchased to run and maintain car (See attached receipt)- $ 45.91
3. 1st shipping to fix defective car (See attached receipt)- $ 19.39
4. Repair cost charged by Nitro that did not fix problem with car- $ 75.10
5. This return shipping cost- $ 19.39
Total Reimbursement $321.55

Before I return the car, I need clarification on how this reimbursement sequence of events will occur.

a. Please respond to this e-mail as confirmation of agreement to the refund amount.
b. What assurances do I have from you I will receive this refund after you have received the car? I only ask this question due to the 2 broken promises from your company to replace the car and not repair it.
c. What is the time frame to receive the reimbursement check?
d. Once both parties have concluded the transaction, we both agree to absolve each other from any further actions in this matter.
e. Will you provide me with an RMA number?

As you know, I have been contesting that the car we purchased was defective. That the car throttle jambs in the wide open position yet you would not believe me and outright called me a liar on the phone. I have attached one of several videos showing the car with the throttle stuck in the wide open position. Keep in mind, this is straight out of the box and how you sent me the car back after supposedly repairing and testing the car. Notice the hand remote throttle is sitting on the table behind me so no one is even touching it as the cars throttle is stuck. I also have video showing the car breaks do not work. Due to the other videos exceeding 30 seconds on my cell phone, we are going to Verizon to have them put on disc so I can forward them to you as well. I always have contested the breaks did not work as well and between the throttle sticking wide open and the breaks not working, that is why the car crashed in the first place. I am now officially requesting a full refund for every cent I have spent on this car. Your refusal to fully refund my money will result in me sending these videos to the Better Business Bureau and to an attorney in which we will end up in small claims court. I have documented each e-mail, dated and written each conversation we have had on the phone as evidence of your refusal to cooperate in resolving this issue. Again, neither of us have the time or desire to do this legal nonsense but I will pursue legal avenues if necessary. I await your response.

As far as your comment why would Michael say such a thing, ask him, he’s the one who made the commitment. The day I talked to him, I sat on hold for 20 minutes while he talked to his superiors then came back on the line and told me that was the decision made. If you would like, I could produce the phone bill showing my time on the phone. I would really like to resolve this in a civil manner without having to involve the Better Business Bureau (with copies of these e-mails), an attorney and all the crap you and I do not have time to deal with. Let’s just get this done. How much are you anticipating this costing?

I received my order on 28-JUNE-2010. 3-5 Business days, not too bad really. But my shipping choice was changed without my knowledge or consent from UPS to USPS. This was my biggest concern, and it seemed to have fell on deaf ears. The website chat with Jack was as if he did not care. The emails I send to NitroRCX.com's support, also seem to show a lack of interest in customer support. I could have ordered from a retailer on ebay or within canada that sold similar products. I save about $20 going through NitroRCX.com. I just don't know, due to the poor customer support, if I would order with them again, or recommend them to others. For the $131US ($135 CAD) I cannot complain about the product. Exceed and HSP are lower end products, but they seem fine for the price. It seems to be a generic type of RC, that just lacks the bells and whistles of a Traxxas or other "higher" quality products. But..who cares for the price??

so far this site is OK...i'll keep you posted...i ordered an electric starter for my RTR Nitro Truck and it was broke before it arrived...had to use a lot of pressure on the start button jus to get in to turn over and after 3 or 4 tries it just stopped working all together..i have to send it back to get it fixed or replaced....brought my truck from the same company for my Father's Day gift....and its still not broken in yet, because the pull stall broke...completely came out just after 4 pulls on the pull start...brought the electric starter and it doesn't work....a man only has 2 things in this world and you shouldn't break them for anyone...i'm sending it back and i'll let you know after the service i recieve and product....

I was been told that my package will be delivered on 22nd May, 2009 and then its was been rescheduled to 27th May, 2009. I must say the service of Nitrorcx is very poor and next time i wont buy any product from this website..

I bought 3 of the Nitro 1/10 Monster Trucks, they all have the wrong wheels, I complaint to the customer support, they just ask me to call the customer service but always busy, I tried few days but couldn't get a hold with them, this service is terrible and unacceptable, I don't have any problem from other website, they will fix it right the way, now I am feeling nobody offer any help.
The speed is ok and acceptable but very hard to keep in slow idle when fully stop, front bumper is fragile, the pulling start string is not durable and will break easily, I order the electric start kit and hope will be easiler.
For $169.90 I wouldn't complain as the cheap price but still have to keep up the customer service.
I have order one more and will see the wheels is right or not. If not fix this problem, I and all my friends wouldn't order anything from this company anymore.

I placed an order with these guys on December 9th 2009 to get my Son's Christmas present. I bought an 1/10 Scale Exceed RC MadSpeed Electric Powered Drift Car 350, when I received the car, the car was damaged, the car body was broken but the box in which was shipped was fine, no dents, rips or any sign of bad handling during the shipping. I tried to contact them by phone but no luck, it was impossible, I spent a lot of time on the telephone every time I tried to call them. I decided to email them but it took more than three business days to get every single reply. The live chat service is terrible is always "busy". After all of these attempts they finally gave me the RMA number to ship the car back but they said they don't cover any of the return shipping costs even though it was their fault.So finally I decided to keep this broken car since is almost Christmas eve (nine days after I received the car) and if I ship it back, it'll take at least two more weeks to get the replacement, so it will be next year. Therefore I prefer to give this broken car to my son instead of nothing as a Christmas present.Buyers I want to warn you guys that this is the worst experience shopping on the internet that I ever had. Nitrorcx looks like a home business with a terrible customer service. I would never buy anything from them.I'm very sad because I spent $120 to give my son a broken car and I know he is going to be very sad too.

I ordered a 1/10 brushless buggy on oct 2ng. I recieved the car with a broken radio crystal. I paid 40$ to ship it back. I get the cat 2 weeks later (10-22) and one battery is dead. The ecs processor is bad. I now have to pay shipping again to send it backand get charged a 15% restocking fee for something that NEVER WORKED. Customer service's answer to everthing "this is our policy" DON'T TRUST THIS SITE

I purchased the 1/10th rally monster for my son's as a birth day present. This is a great beginner vehicle for my son. The break in was easy and simple. The rally truck was just like it was advertised out of the box and ready to run. The only recommendation is that you write down you stock setting when tuning your vehicle. We had a little trouble adjusting the idle setting but with help form online support at nitro rcx it was resolved. I did find that most hobby stores did not cary a selection of replacement parts for our truck and that they had to be ordered through the web site. This was frustrating because you had to wait to order and some parts were sold out so ordering took longer. There are some parts that can fit the rally monster from other brands so some parts can be obtained form other hobby stores. I did find some reluctance form hobby stores regarding our nitro x RC rally monster. They kind of looked down on this RC car because it was not a top shelf model. I still am really pleased with the 1/10th rally monster, it has great handling and is extremely fast. My son and I look forward to racing soon and finishing in first place just to show those hobby snobs that a great priced well built rc car can run with the big boys..

this was my second order from nitrorcx both orders have been orders of parts for a rc monster truck both orders had at least 15 to 25 different parts. the orders were complete and shipping was extremely fast. from the time i punched the key that paid the charges to the items showing up at my door was 72 hours thats fast.they also kept me up to date with the transaction with notifications by email at each different stage of the the process. both orders were packaged very well.the most important aspect is pricing,the amount they charge for their parts is the cheapest i have found on the web BAR NONE.how can you lose with the best prices, fastest shipping, and outstanding customer relations NITRORCX is my go to parts vendor.

I have purchase 4 deferent RC cars from NitroRCX very happy with all. The last one I ordered was a 1/10th Scale Exceed RC 51C872-MaxStone10-Green Rock crawler. This is a nice little crawler. Although I may need to change the shocks it tends to lean to one side do to motor stork. As for NitroRCX They have been grate to buy from very fast shipping. And customer support has been grate every email has been answered within one day and all questions answered. I have also found them to have the best prices on RC products that I have seen.

For me NitroRCX Gets AAA+

Ordered a Nitro RC car + starter kit on 12/28. Package shipped the same day and shipping information + UPS tracking was emailed to me. The unit arrived yesterday (1/5/10) as scheduled, in good packaging and good condition. Although I haven't been able to run the car on nitro yet, I did install batteries in the RC controller and receiver and verified that that part works fine.

I can't wait for a break in the snow to power it up!

Overall I'm very satisfied with the great price and quick service of NitroRCX.

great web site, great selection, great prices,however 100% satisfaction guarenteed is one one thing that shonsnsnuld be removed from the site. my rtr purchase came with no general instructiions which resulted in esc failure.the tech dude did not help me at all,in fact iwas lied to,purchasing a new esc turned up with no positive resulted in the same inoperable result/ i guess that the old saying is true "you get what you pay for".be smart and go down to your local hobby shop where you can talk to an enthusiast who will go out of their way to satisfy your every need. thanks for the oppurnity to get my message to others. buyers beware.
