I had a small issue with payment - I was offered the first month free but was charged this by mistake. After calling, the NobleOak representative corrected this mistake without any fuss. The people were easy to deal with and willing to help.

Many insurers won't insure over 60s. This was by far the best value policy offered by those that do, and will cover me until I'm 99. This gives me peace of mind. Also, I'm able to increase my level of cover until I'm 69. Caitlin's phone service was excellent and my application was approved within 24 hours. I haven't lodged a claim (since it's Life Insurance only, and I'm still alive) so I'm unable to comment on that part of the process.

I requested a few times not to be called during work hours. There was also a request for a time that would be better after work. The call was not always returned.

I then requested for all communications to be made via email during work hours. They continued to call me on my mobile during work hours instead :( I was not able to take the mobile calls during work hours.

There are too many questions to be going though via the phone. I much prefered to answer the questions via a form that I had to fill out. After finally going through all the questions (someone did call me after hours for this) they emailed me the form that they filled out from my questions over the phone. After going through it and thinking about I worked out that I didn't need to be insured for that much income protection. It was after this that they were trying to contact me by my mobile during work hours and it was during this time that I requested several times on the phone and via email not to call me during work hours but to communicate with me via email instead.

For some reason they really didn't like t communicate via email but instead called and called via my mobile during work hours. I eventually just stopped answering my mobile. I got sick of it. Felt totally harassed and pressured with the calls. I never had time to think when they called. It all felt very rushed. I made sure I looked at the application on my own time via the pdf they sent me on my email. This was much better and I was able to think more clearly as to what I really needed and not just what I was told that I could be insured for.

I didn't really like the way they communicated!. Even with all my requests.

And now that they have got my money for the income protection insurance on the 9/10/2019 I have not heard from anyone. And I have not received a copy of my insurance certificate. I only have a copy of the application an the changes I made on it by me writing on it which I emailed back o them. I have not received an insurance certificate! Just wondering how long it is going to take for them to send me my certificate of insurance - we are now almost in 11/2019.

So that I why I rated their service as bad. Hope things change !

And for your information I didn't purchase life insurance as noted above. I purchased income protection insurance (yet another mistake). I hope they have my insurance correct.

All was going so well with Noble Oak until...
they wrongly debited a personal bank account for the full annual pre-paid premium $11,500 instead of my credit card as I instructed and authorised.
Unfortunately, this has caused considerable cost, inconvenience and embarrassment— my bank account went into overdraft as it did not have available funds to cover this large unexpected debit, causing penalty interest charges plus unauthorised overdraft fees...

I had income protection with NobleOak and I told them about a car accident that happened to me 6/7 years ago and the issues that followed with my neck at the time.
Even though I told them that the problems had been fixed they refused to cover spinal and neck issues in case of a future accident after one year from the start date of my policy... This is what you get for been honest.
I canceled my policy then.
I still have life insurance but I will look to change company soon.

Everything went well on the phone just too many questions way to many questions I was told a few days later it was approved then the next day I received a phone call to answer another question that they had missed think they went overboard with all the questions

It was enjoyable but I called several times and was told I would receive a call back in ten minutes. Well, hours later I received a call. I would rather be told to call back later or truthfully tell me later in the day rather than to sit and wait. It only irritates people.

Stephen was really helpful, he was polite and explained everything really well. If there was anything we were unsure of he explained it in easy to understand terms.

I had a very lengthy review due to doctors and specialists being on leave etc. It went on for months, and Noble Oak kept in close contact with me the entire time, updating me with what was happening and what needed to be done. They were always polite and helpful.

The staff during application were friendly, and the quote was great - BUT they placed a 2 year blanket exception on ANY mental health claim, simply because I'd previously had some relationship counselling. I'd hate to think how somebody with a diagnosed mental illness would feel dealing with these people - it's like having a bad knee and being excluded from any claim related to your physical health.

My husband and i were quoted a price then went through everything with medicals etc then get the acceptance and it’s $190 a month more

Ive had both life and income protection insurance for many years now , and with different companies . I was looking to change both my cover and company as I was seeing that I was not happy with what I was getting . I fortunately made a call to Noble Oak and was again fortunate enough to speak with Taylor Ralph - great person , great service , explained everything to me in detail , back and forth , and I went ahead with noble oak . The application process took 2 months. I didn’t realise a healthy and fully functioning 27 year old without any chronic illnesses would have to jump through so many hoops to get income protection. Should I ever need to make a claim, I hope the process isn’t this difficult.

I spoke with Barney and he was both helpful and a good rapport builder. I had no idea what I wanted or needed to know and Barney explained things clearly which helped me make a better informed decision.
