NordVPN

After monumental frustrations trying to get ExpressVPN to work on our AppleTV 4 I decided to try NordVPN. Unfortunately, NordVPN doesn't work on AppleTV and/or our ISP-supplied router. Unlike ExpressVPN, Nord has a live chat-line which confirmed the problem & completed a refund within a couple of minutes.

I've had nothing but issues for three months with this product and I would never recommend them to anyone. I have been trying to get a refund which they refuse to issue because they have a 30 day refund limitation. Of course they CAN issue a refund, they just WON'T. This product disconnected my internet connection countless times in a day. I could sit and watch it disconnect 10 times in as many minutes! I reused to believe it was the VPN giving me issues so I bought a new router, contacted my carrier to get a new modem, and exchanged ethernet cables. All over three months. I then disconnected the VPN - and unbelievably, I never ONE TIME lost my internet after that! That's when I started asking for a refund and they refuse. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Apart from the inconsistent and diametrically opposite things I was told multiple times by their customer service people about the intermittent blocks that they more often than not pled ignorance about whilst the tech people were actually fixing the blocks, I was reasonably satisfied with the service - until now. What I am upset about is that I couldn't find any email about my original subscription anywhere, and just now, without so much as sending me any kind of reminder in advance of my subscription ending, this company abruptly cut off my service. At first I didn't even know what had happened. I subscribed at least 2 years ago. I can't remember when it was. Normally a company sends a reminder in advance of your subscription ending, but not these people. They don't have enough regard for their customers to even be bothered to do that much. It isn't listed on this website so I don't think I can leave a separate review for it, and it's early days, but so far I highly recommend UK Expat vpn if, like me and some other British citizens living abroad who want to watch British tv you want to do that too. This is the only reason I wanted a vpn. Nordvpn have let me down recently in this area, so I went looking for an alternative. UK Expat vpn have all of their servers in the UK. The CS lady was good at answering my questions, it was easy to set up and use, and I immediately got the use of my paid app back that hadn't worked for the last week.

NORDvpn deliberately and randomly have several defective servers in the same IP RANGES that block many websites Other companies provide more than one port for udp, NORDvpn far too easily blocked - Other companies provide more than one port for tcp, NORDvpn far too easily blocked - This company NORDvpn deliberately and randomly have several defective servers in the same IP RANGES that block many websites including the netherlands based website, the leak testing website called ipleak.com and unfortunately this company NORDvpn have support people who do not know how to fix the problem - my support ticket was closed without fixing the problem, so very unhappy customer - VERY DISHONEST REPLY received from NORDvpn reads "real user of our service as well as to troubleshoot and resolve your issue" - my support ticket was closed without fixing the problem, so very unhappy customer - when printed the contents of all my emails sent to NORDvpn total thirty-eight A4 sized pages, fully detailing my replies to their every question with my answers including (1) "so how many hundreds and hundreds of additional times do you want your customer to flush the DNS, and to empty the CACHE" - my support ticket was closed without fixing the problem, so very unhappy customer - (2) "if you had read and did remember the content of all of my previous emails, you would know that I am NOT using the NORDvpn app, so how do you change the DNS settings when using openvpn udp on a DD-WRT router" - my support ticket was closed without fixing the problem, so very unhappy customer -

I have an account with Nord VPN, For the latest 18 months I have not wanted an account with Nord VPN. I tried to close it over a year ago. Since then they have been accessing my bank account and taking payments without my permission. I even have a new bank account and somehow they accessed this account and took a years subscription out AND they took it 2 weeks before they said they would. This gave me no time to cancel once more. And now I cant get my money back. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. The way they treat their customers is very very poor

It's understandable that as a student I wanted to spend as little money as possible.. so I went with nord vpn. And honestly never regretted that choice. The speeds now are just insane with that wireguard protocol, so I'd highly recommend trying it with streaming services.

Nord VPN has allowed me to browse the internet safely and it does so for a decent price.. at a time when internet users seem to have increasingly less privacy online, Nord VPN helps take some control back. Generally my experience is really positive.

VPN works a treat unlike other's that I have tried before. They also have a great chat system which is far superior than any other I have seen before. They have been very helpful and extremely quick resolutions. Effortless.

Got me a 2 year plan on and it's amazing already. So many options for half the price I used to pay the last few years.
