Olivers Travels

Like so may others, we fell victim to the Covid travel restrictions and could not get to our booked accommodation in July 2021. We knew this was a possibility, but we were pressurised into paying the full amount of £4,917.84, or else lose the deposit of £1,720.
We were assured we could use this credit anywhere that Oliver’s Travels had on their books and then gave them ample time to find us something similar for 2022. After months of being fobbed off and passed around various customer service advisors, they could not find anything suitable for 2022 or even 2023! Finally we had enough of their antics and requested a refund, only to be told the booking is non-refundable and that is their “final position”.
They have told us they do not hold our money and yet can offer us accommodation anywhere else on their system and pay our money to that owner.
They attempt to hide behind unreasonable terms and conditions, so our next step is legal action against them and MasterCard, as this company needs to be exposed publicly. You may see this review in many places from now on!
They have our money, they cannot provide the service we require and have no legal right to keep it.
We have been left without a holiday, disappointed children, £5000 poorer and a belly full of frustration.
If you were up a creek, Oliver’s Travels would say you weren’t entitled to the paddle you already paid for!
Simply AVOID, scroll on by, but WARN YOUR FRIENDS about them too.

The first two properties I requested turned out not to be available, although it showed the dates as free on the website. However, the staff in the office were so helpful in finding us an alternative, even though we were looking quite last minute. Would definitely use again.

Straightforward booking process with the ability to “hold “ a property for 48 hours without charge, useful for re-confirming the availability of everyone in the party.
Concierge request a little confusing; requested private chef but then redirected to Dine Indulge directly. Why not refer clients directly to them in the first place ?

I booked a cottage with you on Sunday and I contacted you on Monday no one contacted me. You then said we need to check that the management company is ok with this ? Its advertised all over the place so you assume they want to rent it .
No one called me back so I left it a day .
I called you again to say whats happening , and you said let me check ... ow yeah its ok ill take the full amount now thank you .
So if you are going to ask how do you rate our service id say pretty poor.

I booked a villa with them last year, and the service we received was good. This time so far the service has been good.

I booked a villa in Turkey wirh fairly short notice. The booking process was great. It went downhill with the " concierge " service which was dismal. There was no ground presence. The key was left under a flower pot and no loo paper on arrival at midnight.. all our requests for help with cleaning etc were just not answered .

We were super organised in booking our holiday in September last year, but due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to completely change our booking, our agent couldn’t have been more helpful, hugely appreciated!

I wish I could give my experience with Oliver's Travels 11 stars! I stumbled upon them while looked for a wedding venue abroad online. I was looking all over Europe but currently reside in Washington D.C. Stephanie was extraordinarily helpful with the difficult task of finding a venue without being able to actually see it. She was honest about each property and really tried to get a sense of what I wanted in order to find the best possible fit. I would definitely recommend Oliver's Travels to anyone, and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

Evie was great helping us book a venue for our wedding, super quick, super helpful and I feel like she put our needs first.

Very prompt response by oivers staff, day or two for owners to confirm. Like the website and listing.

Excellent service from first enquiry to booking of our villa in Gozo for next September. Georgie from Concierge services was quick to respond, and answers all my questions promptly and in full. I am sure that the remainder of the process of booking concierge services will be equally smooth and it has taken the stress out of booking an overseas holiday.

This is our fourth booking with Oliver's Travels. The accomodation is excellent, user friendly web site and professional, helpful staff who respond rapidly and treat us as individuals. What's not to like?

Hit a glitch with property owner lapse in updating their availability calendar and Oliver's Travel staff was very gracious and professional resolving the problem for a positive outcome.

Amelia is very nice and helpful when I first approached her. During the inquiry, she showed her patients and professional knowledge towards the properties. It’s a very nice experience for the booking service.

So you send me an email saying that because of the coronavirus you will give 100% refunds if we have to cancel, but oh wait you have to make money so that’s all to make ur clients feel better and actually u can’t give refunds because of a million crappy reasons. So I’m down 2 thousand American dollars and I spent 3 days in a villa because Spain got locked down and even when it got locked down i can’t get a partial refund or anything.... your company is a joke and I’ve lost a couple grand at 18 years old because of your fake advertising if you guys get sued and your company goes under I will cheer like my country won the World Cup I lost 100 hours of work because you wanna make money your company is unethical and your emails are scammy.... a partial refund would’ve given me appreciation but absolutely nothing is absurd.... too so with the actual villa it’s amazing best view ever and atleast I got a couple days here but I’d recommend to book it with anyone else literally any other site this one ***** and only cares about money
